Arriving just as fast as departing

Flare had just introduced the 2 to the team and they seemed to get along alright, they were confused as to how flare got people but he told them that he left and came back. For some weird esdeath and hancock kept staring at each other, it was kinda weird at first but he ignored it as their was a rule that didn't permit fights unless it was training.

Flare: "I believe we have about a day until we reach wano, I'm thinking that esdeath and azula train their devil fruits while you guys can focus on whatever you want."

Esdeath: "I was hoping to spar with you, you won before but I think this devil fruit will give you a much better fight than last time."

Flare: "You didn't even use your devil fruit, you have to train with it first."

Esdeath: "Exactly, I train by fighting those stronger than me. It's better to fight you than train by myself."

Flare: "Well ok then but we have to fight away from the ship. I'm pretty sure you can freeze the sea for us to fight on."

Azula: "Freeze the sea? didn't she eat a vampire fruit? I'm sure vampires can't do that."

Esdeath: "It isn't my devil fruit, I gained ice manipulation from something called an imperial arms. I doubt we will ever see another one but it basically gives he user an extra abiltity, mine just allows me to make ice and freeze anything."

Azula: "Imperial arms? such an interesting power."

Akimeg: "Wow, you must be strong if you can fight flare even if only for a while. He's one of the strongest persons I know."

Esdeath: "He is indeed strong, he hits harder than anything I've ever felt. I fought him for about 4 hours before I lost."

Fuyumeg: "W-Wow, that long! you must be really strong."

Flare: "She could beat an admiral and even fight on par with a yonko for some time. We'll be off now, we should be back soon."

Flare then left with esdeath as they flew away from the ship. Esdeath froze the surrounding area as they started their duel. An entire passed before they returned to the ship with torn up clothes, their clash shook the seas and even killed multiple sea kings by accident. By the time they had took a bath and got dressed they had already arrived near wano, flare transformed into his dragon form and made everyone sit on his head. He put the ship in his inventory as he flew upwards, it took a while but they eventually arrived at the top as flare landed and let everyone off his head as he de-transformed.

Flare: "The girl we are looking for is tall, even taller than me. She has white hair and yellow eyes, she also has massive horns on her head and she usually goes by either yamato or oden. She sometimes wears an oni mask as well. Viola I want you to use your devil fruit and keep a lookout."

Viola: "Roger that!"

They all ran into the forest as they approached near to the capital in about 2 hours of running, they were all trained for this so they didn't struggle to keep up. As they approached the giant wall, viola stopped them.

Viola: "I see the woman you are talking about but she is in the castle. There are hundreds of guards, plus kaido's 3 disasters are in the castle as well. Kaido himself looks to be gone but left his strongest minions behind."

Flare: "That's actually perfect, since kaido is gone it will be easier. I want you all to stay here and scout the area, viola come with me to rescue her."

All: "Roger that/got it."

Flare picked up viola as he took out 2 of his wings and took off into the sky. He flew straight into the clouds before continuing forward. He then used his dragon powers to make the clouds thicker to completely hide him. He flew by a window in the castle and opened it slowly, putting viola inside then himself.

Viola: "We go straight down this corridor then go to the bottom of the stairs."

Flare: "Got it, have you ever gone super speed?"

Viola: "Uhh no?"

Flare: "Well get ready, this will be just be a blur to you."

Flare grabbed viola and went super speed as he moved so fast that none of the guards even saw him pass by them. He ran downstairs as he stopped to let viola direct him again.

Viola: "W-What just happened? I feel awful."

Flare: "Sorry about that, it's an after effect of moving in super speed for the first time. You'll get used to it, now where is she now?"

Viola: "She's in the 3rd door on the left."

Flare walked over to the door and broke the lock, when he entered he saw a large young woman sitting on a broken bed. She had bruises all over her but she didn't look hurt. She also had a old book in her hand, she looked up to see a guy that she's never seen before.

Flare: "Hi, I'm flare. You may not know me but I can promise you freedom if you come with me. I will explain later but right now we have to get out of here before kaido comes back."

Yamato: "Flare? as in Gol D. Flare. I read about you. You saved ace! Thank you"

Flare: "That's fine but we gotta go now."

Yamato: "Oh right!"

She got up with her book as she also took up her iron mace Flare didn't hesitate and immediately created a gate portal and took both viola and yamato through it. They appeared where the girls were, they went on guard when they saw the gate open but relaxed once they saw flare and viola pass through it with another woman.

Flare: "Well guys this is yamato, she's the one I came for."

Yamato: "Speaking about that, why did you rescue me?"

Flare: "Well I was talking to my cousin ace and he mentioned he had a friend that lived in wano. He said you were pretty strong but you were stuck on wano and couldn't leave due to the explosive cuffs."

