8 Chapter 7: The Shadow Kage Part 2

Previously,

Pain: "Master, I feel like we are being watched."

"Then let's pick up the pace as I would rather arrive at the main event under my own terms."

Pain: "Right!"

Pain held my arm as he body flickered us towards the castle.

~Moria POV~

"My shadows have picked up the movements of the pirates that we captured earlier, they tried to hide but nothing can escape my notice on my ship Thriller Bark. The little kid looks especially weak but the person next to him seems to be extremely powerful. I believe I have found the perfect shadow for my strongest creation and it is coming to deliver itself to me. I can't wait, kishishishishishishishi!"

~Outside the castle~

The Figures of drake and Pain stopped in front a large door, from a close inspections the castle looked newly made.

"Let's head inside, I want to find the control room as soon as possible."

Pain: "Understood master."

The petrols had quantity but didn't look that strong and even walked slow. Any person with legs could outrun them. Feeling that I was a little annoyed, Pain picked up the speed as we searched each room of the castle. From different empty rooms to guarded hallways the castle would have taken a long time to find the room with need It all started to get redundant, their were only bricks and carpet with no furniture.

"Who would want to waste this space?"

Pain: "A King not worthy of his crown."

Moria: "Who do you think you are insulting me in my own domain, for compensation I will take your shadows kishishishishishishi!.

Through the use of what seemed to be a devil fruit a giant pair of black scissors appeared from his shadow which he then used as a weapon while charging towards us.

Moria: "I'm a warlord while one of you are still in diapers but I can tell the other one is strong, perfect for my oars project."

Pain: "Don't insult my master, almighty push!"

A strong repulsion force crashed onto Morria's body as he was getting pushed back.

Moria: "Why would you call this weak twerp your master, I'll crush him until you couldn't recon..."

Without even being able to complete his sentence was punched by Pain who was using his mechanical arm.

"Don't mess with the akatsuki pirates and I as we will conquer these seven seas!"

I wholeheartedly declared that with the akatsuki as my strength, I could make it in this world. The loud declaration resounded within the entire of Thriller Bark making everyone here it, along with feeling an oppressive force that felt like it was attacking their very will, conqueror's haki. It is highly known that those who have ambition and pursue their ideals will have a higher chance at unlocking conqueror's haki which uses ones will to attack another. Looking around, Moria was astonished at how a little boy could unlock haki.

Moria: "Who or what are you!?"

Going along with the moment I stated with confidence,

"I'm Drake D Dawn, captain of the akatsuki pirates and the future pirate king. The one beside me is my 'first mate' pain and he is stronger than me but not for much longer."

Listening to my response, Moria began to question life and what he knew, but being a warlord gave him the experience to compose himself

Moria: "Kishishishishi, pirate king, you won't last until tomorrow. More like a king that would never be able to claim his crown. For making me laugh how about this, you, pain right? If you join me, I won't take either of your shadows and you will be my servant. Pretty good right to be under the great Moria and not this little twerp."

Now that he insulted me two times it was time to let him feel pain!

"GO AHEAD PAIN!"

"Understood, You shall feel masters pain! Almighty push!"

This ability that flattened the hidden life in the Naruto world was now unleashed onto Moria's face and the rest of the surroundings. The trees were blown away and the castle got dismantled while were we stood turned into a crater. Moria tried to pull something by attacking with his shadow scissors but couldn't stop the attack from continuing.

~In the distance far away~

Sasori so the huge destruction and recognised it as one of Pain's attacks.

Sasori: "Someone must have gotten pain made and he only gets made when it involves master. I will poison every single enemy I meet without a second thought. I dare anyone on this ship to try to attack masters ship!"

~Back to MC~

'Good thing Pain acted as a shield for me, otherwise I would end up like Moria there.'

As the smoke cleared, Moria wasn't anywhere to be seen. Through closer observation there seemed to be a hole that leads to a chamber. Inside was a flattened Moria, weird corpse tiger, a clown girl and a scientist. Behind them was the regular zombies and a much bigger one that looked like a giant demon. It was stationary and felt almost alive. In a few moments, Moria's shadow started to act alive and pull him out, while the rest crowded him.

"Are you pirates or a clown circus because all of you make up a bad joke."

Not even caring to listen to me, they all stared at their 'fallen captain'.

Moria: "THAT TWERP!"

Doctor Hogback: "MASTER MORIA!"

Perona: "Are you okay master Moria!?"

Absalom: "Who managed to do this?" 'I better slip out, good thing I ate the clear clear fruit and can turn invisible.'

Looking down beside him, Moria began to laugh.

Moria: "Kishishishishi, you believe you won! I may have had a minor set back but I managed to get myself your shadow. LOOK DOWN!"

