Becoming a God

Flare entered the room and took a seat in front of the ancient one. Both girls sat down as well, looking at the weird bald woman in front of them.

Flare: "Hello ancient one, my name is flare."

Ancient One: "Flare..... before you continue, I'd like to ask you a question."

Flare: "Sure."

Ancient One: "Who are you? I can't see neither your past nor your future. I can't see it for those women as well..... are you some sort of dimension traveller?"

Flare: "Close, well I'm from another universe. I came here to help stop the invasion."

Ancient One: "I see, that would explain why I can't see anything about you. So why exactly are you here?"

Flare: "Well I had a sort of vison about the future, an evil overlord known as Thanos will come to earth looking for the infinity stones so I was trying to collect them. His plan is to use them to kill half the universe so I can't allow that, I was asking if I could get the time stone since I saw that you had it."

Ancient One: "I know about Thanos wanting to kill everyone already but I haven't been able to see into the future lately as it has been cloudy. Do you have any other infinity stones since you said that you are collecting them?"

Flare: "I already have the space and the mind stone, I know where the rest of the stones are as well but those ones are too difficult to get to currently."

Ancient One: "I will give you the stone on one condition."

Flare: "What might that be?"

Ancient One: "Evil will rise up one day so when that day comes promise me that you will protect earth. I won't be around for much longer and I need someone to help my successor in times of trouble."

Flare: "That won't be too hard, I already protected the planet so I don't have a problem."

Ancient one then smiled as she reached for her necklace. As she took it off it began to float as it opened up revealing the time stone, it floated over to flare as he put it in his inventory.

Flare: "Well now that I have 3 of the infinite stones that means that Thanos will have to go through me before he completes his plan."

Ancient One: "I hope you have the power to defeat him when that day comes."

Flare nodded his head as he got up from his seat. Now that his quest was done he was gonna head to the stark building to meet up with the avengers.

Flare: "Thank you for trusting me, I'm gonna take my leave now. I have some people who have some questions for me."

Ancient One: "It's fine, just remember our agreement."

Flare and the girls walked out of the office and went on the road. As they started walking nojiko decided to speak up.

Nojiko: "Umm flare I wanted to ask who thanos was? You mentioned him when talking to the bald lady."

Flare: "Thanos is a mad space alien that wants to commit mass murder."

Bellmere: "Does he want to destroy the planet?"

Flare: "More like he wants to wipe out half the population of the entire universe."

Bellmere: "T-The entire universe? How big is the universe compared to a planet?"

Flare: "Trust me, I literally can't give you a comparison. The universe is so big that you can't comprehend it."

Nojiko: "And the infinity stones as well, I didn't know that you had more."

Flare: "I didn't want to say anything as yet."

Bellmere: "Who was that woman? you called her ancient one."

Flare: "She is a woman who can use magic, she's basically one of the secret protectors of this earth and the guardian of the time stone. She's actually thousands of years old if I'm not mistaken."

Bellmere: "Wow... she looks nothing like her age."

Flare: "In this universe there are beings older than even the universe itself, her lifespan is nothing compared to those beings."

Nojiko: "T-This universe seems more dangerous than our own."

Flare: "Well it depends, anyways let head back."

Flare: 'Sigh, and the bloodline.'

Flare coughed as he heard the bloodline he just received, he kinda found it a bit funny considering he had watched the animated series just before going to the one piece world. He had quicksilver which was a weaker flash but now he got viltrumite which was a weaker kryptonian. Flare shook his head as he made a gate to the stark tower and he and the girls teleported there. When he arrived he saw all the avengers sitting down and talking to a dark skinned man with a black eye patch, they noticed him and looked at him.

Flare: "Sorry for popping up without notice."

Captain America: "No problems, we were waiting for you anyways. Well flare we wanted to ask you some questions."

Flare: "Sure, go ahead."

Captain America: "Firstly.... how did you transform into that massive dragon?"

Flare: "It's one of my powers."

Stark: "What exactly are you? you had 12 black wings the last time I saw you."

Flare: "Well I'm a fallen angel, well half fallen angel."

Natasha: "Fallen angel? as in the ones from the bible?"

Flare: "Yup, my dad was human but my mom was a fallen angel..... well technically I'm not even from this universe."

Stark: "Wait....WHAT!"

Flare: "I'm not from this universe."

