49 New Paths Forward

Soon she finally calmed down after everything was finally finished while I watched Arlong Park burning in the background.

"C'mon kid it's time we go back and tell everyone the good news." She just nods as she wipes away her tears before following after me as we head towards her home.

About an hour later we finally arrive at her house which is the house that over looks the tangerine orchard.

"Nojiko! I'm home! I've brought company and some good news!" She shouts out to her sister as she takes off her shoes and runs off to the kitchen where she can smell food being made.

I just smile slightly as I take off my shoes and walk into the living room and sit down on the recliner.

"What is it Nami? Can't you see I'm busy preparing dinner?" (Nojiko) 12

Nami just smiles as she grabs her sister and hugs her and begins to twirl her around all happy like.

"What's gotten in to you that your so happy Nami?"

"Arlong…. He's gone for good Nojiko! The town and the whole island is free of his tyranny!"

"Wait what?!?!? Arlongs gone?! What do you mean by that?" She says bewildered at the news.

"Ask our guest, you won't believe who it is that came all the way to deal with Arlong for us!" She says as she drags Nojiko out of the kitchen and into the living room to see a handsome flaming haired man relaxing in there recliner.

"Wait…. It cant be…. Are you, Firebrand Vargas?!" She shouts in pure shock at seeing me in her house.

"The one and only, you should be happy because Arlong is gone for good." I say as I give the throat slitting motion.

"He's dead?"

"Mhmm and I helped her get her vengeance personally."

When Nojiko hears that, she gets pissed and jumps on top of me grabbing at my shirt collar, "You made her do what!!"

"I helped her and you get revenge on your mother's death, I didn't kill Arlong, I helped her kill him…" I say as I gently grab her hands and remove them from my shirt.

She just shakes my hands away before getting off me and turning away from me, "You shouldn't have forced her to do that!"

"Then would you two been satisfied if I just outright killed him and just had her watch? Would either of you been satisfied with that kind of ending? Or if given the chance would you kill him yourselves?"

"….."

"Sis…. He didn't force me to…. He gave me the choice and I chose to take the gun, even if I couldn't pull the trigger…. He helped me remember that he took away what was precious to us and that I don't wish to see him still in this world….. so I did it of my own free will."

"... *sigh* …. Thank you for what you've done for us, and for my sister…" she says as she turns and bows her head to me.

"It's nothing Nojiko, I was just doing it not just because of a favor but I honestly hate seeing people being suppressed by others if it's not deserved."

"Well if my mother was still alive she would have thanked you for what you've done for us."

"So what are you girls gonna do now? Even though you're still kids now that your not under the thumb of Arlong you can do anything now, though I still don't understand why Arlong wanted you to work for him Nami?"

"He only wanted me for my skills, I've always dreamed of mapping the whole world and seeing all the sights there are to see, but since he knew I was great with maps he kept me locked up most of the time just to keep drawing up more maps for him to use to easily strike other islands without needing to use ships since there FishMan after all…"

"And all I want to be is a great chef with my own restaurant when I grow up…. But with Mom gone I have to take over the Tangerine Orchard since it's all I have left of her besides this house…" Nojiko says sadly.

"Well if you kids want I can help you guys achieve your dreams, and have your orchard and home as well as your village under my protection, after all the Marines or other pirates wouldn't attack any place I say has my protection after all I am one of the warlords of the sea."

"Really?! I can go out and see the world!" Nami seemed very eager to go out and see the rest of the world.

"Well I dunno…. Can you really help me become a great chef?"

"Of course, I may not be a master chef but no one would doubt me if I said I was an expert in the field of cooking, and if you ever get better at cooking than me, I have a guy who can teach you both how to cook and how to make delicious sweets."

The girls both look at each other and talk through there eyes, after roughly 5 minutes of back and forth with hand gestures and the like they looked back at me.

"We accept those terms under the condition you have some people take care of this place as well as protect the village." (Nojiko)

"That's fine by me, so long as you sign this contract saying about what I'm about to talk about and show you can never be told to anyone that isn't close to me ok?"

They both nod there heads and take in the light saying they accept the contract, so I told them everything about my powers and what I can truly do to bring out there full and future potential sooner, as well as explaining my summons and how they will be protecting the village and they are.

Mifune.

"Alright gentlemen your job is simple, all type guys need to do is defend this village and take care of Nami and Nojiko's orchard while there away on adventures with me and the rest of my crew, got it?"

"Seems easy enough." (Leon)

"Fine." (Mifune)

"This place does have meat at least right?" (Zaza)

"Yes this village has a butcher and a fishery for all your meat needs Zaza."

"Alright! Don't worry Captain I'll protect this village with all I got!" He says while slightly salivating at all the meat he'll be able to eat."

"How uncouth." (Mifune)

"Ahh?! What was that wide brim?"

"Alright boys that's enough your making me look bad in front of the Captain!" (Leon)

"... You really brought out a ragtag group of guys to protect are village….. are you sure there the best options to protect this town?" (Nojiko)

"Hey, they maybe a ragtag group of guys but let's just say that there strong enough to protect this village without making people fear coming here because of some scary strong Pirates ruining the other businesses in town."

