Monster at Night - 2
"Nee-sama, we shouldn't force ourselves against that monster, now that it's dark the monsters should be stronger" (Marigold)
"Right, we're retreating. But before that, Sonia. Find 1 herb first, me and Marigold will distract the monster" (Hancock)
"Alright" (Sandersonia)
They already have a plan, but they know that carrying out the plan is not easy, the monster in front of them has 3 times the power.
Looking at Living Twig's size, they concluded that this monster excelled in speed and raw power. So Hancock and the others will only attract his attention, not to defeat the monster.
But then again, it's not easy.
Even though they had tried to dodge the incoming attacks, due to the difference in their Statuses they still got hit.
Before long, Sandersonia managed to find the last of the Herbs. Because the requested item has been obtained, they decided to run away.
But the monster wouldn't let them go. With his speed, Hancock and the others could be caught up easily.
"Looks like we won't be able to leave before defeating this monster" (Sandersonia)
"I'll block his attacks, though not for too long. After the monsters stop, attacking as hard as you can" (Marigold)
"Our MP is still full, attack using Haki and Devil Fruits. But don't let us run out of MP, we are in enemy territory, don't faint" (Hancock)

Like Hancock said, their MP is still full because in diverting attention and avoiding the monster's attack they didn't use Kenbushoku Haki.
So they can use their Haki and Devil Fruit abilities now. Hancock's two younger sisters immediately turned into their Zoan forms, namely Anaconda and King Cobra.
Although it can't be too long, but at least the difference in status can be reduced. But there is a problem, Hancock's Devil Fruit ability has no effect on monsters.
You may have forgotten, but there was a figure who was with Hancock. That figure was Hancock's personal Snake Weapon, that was Salome.
Before leaving the City, Hancock had made Salome her Pet.
Salome also joined the attack by wrapping around Living Twig's body, although not for too long. But that time was all it took for Hancock and the others to attack the monster.
Sandersonia slashed with her dagger, Marigold thrust with her spear while Hancock kicked with her full strength. The attack in Zoan form and covered with Busoshoku Haki succeeded in injuring the monster.
Living Twig was blown back a few meters and Salome unhooked his body. But unfortunately Living Twig wasn't dead yet, as a result the monster was angry that it had been attacked and rushed towards Hancock and the others.
This monster has low intelligence, and since it is currently in an angry state its attacks are predictable.
Hancock and the others were able to dodge the attacks even though they occasionally still got hit but it was easier now than before.
Living Twig made the tip of his arm sharp and intended to stab Sandersonia. But before that could happen Marigold came blocking the attack using her shield.
Living Twig paused for a moment, Salome took advantage of that to coil again. But not the body of the monster, but the feet of the monster.
The twist at the leg, making Living Twig fall forward. This state of affairs was immediately exploited by carrying out a series of attacks that contained their current full strength.
Soon the monsters were killed and dropping items. Hancock and the others immediately collapsed from exhaustion.
They also deactivate their Zoan form and return to their normal form. The fight just now had only lasted for 1 minute since Sandersonia found the last of the Herbs.
Even if it was only 1 minute, it felt really heavy due to the power difference in their statuses.
They get 40 EXP, the monsters they fight have level 3 and multiplied by 2 because they managed to beat them at night.
Items dropped in the form of a thick branch and a leaf. After being examined, the leaf has the name Chelor Leaf.
They saved it for now to ask Elaina later. After their breathing had stabilized, they got up and headed back to the City.

Walking for a while, they arrived at the gate and saw a different guard when they came out earlier.
Seeing the 3 people approaching, 2 guards stopped the group before entering the city.
"Stop, who are you guys and what's your purpose in coming here?" (Guardian 2)
"We're adventurers who just did a Quest outside the city. This is our Adventurer's Card" (Hancock)
Hancock showed her Cards and was followed by Sandersonia and Marigold. The guard looked at the three Adventurer's Cards in front of him and approved them entering the city.
"You can enter, but why did you only come back when it's already night. You should know that monsters get stronger at night" (Guard 1)
"Hmph, why are you asking so many questions? We are tired and want to rest soon" (Hancock)
""Nee-sama!!!"" (Sandersonia & Marigold)
""We apologize for the attitude of our big sister"" (Sandersonia & Marigold)

"We came back late because the quest we did took longer than we expected. Also a monster appeared so we defeated that monster first" (Marigold)

Gani and Josh were silent, not replying to Hancock's words. Whereas Sandersonia and Marigold were tired of reminding their sister.

Hancock and the others walked into town then walked over to Elaina's Shop.

Sandersonia told what happened earlier while doing the mission. Elaina who heard this only breathed a sigh of relief because the three adventurers in front of her made it back safely.
"Here is the item, check first" (Sandersonia)
"Wait a moment..... The number of items has been reached, you successfully completed the quest" (Elaina)
"Thank you. By the way, do you know what this item is? We got it from that monster" (Sandersonia)
"Hmm... The branches can be used as material for making arrows, while the leaves are ingredients for Speed Potions. I can buy the leaves but it's better to collect more, or I can make Potions but of course you pay me" (Elaina)
"Like that. Thanks for the information, we're leaving first. Wanting to rest soon" (Marigold)
"Bye, don't forget to come here when you need Potions" (Elaina)
The three of them exited the shop and walked towards the Exit Portal. On the way they saw various activities as usual by people outside.
Because there was no difference, they felt that they weren't in the Dungeon. There are also stars and moon in the sky, they don't understand how it works but they don't care either.
Their goal here is to find a drug that can cure the "thing" on their backs.
Walking for a while they came to a Exit Portal and through it. Back in the outside world, they made their way to the Guild to report on the completed Quests.
