16 Chapter 16
Garp and I are still exchanging cannonballs.
"Ken we are at the mountain!" screamed Ace
"Just keep going! Their ship won't be able to go through here!"
"I WON'T LET YOU ESCAPE!" screamed Garp
He picked up a massive cannonball.
'Shit! This will be tricky.'
He threw it towards us.
'We aren't going to make it if that lands.'
"Just keep going!" I screamed

*WOOSH*
I appeared above the massive cannonball. I took out my two new swords.
*SLICE*
*SLICE*
I cut it into four pieces.
*WOOSH*
I appeared back on my ship, and the giant cannonball pieces fell between our ships, successfully buying us enough time to escape.
I looked Garp in his eyes, and I could see disappointment, but he also seemed a little proud.
"I'm sorry old man, but I could never serve under an organization that serves people who kill and r*pe whoever they want!"
He looked down and turned around.
'I was really enjoying my time with Garp. Too bad, it had to come to an end.'
I walked to the front of the ship, and we just got on Reverse mountain.
"WOW!" x3
They were all surprised that water could flow upward. Even though I know about it, it still is so cool.
"I really thought you were lying." said Deuce
"Well, maybe you should trust me more in the future. But this is no time to stand around and do nothing. Ace, get to the back of the ship. Deuce, Sabo, keep the ship straight."
"Yes, sir!"
I went with Ace to the back of the ship.
"What do you want me to do?" asked Ace
I kicked two holes in the ship.
"Put your legs inside those holes. When I say "now" you will propel the ship forward with all your power. Understood?"
'When he stands in these holes, he will be connected to the ship, so when he shoots out his flames, the ship goes forward. If he wasn't connected to anything, he would just fly back.
"Yes."
I sat on the front of the ship.
'If we go straight, we should get there.'
A little bit later, I saw the top of the mountain.
"NOW!"
*WOOSH*
The ship got propelled forward really fast.
*WOOSH*
The ship started flying in the air, and everyone started was holding on for dear life. Suddenly the ship started falling.
*BOOM*
We fell back on the sea, but the current started to push us back up the mountain.
"Ace, keep using your devil fruit to move the ship forward! Don't let the current take us back! Deuce, Sabo, take down the sails."
Flames started spitting out from the back of the ship, and we started fighting the currents.
After struggling for a couple of minutes, we finally made it out and onto the sea.
"You can all relax now."
"Sigh, finally." said Ace
"So this is the Grand Line, huh." said Deuce
"Nope."
"WHAT!?" x3
They were all shocked.
Deuce grabbed my collar.
"Are you saying that we did all of that for nothing!"
I smiled at him.
"We came here to pick up our new crew member."
"Wait, where are we and who is this new crewmember?" asked Sabo
"We are in the West Blue, and the one we're looking for is gonna be our navigator."
"How did we end up in the West Blue?" asked Ace
"Sigh, you guys really are stupid."
The glared at me.
I took out a map of the world.
"This here is the Red Line, and this is Reverse Mountain. As you can see, there are five rivers that connect to the four Blues and the Grand Line. Normally you go from one of the blues directly to the Grand Line, but we used it to get to the West Blue since it was our only way to get here."

"Hm, I see. Well, let's just go and find the navigator. Do you know where he is?"
"Not exactly, but if we go here, we should find him."
I pointed at an Island on the map.
"But, there is something we need to do first since we escaped from Garp successfully."
"What is it?" asked Ace
I smiled at them.
"PARTY!!!"
"YEAH!!!" x3
[Next day]
I woke up with a big headache.
"Argh!"
'We went too far yesterday.'
I stood up and looked at the other three sleeping on the floor with smiles on their faces.
I smiled.
'I'm glad that they're happy. But let's wake them up.
"GARP IS BACK!!!"
(Girl scream) "AAAHHH" x3
The jumped up with scared looks on their faces.
They looked around, and when they saw no one, they glared at me.
"Hahahahaha!"
The looked at each other and then nodded. They suddenly came at me together and tried to hit me.
*BAM*
*BAM*
I kicked Sabo and Deuce away and grabbed Ace's head.
He had a shocked look on his face.
"How can you grab me!?"
I smirked.
*BAM*
I smashed his head onto the floor.
"Did you really think that Logia users are invincible? Let me tell you something. In this world, there is a power called Haki."
Deuce and Sabo came closer to listen in. I let go of Ace.
"Haki is a mysterious power that allows the user to utilize their own spiritual energy for various purposes. It can be used to sense people's spiritual energy and predict their actions, give the user a protective coating of spiritual energy, and, for a certain group of "chosen ones", overpower the willpower of others. All living beings in this world are capable of learning Haki; however, most people do not notice it or fail to awaken it."
They all had surprised looks on their faces.
"The first one is called Kenbunshoku Haki, the second one is called Busoshoku Haki, and the last one is called Haoshoku Haki."
"Who would have known that there was such a power in this world." said Sabo
"I'm able to use the first two, and I don't know if I have the last one. But if you go to the Grand Line, a lot of people will have it."
"Wow!" x3
They looked at me with stars in their eyes.
"I will teach it to you if you've mastered the Rokushi-"
They didn't let me finish and started training immediately.
'It's good for them to have even more motivation. Now Ace won't be so cocky. And they now know that they will need to become stronger if they want to survive in the Grand Line.'
I let them do their training and started sailing the ship towards our destination.
'Demon Sheriff Laffitte. He is, without a doubt, a talented navigator. And let's not forget about his other skills like his stealth skill. He was able to infiltrate Mary Geoise without being noticed. That is a skill that could easily get him a big bounty.'
I looked out onto the sea.
'There are two beings that I have to be really careful of. Blackbeard and Im. I say beings because I don't know exactly what they are. But those are worries for the future.'
