Midnight....
When all the members of the Donquixote Family were asleep, Lepus was still awake.
'It's time....'
Leaving Brisa who was fast asleep, Lepus then opened the gap and looked for Corazon's room.
After arriving at Corazon's room, Lepus then made a tear and came out.
Meanwhile, sensing that someone else had suddenly appeared in his room, Corazon immediately opened his eyes and woke up alert. Then he saw a figure that seemed faintly visible in the darkness.
"Heya.... Good evening, Corazon-san. Did I disturb your sleep?"
Hearing the voice of a figure speaking, Corazon then recognized that this figure was Lepus. The boy who had just joined the Donquixote Family since this night.
Corazon remains on guard also wondering how Lepus got into the room that he's obviously locked. Also, why did he come to his room in the middle of the night like this.
"...."
"Corazon-san, you must be wondering how I got into your room, right?"
Then Lepus swung his arm tearing the space to open the gap and entering it.
"Please in...."
Seeing what Lepus did, Corazon was shocked! He didn't think Lepus could do something like that! Then, still wary and cautious, Corazon stepped into the space tear.
After Corazon entered, Lepus closed the gap.
"Alright. Corazon-san, 'we' can talk now."
Lepus emphasized the word 'we' because he knew the real Corazon/Rosinante situation.
"...."
But Corazon remained silent.
"Rocinante-san, I know you can talk. Don't worry, there's no need to act mute. We're safe in this space of mine."
With some hesitation, Rocinante spoke.
".... You.... How did you know?"

Lepus then grinned.
"I know you're pretending to be mute. I know you're pretending to be clumsy and acting stupid. I also know your past. I know you're actually a member of Marine and Sengoku's direct subordinate. I know you possess the power of the Nagi-Nagi no Mi. I know why you're going back to your brother.... Don't ask me how could I know all of that. Trust me, you'll get stressed and go crazy if you know."
"You!"
Rosinante was surprised that Lepus could know so much about him.
"Now.... I came to meet you in the middle of the night when everyone else was asleep, because I had some things I wanted to talk to you about."
"What do you want?"
"A deal."
"A deal?"
"Right. Silent agreement actually."
"What do you mean?"
"We shall not interfere and hinder each other for our respective purposes."
"Hm? I don't understand."
Rocinante was a little confused by the meaning of the deal from Lepus. Lepus then said.
"You went back to your brother in try to catch him and stop him. You're also often rough to kids because you want them to go away and stay away from the Donquixote Family to avoid them getting a bad influence. Right?"
"You know that far?"
"Yeah. And my goal in joining the Donquixote Family is the same as I said at dinner. To be stronger and because I'm curious and felt interested."
"You serious about that goal?"
"Yeah. So, I want you to not interfere and prevent me from achieving my goals. And me too, won't interfere and hinder your goals. That's the whole point of our agreement."
