1 Prologue

((Well I guess I'm dead)) Tora thought as he floated through the darkness, arms crossed over his chest as he gazed into the never ending void, a color so black that it was akin to being in the vacuum of space. He had been here for what felt like weeks but had probably only been a few days. Time was a hard concept when there wasnt anything around to tell the time and Tora didn't feel like counting the seconds.

He didn't know how he had gotten here but he did figure out that he had died. While floating through the void, he had had plenty of time to think and came to this very conclusion. The last thing he had remembered before ending up in darkness was a honk and a flash of light followed by burst of pain that quickly faded. He didn't know what killed him but he figured it must have been a car or truck as anything else seemed rather unlikely.

It wasn't easy to accept that he was in fact dead, but he had had more then enough time to think about it and go through the motions of accepting it. Denial, anger, regret, and a bunch of other emotions had already made their way through Tora's entire being but eventually they were all replaced by acceptance. In however long he had spent in the void, he let go of all his negative feelings and thought about the positive things.

However, he was beginning to get bored of the endless darkness that filled his vision and the never ending silence that accompanied it. He had already tried to speak but it seemed that he was unable to, forcing him to distract himself by thinking of things like Captain Jack Sparrow played by Johnny Depp or Peter Parker played by Tom Holland.

((This was already boring me to the point.of insanity, but now I'm just wishing I had at least one person to talk to)) Tora thought as he closed his eyes though it didn't really change anything. ((I would much rather be with the most annoying person in existence then be alone. Being this confined feels suffocating.))

After a few minutes, Tora once again opened his eyes, but instead of seeing nothing but darkness like before, he saw a pinpoint of light that seemed to be far away in the distance. Being the first thing he could see in the darkness, Tora was immediately transfixed on small bright dot, unable to look away.

As he looked at it, the light began to grow bigger, slowly expanding as if reaching out towards him. Not only did the light grow but he could also here the sound of metal striking metal and the voices of people. As the light grew, so did the sounds. People shouting, occasional gunfire, swords clashing, a whole load of noises flooded his ears as the light was almost upon him.

Eventually the light washed over him and he seemed to sink into something similar unconsciousness.

--------------------------------------------------------------

This is merely a prologue that doesn't really contribute to the story very much. I mostly wrote this so you know why Tora is mostly okay with his death and how he came to accept it.

I always read these transmigration novels with people who suddenly appear in the world and are suddenly okay with being there. It literally makes no sense for them to be okay with it. They should at least be confused or scared, wondering what happened. Denying their deaths and if they liked their previous lives they should feel sad.

Having Tora spend an undetermined amount of time in darkness has helped him accept his death and now it makes sense that he doesn't feel any negative emotions. He'll probably be confused at first when he wakes up, but at least it'll somewhat make a little bit more sense.

Anyways, official first chapter out in 2-3 hours!!