Pain and myself looked down and what I saw was that Pain's shadow was gone. Looking at what Moria had in his hand, it looked like a shadow figure of pain.

Moria: "Through all your struggles, I will still be able to finish project oars."

Without a moment to process the sudden development, I watched as Moria as he ran towards the giant demon corpse and start to stuff Pain's shadow inside.

'So that's how he made the zombies.'

Although nothing happened at first, the corpse began to move. A large hand was planted on the ground as the corpse started to stand up. It opened its eyes to reveal the rinnegan and stood motionlessly like he was waiting for something. Not waiting for a moment, Moria pulled a cloth on oar's stomach to reveal a compartment with a seat which he immediately sat upon.

Moria: "Now my servant has your first mates powers, and I the great Moria will have gained greater strength to make myself the pirate king! oars, attack your former owner and the little twerp."

Oar's didn't move

Moria: "Obey me, I am your king. The king of shadows!"

Oars: "You aren't my master..."

Moria: 'I guess the original owner of the shadow was more loyal to that twerp than I expected, I'll just have to wait until that will weakness.' "I don't mind waiting oars but you will sercombe to my influence."

'What is even happening, did he have control of the zombie or not? At least we're up here.'

Pain: "Watch out!"

The sneaky tiger corpse that made himself invisible decided to bear it's fangs and push me down, which Pain intercepted taking the fall instead while holding Absalom. With a loud crash, a crack was made on the floor.

Moria: "While I wait, destroy that extra."

Doctor Hogback: "Zombies attack!"

Perona: Although your kind of cute with that bad boy poles you have on you body, I have to end you Horo-horo-horo-horo-horo! Don't even think of a chance to win, I ate the hollow hollow fruit which allows me to gain the powers of a ghost. Negative hollow!"

With both the charging zombies and hollows heading towards pain, I started to panic while I noticed Pain tense up.

Pain: "You almost hurt my master!"

???: "...You almost hurt my master!"

Pains voice held within it a threat and a death wish. But the one that spoke along with Pain was none other than Oars.

Pain/Oars: "I will end all of you!"

Pain began a destructive taijutsu battle against the oncoming enemy while Oars mimicked the same moves but along with his larger body held greater strength with each impact. Each zombie was getting pulverized, but since their shadows hadn't been extracted they were forced to keep standing up and feeling pain. The duo also had so much malice for the enemy that the negative hollows that would usually make a person depressed were overwritten.

Moria: "aaaaaaah!"

'How do I get the shadows out? It has something to do with salt. Maybe they can't eat it. I remember in my from somewhere that salt could purify, in that context to could purify the dead.'

"Pain use the sea water on the zombies to free the shadows!"

Pain immediately took out the bottles he previously filled with sea water and poured them onto the ground, then beginning to weave hand seals. I began to recall that those with the rinnegan have a high affinity to all the elements including water. Finishing his hand seals, Pain attacked.

Pain: "Water-style: Water dragon jutsu!"

A large water dragon was formed from the sea water and began to wipe out the enemy. each zombie that was soaked had a shadow come out of it. The battle was already over with all the enemies knocked out and Moria was throwing up from his wild ride.

[Hidden Mission complete: Defeat a kage]

[Reward: one devil fruit extractor]

The same light particles emerged from nowhere and materialised a syringe with a clear liquid.

"When did I defeat a kage? All that we defeated were the clowns down their."

[Host has defeated a kage as Moria was in possession of the shadow shadow fruit or with another name Kage Kage fruit.]

'At Least I could get a powerful devil fruit.'

I managed to get to Moria who was incapacitated by Pain and Oars while holding my syringe. Without holding back, I plunged it into his body. Moria started to squirm and with a shock throughout his body, he began to glow which seemed to have caused him pain. When he finished glowing a fruit materialised next to him and he was now dead. I headed over and took a bite. It was disgusting as if I ate death. A strange energy formed from within me as I felt i knew every aspect of my new powers and give off more conquers haki which caused pain to kneel before me.

I walked over to oars and shoved sea water into its mouth causing Pain's shadow to escape and the large corpse to stop moving. The shadow then reconnected to Pain thus making him whole.

"From this day, I shall be the shadow kage Drake D Dawn and leader of the akatsuki pirates. The akatsuki's main goal in the future would be to make me the king of the pirates and the whole world shall submit."

Pain: "Yes master, I shall strive to help achieve your goal of becoming pirate king along with the rest of the akatsuki."

'A shadow will rise and a new dawn will consume the world and force the heavens to fear the akatsuki's strength and by heavens I mean the fake gods who aren't even close to saints. I will steal their imaginary crown and envelope this world. The shadow kage rises today.'
