20 Chapter 20 Tontatta Tribe

The wind and snow whipped around relentlessly, creating a tempestuous scene in the sky.

Despite the chaotic weather, Dylan had no time to ponder why such conditions prevailed in what should have been the "equatorial" region of the planet.

After several days of waiting, the ship organized by the CP had successfully escorted Bell-mère to the Drum Kingdom.

"Our mission..." The leading CP member began, intending to deposit Bell-mère and depart.

"Where do you think you're going?" Dylan's voice cut through the cold air, his tone sharp. "Do you expect me to carry her myself?"

The CP members fell silent for a moment before gesturing back. They accompanied Dylan as the crew members carried the stretcher up the mountain.

Upon reaching Dr. Kureha's castle, Dylan motioned for the CP members to leave.

Ignoring his gesture, they departed along with the others.

"Is this her?" Dr. Kureha examined the unconscious Bell-mère with a grave expression. "The injuries are quite severe."

Dylan remained silent, observing Dr. Kureha closely. "Can you guarantee a complete recovery without any lingering effects?"

Dr. Kureha paused for a moment before responding, "It will be challenging. She sustained internal organ damage from a powerful Haki attack. Her will to survive is what's keeping her alive."

"I see." Dylan rose from his seat and walked to the window. "I'm heading to the New World and will return in about a month. Will she be stable enough to survive until then?"

"There shouldn't be any issues," Dr. Kureha affirmed. Once assured, Dylan vanished in a flash of lightning, bound for the New World.

Watching the lightning disappear into the distance, Dr. Kureha sighed. "Impressive young man..."

New World, Dressrosa.

Doflamingo, who had just been crowned king, was perusing the newspaper within the confines of his palace.

"Marine Rear Admiral fights solo against Red Hair Pirates in West Blue, resulting in the demise of Red Hair Pirates' third figure, Yasopp."

"He's quite the formidable individual..."

Though lacking an accompanying image, Doflamingo was well aware of the prowess of the Red Hair Pirates. And the man he had encountered once in Demon Valley Town evidently possessed such strength.

"Are you complimenting me?"

A voice interjected, and a man lounged against the palace window sill.

Nearby, Baby 5, resembling a maid, instinctively spun around, her arm morphing into a firearm.

"Stand down!" Doflamingo's command was stern.

BABY5 was initially stunned, then asked in disbelief: "Young Master?"

Dylan glanced at BABY5 and Doflamingo with indifference.

Before Dylan could utter a word, Doflamingo seized BABY5's wrist and pushed the gun's muzzle down. He barked with a scowl, "Step back!"

After BABY5 complied and left, Doflamingo resumed his seat. "So, what brings you here, Vice Admiral Raijin ?"

"Raijin?" Dylan was taken aback.

"Well, it seems you're not aware, Dylan. Your code name is Raijin,."

"Hmph," Dylan regarded Doflamingo. Wasn't this guy originally so audacious that he'd provoke anyone?

"I've come to request someone."

"You want someone?" Doflamingo's expression darkened. "Who exactly are you seeking? I am one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, you..."

Observing Dylan's increasingly frosty demeanor, Doflamingo halted his words: "You're not after my family, are you?"

"What would I want with your family? Give me Mansherry."

"No!"

Doflamingo's veins bulged instantly. "Mansherry is off-limits! She's invaluable to me!"

"Am I negotiating with you? You think your Shichibukai status can truly shield you? You're just a little fledgling playing with life and death!"

Dylan leaped down from the window sill, plunged kitetsu's scabbard into the ground, and smoothly drew the blade.

Doflamingo's breath hitched. This man... he's truly serious!

"The World Government..." Doflamingo began.

"Stop with your damned World Government! You're just a puny brat privy to a speck of a secret." The edge of the Kitetsu blade scraped against the ground, eliciting sparks.

"I'll give you a minute. How about you try seeking aid now? Sengoku? Kaido? Or perhaps Mariejois?"

"Mansherry... you have to return her after you use her," Doflamingo conceded reluctantly, facing Dylan's palpable murderous intent.

"This guy doesn't play by the rules of the game; he's even more outrageous than I am!" Doflamingo muttered. "Are you bargaining with me? What right do you have to negotiate with me?"

Dylan took out a cigarette and lit it. After a puff, he placed the cigarette upside down on top of the cake brought by BABY5. "Time is of the essence. If I don't give you a chance, you won't take it."

Gritting his teeth, Doflamingo shouted towards the door, "Trebol! Bring Mansherry up here!"

Trebol, appearing at the door, peered in and immediately exclaimed, "Dark... Dark Dragon!? Dover..."

"Quickly!" Doflamingo urged.

As the cigarette burned down and Dylan's gaze bore into him, Doflamingo's forehead beaded with sweat.

Just as the sparks threatened to reach the cigarette butt's level, Trebol rolled up a tiny girl to the top.

"You... you..." Mansherry's eyes welled with tears as she looked at Doflamingo.