"Well at least there interesting bunch that everyone will come to like eventually."

"But let's go out and tell the town the good news, and tomorrow I'll take you girls out to see the world, and start your training to get strong as well since you should know better than anyone that this world is run on strength."

They both nod at me and after that all 6 of us leave there house and head to town to tell them the good news.

The next day, Morning.

After getting the ship resupplied by the very thankful villager, and hoisting my Jolly Roger above the town , the girls waved goodbye to there hometown as we began to head out to sea.

"Nami when your a bit older I'll gift you this."

I say as I show her my JS Compass, "This here will lead you to almost anything in this world, the only thing it can't lead you too is the one piece, but if it's anything else it will lead you right to it."

"Even places that no one else has ever discovered before? Or even buried treasure!"

"Mhmm after all you'll be my navigator, and a true navigator needs the best tool for the job, and a compass that leads you anywhere is the best tool for an up incoming world class navigator."

"…. I promise I won't let you down Captain!"

"And Nojiko from now on your apprentice to me in the kitchen for the time being as I can see you out classing me when it comes to making dishes in the future, that's how much potential I see in you, and once you surpassed me I'll show you to a true master chef and see if he'll teach you for a time."

"Understood Captain!"

"Now then I better call my sea beast so we can get back to my home faster, *OOOOOOOOAAAAAAAOOOOOO*" not long after the sea serpent Yuda surfaced by my ship, which scared the girls at first.

"Aww don't be scared of him, he's friendly, see come here Yuda!" And the Yuda comes over to me and rubs its hairy head all over me, "See?"

They cautiously approach and began to pet him which he enjoyed and licked there faces which soon got covered in slobber.

They were both happy and grossed out from all the slobber on them, luckily I had some towels to clean them off.

"Alright Yuda enough fun and games, set sail for home!"

A few days later, Amazon Lily.

"Why did you bring some kids here? I mean Sugar was because of a deal you made but I don't see the point in having them here." (Hancock)

"Honey they may look like kids right now but what I see is a future world class navigator and treasure hunter, and her sister being a world class cook."

"But you have the compass, why would you need a navigator?"

"Because I'm giving it to her when she's older, sure following the compass gets me where I need to go, but I'm no navigator ok? If a compass that points you to where you want to go and a navigator that can get you to your destination in the quickest way possible were brought together you'd get?"

"…. The fastest speeds possible to reach your destination in no time flat?"

"Yep and that's why I need her, and her sister well I do love to cook for everyone, and I'm not saying I will stop but my skills in cooking have already peaked and even if I was trained under the best of the best I would only get slightly better but Nojiko here is an amazing chef and she's only 12 imagine what she'll be like in 10 years, we'd have a world class chef working for us."

"Well….. ok I guess that makes sense, but they will have to spend most the time on the Isle of Man after all so they don't get in the way of our alone time."

"That's fine I was planning to do that anyway I just wanted them to meet everyone so they know who there dealing with, I'm gonna bring them to meet the rest of the crew and we'll… the Dressrosa girls as well I guess…"

Both Viola and Monet were still trying to get my attention/affection but seeing as they were lying through there teeth still about wanting to be with me has made them a bit unattractive in my eyes, only slightly, but it's enough that I don't take them seriously when they try to do anything sexy like, but I think I'll have to put both of them in there place soon enough….

Not long later, the Isle of Man, My HQ.

I was showing the girls around my head quarters and where they'll be living for the mean time, but they met someone I didn't really want them to meet.

"Ohh look here! There's some kids just like me here now! Yay!" Sugar said all excited like, since they have met now I decided to be somewhat nice and introduce them.

"Sugar this is Nami and Nojiko, they are my future Navigator and Chef for my crew, and this is Sugar she is actually apart of the Doflamingo family and due to certain reasons I have decided to train them in the Frontier as well."

"Hello Nami, Nojiko, you girls want to be my friends?" She says as she holds out her hands for them to shake on, but I saw that she was about to do something that I wouldn't want her to do, so I near instantly appeared behind her and placed my hand on her head and rapped my fingers on her head.

"Sugar….. you wouldn't be thinking about doing something you know your gonna regret, right?"

She flinches and then puts down her hands, ".... I'm sorry….." she says in a rather huffy but slightly scared tone.

"You know what happened last time you used your ability on a member of my crew right?" I say as I flex my other hand and begin to super heat it up.

She instantly grabs her butt and begins to make a break for it with tears streaming down her eyes, "I'M SORRRRRRYYYYYYY!!!!!!" She screams as she runs from me.

"GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT!!!" I say as I chase after her leaving both Nami and Nojiko to themselves.

"...…. Should we really have come here?" (Nojiko)

"... I dunno, but it does seem that our time here will be interesting after all."

" OW OW OW OWWIE!!!! I SAID IM SORRY!!!!" They could here Sugar screaming as she was getting spanked for her misbehaving.

".... I guess it is a bit interesting after all, c'mon Nami I'll race you around the island!" Nojiko says as she sprints off.

"Hey! No fair! Wait for me!" Nami says as she follows after her sister, laughing and having fun just like the old days.
