5 Chapter 4: Levels and Power ups

I was now still in front of everyone still thinking of my master plan. I decided what I am about to do is for the benefit of the crew. "Also I am going to be straight up with everyone I can see everyone's level and powers." Everyone was shocked but Albedo was the first to speak "How is that possible?" I then decided to lie because I was not going to tell them it was a system. "It is because of my eyes I can get a general idea of people's power it only tells me there level and powers not how they use them and not what they specialize in. However I think my analytical skills are pretty good." Everyone was just nodding along.

"Anyways I have some fruits in this chest. Some of you can eat some to gain powers and some of you can't." Ruby surprisingly spoke "Why can only some of us eat them." I nodded "great question. Well you see the price of getting powers from these fruits is that you are no longer able to swim and a certain stone will make you instantly weak." Ruby nodded her head and started to think if she still wanted to swim. Plus honestly some of you I can tell don't need them.

I then continued "Anyways (I opened the chest) the fruits are Hell hell fruit paramecia Shade shade fruit logia Jag Jag fruit zoan Bullet bullet fruit paramecia Copy copy fruit paramecia ash ash fruit logia Cthulhu Cthulhu mythical zoan. I will now explain the different versions a logia is like the fruit I ate they are extremely rare. But before I explain I need someone to eat one. I looked around and thought of someone who could make use of it. Now just based off everyone's level and powers I think Soul you should eat the Shade Shade fruit." Soul looked over at the fruit "Will it mess with my transformation of turning into a scythe?" I shook my head no and he shrugged an ate it like it was a soul.

The look of disgust on his face was hilarious. I couldn't help but snicker. "That was the most disgusting thing I have ever ate." Soul said in complete disgust. I then said "Anyways Soul come here so I can explain Logia fruits." Soul then came over and stood next to me. "Now everyone watch this. Also Soul trust me on this and don't move." Soul just nodded. I then swung with all my strength at Souls head and my fist went right through. "As you can see he can not be physically hurt unless other powers are involved however." I then activated my armament haki and swung with less power at him. I still hit him in the face and he went flying for a bit before hitting a rail on the ship. "If you all learn armament haki it won't matter and your punches or kicks will land."

Everyone started to clap as I did a bow. Soul got up and started to rub his face. He then swung at me and his fist went right through me. I shook my head "You have to learn armament haki first buddy." I then told him to get by the rest. "But Soul the cool thing is now when you are in weapon form fighting when someone is about to block you, you can still go through there weapon and hit them. However this will not stop you from blocking Maka from damage as you will learn armament haki and can still block." Soul for a little excited at this and started to think of the possibilities.

Now there is also fruits called Zoan fruits. These allow you to transform into the animal or monster of the fruit you ate. "Ruby." I said looking at the cute red hooded girl. She jumped a bit and said "Yes." Still shy of everyone. I then said "I know you are already fast but if you were to eat the Jag Jag fruit it would make you faster fro sure." Ruby looked at the fruit and said "Well I'm fine with getting faster and losing the ability to swim but (she turned to soul) will it taste as bad as he said. I shook my head no "Zoan fruits are known to taste like cookies." I felt bad for lying but it was the only way to make sure she would eat it.

She then had big stars in her eyes and snatched the fruit from my hands and took a bite and swallowed. She then got on both her hands and knees. She then started to shake "Why did you lie." She got really serious and for some reason it made me take a step back. She then unconsciously activated her fruit only to her legs. She was already a natural. She dashed to me and grabbed my shirt. "You owe me cookies now." I started to sweat. I then just nodded my head yes and she backed away in line. I let out a sigh of relief and got back to my confident self to explain some more to people.

I continued "The next fruit are paramecia fruits which just give you powers. Such as shooting flames out of your hands or your whole body becomes made of rubber." Everyone nodded and followed along. I nodded and said "Now from what I can tell the only people who should not eat the fruits are Touka, Maka, and Albedo. Unless you three want to but all three of you already have powers meanwhile Yukihira, KoKo and Yoshino don't and I think I have the perfect fruits for you three." They all perked up at this. I then said "However the choice is ultimately up to all of you as I'm not against all of you eating one."

Touka was the first to speak. "Do you know what I am Ban." I nodded my head yes and said "That is why I think you do not need one." She just nodded her head. She got some looks for asking that but everyone already knew we came from different worlds I mean Albedo has horns. I then continued "Maka I think you could work on your soul energy and it could be more effective then the fruits." Maka thought for a moment "Yeah that's fine Soul has one anyways and I think I could work with his when he becomes my scythe." I nodded my head and then said "Albedo you are already the second strongest here and you have a ton of magic so I think it's unnecessary." Albedo nodded and said "Well at least for a human you appear intelligent." I just thought it my head 'Well I can probably make you love me even though I am human.'

I then turned to Yukihira, KoKo and Yoshino. "You three are the weakest on the ship so I think it's important for all three of you to have a Devil fruit. I can give you all suggestions on the three or you can just go to the one that calls to you. Except for you Yukihira." Yukihira then had a question face and said "Why can I not pick." I shook my head "because unlike these two geniuses. You are not the brightest." He didn't say anything after that as he must have been smart enough to think I can check through my eyes.

"KoKo come over here." She started to walk over to the chest and stared at the fruits. She then asked me what each one did and what type of fruit they were. When I mentioned the bullet bullet fruit she immediately grabbed it and took a bite. She didn't show any reaction and then turned towards the sea and made a pistol like shape with her hand and pretended to fire. A bullet then came out and went into the sea. She got super excited and started to jump up and down and hugged me. She then said "This is going to be so much fun. I can not wait to mow people down." I smiled at what she said and just nodded.

"Yoshino it's your turn." He was listening the whole time I was talking to KoKo so he went straight fro the fruit he wanted. He took a bite out of the copy copy fruit and just shrugged when he tasted it. I had a feeling he would take that one. " I know you are probably upset in this world but we have to try and make the best of it." I said to him. He then said "The beginning is the end, and the end is the beginning. Well then, let us begin again. And to each, their own tale." I put on a smile "Still this beginning could be a start to an awful and long tragedy with no way back or no real rhyme or reason. All just an act for someone else to enjoy." He then smiled back and said " Everything happens for a reason. The daily tragedies and misfortunes are all meaningful events, leading toward an ideal conclusion. With that in mind, there probably isn't really any meaningless misfortune." I put on an even bigger smile and said "You might already be my best friend here."

Yoshino put on another smile "Time is out of joint so anything can happen."
