41. A Preliminary Discussion of World Government and the Great Pirate Era.

"Hahaha~"

"Ron, it seems like you've caused quite a stir among those Marine recruits."

"That's right, Ron really put a damper on those guys this time."

"Speaking of which, this batch of Elite Training Camp is truly inferior to the last one."

"Yeah, back when I first joined the crew, Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru were all as strong as Marine Rear-Admirals while being recruits, and they were also known as Marine Supernovas."

On the Moby Dick, Marco and others looked at Ron playfully and made comments.

They were genuinely pleased with the recent events.

After all, Ron had now truly gained recognition within the Whitebeard Pirates. It could even be said that he was considered the face of the new generation of their crew.

Even Ace, who joined as a supernova, didn't quite match Ron in this regard.

"Ron, we've never heard your perspective before, clarify it for us!"

Ron smiled composedly.

He didn't decline and spoke seriously, "To be honest, if the Marines were an independent institution, then their justice would indeed be commendable.

"Even with some rotten eggs within the Marines, their core values would still hold significance for people worldwide.

"Unfortunately, the Marines are just an organization under the control of the World Government.

"This leads to the fact that the so-called core values of the Marines ultimately serve the will of the World Government.

"And everyone is aware of the deeds of the World Government. Apart from the countries affiliated with the World Government, people from other non-affiliated nations are mere pawns in their eye— ants whose lives and deaths they can control at will."

At this point, Ron paused for a breather before continuing, "The most crucial aspect is that the primary purpose of the World Government is to serve the Celestial Dragons. Frankly speaking, the Celestial Dragons are just a group of parasites.

"The entire Celestial Dragons group controls nearly 99% of the world's resources, wealth, and power.

"According to the information I've heard, when a Celestial Dragon travels, the World Government dispatches the most elite members of the CP agency to accompany them.

"If a Celestial Dragon with considerable influence is present, even a Marine Admiral will personally follow and protect them.

"And under such circumstances, Celestial Dragons act without restraint. The slightest displeasure could result in the killing of people or even the annihilation of an island or a country.

"Even if they are aware that it is an erroneous order, both the World Government and the Marines strictly enforce it.

"Therefore, their so-called justice is primarily justice based on the Celestial Dragons, not justice derived from the well-being of the people worldwide.

"Because of this, in my opinion, their justice is false. If I have to call them anything, I would just call them the Strongest Pirate Crew and Fleet in existence.

After a moment of contemplation, Marco began to speak slowly, "The World Government, the Marines, the Cipher Pol agencies—these guys' notion of justice is entirely based on the desires of the Celestial Dragons, with no consideration for the thoughts and aspirations of the common people.

"This is why countless individuals across the world have taken to the seas and become pirates.

"Especially the Revolutionary Army. It emerged only a little over a decade ago, and now it has spread throughout the world.

"Resistance flourishes where oppression prevails. If people weren't pushed to the brink, who would risk their lives to join the Revolutionary Army or even face death bravely?"

Supporting Marco's sentiment, other DIvision Commanders chimed in one by one.

"Yes, my homeland was an ordinary kingdom. It got obliterated because someone dared to stand in the way of one of the World Nobles."

"My situation is similar. My hometown was massacred because it couldn't pay the Heavenly Tribute."

"Who can deny it? My hometown was quite remote, and there, life used to be tranquil. But one day, a Celestial Dragons' ship arrived, and the island turned into a Celestial Dragons' killing ground. I survived by hiding in a wine barrel and drifting into the sea."

Not surprisingly, everyone shared similar experiences and encounters.

It was almost always due to the Celestial Dragons, the Marines, and the World Government that they faced hardships and ultimately became pirates.

Fortunately, they gained Whitebeard's approval and joined the Whitebeard Pirates. Otherwise, their fate may have been much worse than death.

"Ron, does this have anything to do with the Marines not having good recruits anymore?" Ace suddenly inquired.

He had gone through similar experiences, but in his opinion, the reason for all of his hardships was Roger, the former Pirate King, and his father.

"Absolutely!"

After giving Ace a deep look, Ron continued, "It's precisely because of the false justice of the World Government that countless people feel no sense of belonging or allegiance to them.

"In the past, there was no choice. It was either accepting fate or facing death.

"But with the advent of the Great Pirate Era initiated by the former Pirate King, everything changed.

"Many may think that the start of the Great Pirate Era brought great turmoil and endangered the world.

"But personally, if the Pirate King hadn't initiated the Great Age of Pirates, people would have continued living under the false justice of the World Government. They would either have had to submit or endure exploitation until death.

"With the advent of the Great Pirate Era, people now have a second option; to go to sea and become pirates.

"No matter how many atrocities committed by pirates, it is undeniable that after the Great Pirate Era, the World Government and the Marines can no longer dictate people's lives and deaths recklessly.

"Most importantly, when those at the bottom are truly cornered with no way out, they now have an alternative, a means to survive."

Upon hearing these words, the entire group fell into silence.

Everyone, including Whitebeard, stared at Ron in astonishment. None of them expected Ron to perceive the issue in this way and voice judgments that went completely against the prevailing views of the world!