Even Dylan, consumed by his murderous intent, felt a twinge of sympathy at Mansherry's pitiable state.

He glanced at the trembling Trebol and gently took Mansherry from him. "Can you do me a favor? My friend is severely injured and needs medical attention. She's a Marine, a very compassionate one."

Mansherry clasped her little hands together and looked up at Dylan. "Are you a Marine too? But why..."

"Ah, I am indeed a Marine. In exchange..." Dylan turned his gaze towards Doflamingo. "I knows what you're up to. You can't go through with this deal, and all the innocent people you've deceived and imprisoned will be set free. Put them back."

After a moment's thought, Dylan redirected his attention to Mansherry. "With this guy around, TOTO isn't very safe. Do you have to stay there?"

Dylan nodded firmly. "Are you willing to move? It's safer where I'm stationed."

Doflamingo's eyes blazed with anger as he processed Dylan's words.

This bastard! The small human race is a crucial part of my plan! How dare he interfere!

"What's wrong with me?" Dylan suddenly lifted his head, fixing his gaze on Doflamingo. "Put aside your treacherous intentions and make the most of the fact that I'm not in a terrible mood right now."

For a moment, Doflamingo's facial muscles twitched as if his very being had been hollowed out. He turned to Trebol and commanded, "Bring those little humans up!"

Mansherry wore an expression of incredulity upon hearing Doflamingo's directive. The villain in pink before her was actually willing to let her people go? It seemed the hero who had saved them had arrived!

Flying to Dylan's shoulder, Mansherry clasped her hands together. "You must be the legendary hero who can save the Tontatta Kingdom. Can you tell me your name?"

"My name is Dylan. Adams Dylan," he replied, smiling at Mancherry.

"Dylan Lando, thank you," Mascherry said gratefully.

As the 500 weary little humans were brought into the room and saw Mansherry, they all rushed forward, gathering around her.

Apologies for the oversight. Here's the corrected version:

Dylan nodded resolutely. "Are you willing to relocate? It's safer where I'm stationed."

Doflamingo's eyes blazed with anger as he absorbed Dylan's words.

This scoundrel! The small human race is a vital component of my plans! How dare he meddle!

"What's the matter with you?" Dylan suddenly raised his head, fixing his gaze on Doflamingo. "Set aside your deceitful schemes and take advantage of the fact that I'm not in a terrible mood right now."

For a moment, Doflamingo's facial muscles twitched as if his very essence had been hollowed out. He turned to Trebol and ordered, "Bring those little humans up!"

Mansherry wore a look of disbelief upon hearing Doflamingo's command. The villain clad in pink before her was actually willing to release her people? It seemed their savior had arrived!

Fluttering to Dylan's shoulder, Mansherry clasped her hands together. "You must be the legendary hero who can save the Tontatta Kingdom. Can you tell me your name?"

"My name is Dylan. Adams Dylan," he replied, offering a smile to Mansherry.

"Dylan Lando, thank you," Mansherry said gratefully.

As the 500 weary little humans were ushered into the room and caught sight of Mansherry, they all rushed forward, gathering around her.

Dylan looked up with disdain.

"If some things hadn't been figured out yet, I would kill you right now!"

After following the small humans back to Green Bit, Dylan met Gancho, the leader of the Tontatta tribe, and was warmly received by the tribe.

After the banquet, Gancho sat across from Dylan. After a moment of silence, Gancho said, "Mansherry is right. We do not exist solely within Green Bit. The place where we are is Green Bit. But..."

Gancho's expression turned solemn. "In order to abide by a certain 'promise', we cannot leave here. Therefore..."

Dylan nodded. "That is also your freedom. I have warned Doflamingo. Before I fall, he will not have the guts to attack you again."

"Really... I really appreciate your taking care of us... In that case..." Gancho leaned on his crutches and pondered for a moment before continuing, "We can't guarantee Mansherry's safety for the time being. Let her follow you, and besides..."

Gancho stamped his cane, and the scene fell silent. "Leo, Kabu, Wicca, and Bian, you can go too."

"Follow...Follow Dylan Lando?" Leo's eyes lit up.

"That's right," Gancho nodded, then turned to Dylan. "They are all the best warriors among the youth. In addition to guarding Mansherry, they will also assist you in your mission."

"Ha??" Leo exclaimed in displeasure. "Really, the princess is so willful, has a bad temper, and likes to hit people. Why do we have to do this?"

"Leo!!!" Mansherry rode on Leo's head and punched him. "What are you talking about, Leo!?"

"It hurts, it hurts! Come down quickly, princess, you are too heavy. Really, you are such a savage and mean woman!"

On the coast of Green Bit, Dylan boarded the CP organization's ship with Mansherry, Leo, and the others.

Gancho stood on the shore, leaning on his crutches with both hands, watching the sails as they sailed away.

"Gancho, does this really not violate the 'promise'?" An elderly man with a white beard and hair approached Gancho, peering out at the sea.

Gancho remained silent, his expression hidden behind his sunglasses.