Stark: "So that means that the multiverse theory is right after all."

Flare: "Yup, I just happened to appear in the midst of the invasion and decided to help out."

Captain America: "Well thanks for the help, you're really strong."

Flare: "Oh you have no idea."

Fury: "So what was your motive for coming to our universe?"

Flare: "Well I was bored so I decided to travel the multiverse."

Fury: "Y-You travel universes for fun?"

Flare: "Yea... what's wrong with it?"

Fury: "I-I.....nevermind."

Flare: "Well anyways if that's all then I'll be on my way."

Fury: "Wait! Can I ask you for a favor?"

Flare: "Nope, I ain't doing anything more. I only came to talk to you all then leave."

Fury looked at flare with desperate eyes, he had seen the tapes of flare easily cutting up the massive monsters as well as turning into a giant dragon capable of mass destruction. This was the type of power that he wanted in order to protect earth.

Fury: "I'll do any offer you want but I just request one thing."

Flare: "Any offer? Mhmm well fine. I want an agent from you of my choice."

Fury: "Why would you want an agent?"

Flare: "Well I wanted to recruit someone on my journey, your soldiers are high trained people so I thought this was a good idea."

Fury: "Mhmmm so who would you like?"

Flare: "The red hair woman."

Everyone slowly looked towards natasha as she too was surprised. She didn't think that he would choose her. (We all should have seen this coming, anyone who objects can kindly fuck off.)

Natasha: "Why me? I don't have any special powers?"

Flare: "But you are a trained fighter and assassin, I saw you fighting and was impressed with it. You don't have to be worried about being weak because I can make you strong enough to split a mountain in two. The two girls behind me were normal people before they trained under me and now they can easily defeat entire armies by themselves."

Fury: "Natasha is one of my best soldiers but I will give her to you but only if she accepts."

Natasha: "I accept, it won't be too bad. You should thank me later for doing this."

Fury: "Well the favor was that in case of an extreme emergency I would be allowed to summon you to help us."

Flare: "Mhmmm, fine but it will be only be a one time summon. I will be busy throughout the multiverse so I can only offer my services once."

Fury: "That's fine, I only need you as my last resort. I think the team should be able to handle anything else."

Flare bought 10,000 summon pages and gave fury a single one while the rest were placed in his inventory. This would allow anyone to summon him once they tear the paper in half but it only worked once per paper. Fury was confused as to why flare gave him a paper but flare decided to explain.

Flare: "This is a summon paper, just rip it in half and I will be teleported here. It only works once so after the first time it loses it's use."

Fury: "Mhmm, I'll make sure to hold on to this. Thanks for your help once again..... and see you later Natasha."

Natasha got up and hugged each of the team as they said their goodbyes. Flare waited for only about 5 minutes until she was ready, she walked over to him and stood beside him.

Flare: "Well I'll see you all in the future, take care."

Fury: "You better take care of her flare."

Flare nodded his head as he made a portal to his dimension where they all walked in before it closed. They arrived in front of a large mansion beside a beautiful lake, natasha was a little stunned as she has never seen such a beautiful place before. Nojiko and Bellmere spent a little time getting to know natasha a bit more while she also understood them as well, flare decided to speak up after a minute.

Flare: "We are currently in my own dimension, I have transported us here. Before we continue I wanted to explain to you about the world that we are gonna enter. It's a lot different than your home world and much more dangerous in certain aspects."

Natasha: "I see, well explain away."

Flare: "Well there are 2 main ways to get power in that world. They are called devil fruits and haki. Devil fruits are rare fruits that give the person who ate it a super power at the cost of being able to swim..... pretty weird I know. Usually a person can only eat one devil fruit and if they try to eat another then they will instantly die."

Natasha: "What about haki?"

Flare: "Haki is basically an individual's willpower, every living being has haki but few harness it's power. It can be used both offensively and defensively as well."

Natasha: "Interesting, I think I'm gonna enjoy myself."

Flare grinned as they all started walking into the mansion. Upon arriving flare decided to check his stats since he just got a new bloodline. He opened his stats to reveal the shock of a lifetime.

The viltrumite dna that flare received boosted all his already destructive strength and speed even more while making him a walking tank that could negate even the most damaging blows. It also allowed all of his attributes to break through into another sub level increasing his strength even more.
