116 Chapter 116
[Yo, guys, and girls. Thank you all for all the kind comments. I'm almost in tip-top shape again. I'm sorry for missing the last two chapters. I'll try to bring out a chapter tomorrow but no promises.

[Ken P.O.V.]
I looked at the giant's ship and saw that they have 9 new additions.
"Captain!" x4
I jumped over to their ship.
"Yo. How have you guys been?"
They smiled.
"We're better than ever, Captain!" said Dorry
"The two of us managed to beat every last giant on Elbaf!" said Brogy
'Like I thought. There is no way that my subordinates could be anything but the best.'
"That's amazing. I'm so proud of you guys. So who are the rookies you took with you?"
"Oh, these guys? We already told you about those four. They're our old crewmates. And the other five are brats that worship us. They are Hajrudin, Stansen, Road, Goldberg, and Gerd."
(An: They're the New Giant Warrior Pirates. I'm too tired to write out how all of them look, so just give it a quick google search.)
"Are they any good?"
They all glared at me, and the next second they were bowing down in front of me.
"Wow, Captain, you got so much stronger!" said Oimo with stars in his eyes
"You've seen nothing."
"I can vouch for their strength, but they do tend to act arrogant to people they think are weaker. Especially people who are smaller than they are. Which I guess means almost everyone." said Dorry
"Well, you better get them in check. If they act like that again, I'll kill them."
The rookies all froze.
"Don't worry, Captain, we'll make sure that this won't happen ever again." said Brogy
"That's good. Do you have any booze so we can celebrate our reunion?"
"Of course, Captain, we won't go anywhere without!" said Dorry
He sent one of the new guys to grab the barrels of booze.
"Let's have a party, and let me introduce you guys to the new crew members that I've picked up."
"YEAH!"
Everyone cheered, and we started partying like we always did.
[12 hours later
3 am]
Sabo, Ace, and I are sitting against the center mast with red faces and bottles in our hands.
"The moon looks extra beautiful today." said Sabo
"It's probably happy to see us back on the blue sea." said Ace
"You guys are really wasted if you think the moon cares about any of you guys."
"Tsk, you always have to act higher than us." said Sabo
"Well, I am the oldest and the strongest, so it's only natural that I'd be higher than the three of you."
"Oh yeah, Luffy. He started his journey a week ago, didn't he." said Ace
"I wonder what that brat will be able to achieve. But knowing that he is our little brother and who his father and grandfather are, I would be surprised if he wouldn't be able to become extremely strong."
Ace and Sabo looked at me weirdly.
"You know who Luffy's father is?" asked Sabo
'I'm too drunk.'
"Yeah, it was pretty easy to figure out."
"Come on, tell us." said Ace
"Alright, but you better not tell anyone else. Luffy could be in danger if the marines found out."
I pulled them close to me and whispered in their ears.
They looked surprised.
"Damn, how could I've been so blind. But he does have a funny family. None of them went in the same path." said Sabo
"I doubt that Luffy would actually know who his father is. He never even seemed to care." said Ace
"It's not like he lacked any family love to begin with. But I do wonder how he'll react when he meets his father."
I took a big gulp of my bottle.
"His father does owe me a lot, so maybe he'll come and meet us one day. We'll be able to rough him up really good for abandoning our little brother."
"You think we can take him?" asked Ace
"Not in a head-on fight. But maybe I could manipulate him emotionally."
"And if he is a cold bastard?" asked Sabo
"Then we'll end up as dead bastards."
"Sigh, we still aren't strong enough is what you're saying." said Ace
"Just remember that there will always be someone out there stronger than you. And that guy is, of course, yours truly!"
"I shouldn't have expected something profound from you." said Sabo
"Can't handle the truth?"
"Don't worry. I'll shut you up one day."
I held up my bottle.
"I'll be waiting for it, but till that fictional day arrives, let's drink. Cheers."
"Sigh. You're such a bastard, but I like drinking, so cheers."
"Cheers, you bastards." said Ace
We drank and laughed till we passed out."
[2 days later
2 pm]
"Captain, 10 pirate ships at 1 o clock." said Van Augur
"Flag?"
He stayed quiet.
"What is it?"
"It's the Beasts Pirates flag."
I became nervous.
"Is he on there?"
"No, sir. There is no sign of Kaido or the All-Stars."
'We got lucky. I'd rather not have a confrontation with them right now.'
"Laffitte, get all the ships to move around them."
"Yes, sir."
He went to tell all the helmsman what to do, and Jinbe took the lead. The ships started to move around their ship's travel path, but unfortunately, it seems like they were after us. They changed their path and went towards us.
"Sigh. Sabo, get all the ships in battle formation."
"Yes, sir!"
The ships stopped sailing away, and got into position. The main ship stood alone on the front, facing forward, with three rows of ships behind it. Every row has 5 ships, which are spaced out and sideways. There are cannons on the front, back, and sides of the ships. Since the sides have way more cannons, it's more effective to have the ships sideways. And if they come from our sides, we can still fire back with the front and back cannons, just with a little less effectiveness. The giants are all the way in the back. Reinforcing our rear.
The Beasts Pirates ships stopped about 100 meters(328 feet) away from us. A guy with a half white half green hat with two horns sticking out of it, a half white half black mask, and purple hair over the right side of his face stood on the front of the biggest ship. He looked offended by how we reacted.
'Page One. One of the six Tobiroppo. Which is under the All-Stars. I don't remember what his fruit exactly is, but I think I remember him having some kind of Ancient Zoan-type Devil Fruit. I should read my book again. It's been a long time since I've refreshed my knowledge.'
"How dare you point your weapons at us! Do you know who I am and who this flag represents!?"
"Yeah, I know who you are, Page One. It's only normal for me to be careful when someone part of the Beasts Pirates chases me. Kaido doesn't have the best reputation as a merciful guy. So what do you want?"
"Tsk. Sir, Kaido wants you to join his crew."
My crew immediately became nervous. Most of them know that Kaido is the last person you want to work under.
"And what if I refuse?"
"Huh? You really want to know?"
I nodded, and he suddenly radiated a lot of killing intent.
'So he is about to attack us. He has 10 ships with him, but way fewer men. And his formation sucks ass. They are way too close to each other, and they only have 2 cannons on the front. Only their main ship has 5. I can see nothing but their downfall.'
"His orders were to kill you if you rejected."
Someone suddenly passed by me, jumped to the enemy's main ship, and landed right in front of Page One, almost tipping over the ship.
"What did you say!? Who do you think you are to threaten my Captain!" screamed Akari
He was about to grab his collar, but Page One jumped back.
"It seems like I'll have to make an example out of you!" screamed Page One
His size suddenly started increasing, and his crewmates ran towards the back of the ship. When he was done changing, he turned into a Spinosaurus.
"Are you already starting to regret your decision?" asked Page One while smirking
Akari started moving forward and turned into his full Sabertooth Tiger form. Page One and his crew looked shocked. Akari glared at him.
"The day you dared to threaten my Captain was the day you signed your own death certificate!"