Yamato: "Oh right, I forgot that it said that you were ace's cousin. I can't believe both the son and the nephew of the pirate king were alive. I'm glad that you risked your life to save me from the castle but these explosive seastone cuffs won't come off even with haki."

Flare: "Don't worry about that, I'll fix that."

Flare then touched her cuffs and put them in his inventory, effectively freeing yamato at the same time.

Yamato: "H-How? that's amazing!"

Flare: "After ace told me about you I decided to save you and invite you to my crew. Ace is technically a part of my crew as well since he's a part of the whitebeard pirates who are under my protection."

Yamato: "I accept your invitation, I've always wanted to leave this place and have my own adventure in the open seas."

Flare: "Well yamato, welcome to the flame pirates."

Yamato was instantly pulled away by the girls as they started asking her questions. Esdeath was especially interested in her because she wanted to test her strength, flare said it was close to her's so she wanted to test his theory. Since it was night they decided to head back to the shore where they would head off. Flare didn't know where to go after this but he wanted to leave as soon as possible. He was strong enough to fight kaido was his minions were still stronger in strength and numbers so he couldn't take the risk.

Flare: "Alright guys leave the questions for later, right now you guys need to head back to the shore. I have something to do quickly, I will be back before you even know it."

Flare used quicksilver to super speed away before they could ask him any questions. He sped to the temple where luffy had been to in canon, while in super speed he went inside and put Kitetsu 2 in his gates of babylon before taking off. He then ran towards the small village where Hiyori was staying. He searched all the houses in super speed before finally finding her sleeping. He decided to wake her up.

Hiyori: "H-huh who are you?"

Hiyori was frightened as she thought the intruder wanted to harm her, but calmed down once he started speaking.

Flare: "Calm down, I'm not here to hurt you. I just wanted to see all of the graded swords of this country."

Hiyori: "W-Who are you?"

Flare: "My name is Gol D. Flare, but you can call me flare. I'm a pirate but I don't go around killing or any of that stuff."

Hiyori: "What do you want with the swords?"

Flare: "I just wanted to see them, I promise I won't steal them or damage them."

Hiyori: "Well I only have 5 of them in this country but one was stolen. Shushui was stolen but 4 still remain. They are: Enma, Ame no Habakiri, Kitetsu 1 and 2, I have 3 of them on me but one is in another part of the country. I am keeping them for someone so please don't steal them."

Flare: "I promised I wouldn't so I won't."

She then got up and removed a piece of board from the floor and took out the 3 swords. Enma, along with Ame no Habakiri that oden used to wield, also Kitetsu 1 was there as well. She handed him the swords slowly as he took the from her. He then put them in his gates of babylon to copy them then he took them back out and handed them back to her.

Flare: "Well that's all I needed, thanks."

Hiyori: "W-Wait, that's it?"

Flare: "Yea that's it, I'll be taking my leave now."

Hiyori: "W-Wait, you said that you were a pirate."

Flare: "Yea I am, I'm the captain of the flame pirates."

Hiyori: "C-Can I ask for your help? I will pay you for your troubles."

Flare: "Depends? what's your problem?"

Hiyori: "I would ask for your help to defeat kaido, I will pay you whatever you ask."

Flare: "Well I could do that but it would have to be in the future after my crew is fully trained along with my grand fleet."

Hiyori: "H-How long would that take?"

Flare: "Maybe a year and a half? maybe 2 years? I haven't been a pirate for too long so my crew isn't strong enough to take on kaido at the moment but we can definitely beat him after I train them."

Hiyori: "Well if that's the case then I ask you to please come back and free my country. Just name your cost and I'll give it to you."

Flare: "How about you?"

Hiyori looked at flare and blushed at his words, flare realized this and slapped his forehead as he realized it didn't come out the way he wanted.

Flare: "I meant I want you to be on my crew, after I beat kaido then you will join my crew."

Hiyori thought about the offer for a while, she really didn't have anything else to loose so she agreed.

Hiyori: "Ok I agree but I only join after kaido's defeat."

Flare: "That's fine, I'll leave a den-den mushi snail with you for communication. I will be back in 2 years at most to beat that lizard, in the meantime stay safe."

Flare used his super speed to vanish in an instant, leaving a smiling hiyori. Flare only ran outside the house before using gate to teleport to where the girls were sitting down. They saw him and stood up.

Hancock: "Well that was fast, what did you go for this time?"

Flare: "Well there were some really strong weapons here in wano so I decided to take a few."

The girls laughed as they didn't expect him to turn back for weapons. Most of the crew knew that he had the pirate king's saber which was ranked in the 13 supreme grade sword, they also knew about excalibur which was super strong as well so they didn't understand what weapons interested him that much. They didn't say anything about it as he turned into his dragon form and they all jumped on, yamato was shocked seeing him transform as he looked very similar to her father but she didn't say anything and joined them as flare flew back down from wano. No one would even know that yamato was gone until kaido got back and went to 'train' her again.
