10 Ryugu kingdom

during our stay in the royal palace, I got to work on creating weapons of trident, spears, rapier and Estoc(basically longer two handed rapier that can also cut a little). all thrusting weapons with the sharpest of point because In sea combat, thrust weapons are much more efficient in sea combat, as slashing power is reduced in any weapon due to resistance from water.but still I have put jagged edges to increase bleading effect from weapons. all made of sea stone alloys made immensely strong with rune haki(imprinting).

For the royal family I used gold-seastone alloy and much more rune haki, to make them stronger, do more damage and have a morale buff effect(rune haki gets stronger with higher symbolism, gold to represent royalty, increases moral of troops that see it , while sea stone represents the sea,and it's tidal strength) made some more with silver-sea stone, with similar effect to smaller scale for champions and officers of the royal family who lead troops and gaurd the royal family. increasing the strength of ryugu Empire is important to me as a merman. they protect our tribe's throughout the world and are essential to our civilisation.

due to the lineage and upbringing of royal family, their attributes compound with weapons effect of excluding morale buff effect, and similar to champion and officer weapons, they can increase the effects the more it is used in battel with troops who unknowingly will imprint their confidence in royal family and champions upon seeing their great deeds. similarly it will decrease in effect if used by someone incompetent.

my relationship with the royal family has become that of a benefactor and has increased my reputation throughout the kingdom. I've used this to gain the privilege of entering the royal library and scoured through all the books. this allows me to understand the technology and history of one piece world. after reading through the library I realised ryugu kingdom must spies or informants throughout the world as their library is most impressive collection of knowledge throughout the world.

After having dinner with royal family one day, I asked the king about it and he confided in me that Brave mermaids who have their legs split at 30 and look human enough, are spread through the world in disguises ranging from diplomats and scholars to common folk acting as great information network and gatherers of knowledge. not all this knowledge is useful and a lot of it is repeatative sure to same information and knowledge coming from different kingdoms.

Even some women of my tribe for rays who look human are responsible for any knowledge gained from country of wano . due to their Asian traits because of breading with local humans throughout history, my ancestors could integrate themselves into the country and even hold high ranking position without anyone being any wiser about their race.that was how my tribe started sea stone smithing.

during my stay here I also made sure to tame and take forms of many creatures such as cuttlefish for their hypnosis ability and nautilus for their extreamly complex and powerful sense of smell that they use their hundreds of tentacles to achieve, the longest time spent on any creature here was a sea snake as this was my first time taking a reptilian form. I can focus to make my hybrid form more like merfolk or more like minks and fishman.

i can already manipulate lighting due to electric ray form , wind with bat mink form ,fire by using both wind and electricity with ripple(martial arts) as discovered by safyre and water as merman, I hope I can manipulate earth after taking more snake forms and increase affinity to wind with bird forms(birds are reptilian).I also plan on taking form of other burrowing animals to increase my earth manipulation. I can already spout poison and use it in various ways due to taking form of various poisonous and venomous creatures.i also took form of bullet shrimp and mantis shrimp, which has increased my understanding of ripple martial arts so much that I can create shockwave in form of bullet ,earlier it used to focus on bypassing defences while now I can just penetrate those defences as well.

during this time elektra and safyre, both spent months taking on white Den den mushi form due to being so genetically disconnected and relatively weaker ability to climb the food chain.we can now telepathically talk to each other, and call other Den den mushi but not other beings. when combined with observation haki, it can allow us to read surface thoughts of others, even animals but nothing deeper. I'm guessing that to actually read mind I would have to take over more species of Den den mushi , especially the black Den Den mushi as it deals with interception of brain waves rather than just emitting and receiving them.

during our intimate sessions, we constantly use this telepathic bond to increase pleasure and train this telepathy. after learning use of electro in medicine from the minks, elektra has even started doing a massage which in which use controls patients'own body's natural bio electricity to simulate muscle and use the patient's own muscle as medium to message even bones. needless to say she has improved upon it after learning of pleasure massages in red light district of fishman island. although she usually practices it in her blowjob , hand job and fingering(herself and safyre) repertoire, she can even use this to massage veins and arteries to clear any clots and even directly use in organs to cure clogged heart or kedney stone or verity of other problems. directly massaging the fats through muscles will cause that them to reduce till it disolve into blood and comes out in urine.

And this is all considering its a new technique, what all could it achive after we have put more research and time into it. i get elektra to teach it to both me and safyre. Sirahoshi has a special power of communicating with sea kings, which I have been trying to replicate but it seems that defeating and taming is necessary in my case. after meditating with her I realise that it is not a problem at my end, sea kings are territorial and lonesome creatures, even if I can understand them they would still not communicate just for the fact that they don't want to. sirahoshi seems to be able to compel them due to some mermaid Princess helping the sea kings in the very past. it makes sense as sea kings can communicate among themselves but seldom do so due to their lonesome and unsocial nature.

during my stay here, I've gotten close to the royal family and me and king Neptune have been sparing every week. at first I was trailing a little behind due to lack of experience but as the weeks turned into months, I started to win more often in our spars. with my kraken or megalodon form, I'm equivalent to an ancient Zoan in strength,which is near yanko's commander level strength, and could defeat one if I can get an ambush on them befor,but after training with king Neptune and his brood, I filled the gaps in my fighting style and could Handel atleast one yanko commanders or 4 vice admiral's at once in w straight up fight.

Neptune himself had improved a lot as, early during my stay here we figured out that he has a back injury, and it affected his capabilities to great extent. at this time I could give him a challenge in my whale shark merman form but still not best him due to almost all of my fights before being me ambushing my foe or have my partner's support me, but after Elektra created the massage techniques,I used it on Neptune with observation and rune haki to pinpoint the problem, get rid of it and imprint it to become stronger to support the new healed tissue untill it can support itself, if it was not treated then his strength would drastically decrease in just a couple of years. after that his strength also increased to what it used to be when he was called the great knight of the sea. he even said that he felt younger as if he had gained some lost vitality.

after this Neptune would mostly just beat me up due to not using kraken or megalodon form but soon as I got better at channeling formless will power,I could acess more and more of my kraken and Megalodon form's strength, endurance and senses in any form ,I started turning the tide of the batte, it even increased my base strength, which in turn increases my upper limit from kraken and Megalodon forms. during last 4 months of my year long stay here even his sons had to join his side and gang up on me to maintain some sense of challenge. Neptune is easily yanko commander level while his sons are captain of Marines level.

after this productive and relaxing year at fishman island ,I'm already 15 and half years old. I have already overstayed my time here due to how welcoming the royals were after I started supplying sea stone weapons, and how much sparing with Neptune has helped me.my first preference is still ambush but atleast I don't have to worry about standing my own in a genuine bout of fighting. we've already prepared for this for months. I'll be leaving for marineford to try for apprenticeship with vegapunk, while my girls will roam the ocean. my sea monsters(kraken and Megalodon) have befriended sirahoshi and I've asked them to protect her and ryugu nation.megalodon has even taken a liking toher young pet( who is also a megalodon but much smaller and presumably much younger). while most of my combat or utility fishes will go with my girls.

any constructive criticism is most welcome as this is my first time writing any story,

this was supposed to be a brain fart that wouldn't let me sleep until I atleast spread the idea of exploiting lineage factor on a fanfiction website.

also I have a question for veteran authors out there-

how do you keep yourself from just skiping the story to the parts where you already have exciting stuff planned. cause i have a lot of things my brain needs to poop out but they will not even be relevant until after a few chapters, and they have me so exited that it is hampering my ability to write any chapters befor it.
