" Achilles, you sure coming this early is a good idea?" Bullet asked me as we rowed a small ship towards the island of Lily. The island is mostly known for a small port town called Spider Miles.

I could swear I had heard the name of the island before in the manga, but I wasn't able to remember any information pertaining to it. It was the same thing with the bounty hunter I fought a couple of days ago.

We left the Voyager in a cave hidden inside an island so no one can see it. This was due to the fact that we had gotten even more infamous after defeating the strongest bounty hunter in the North Blue. Because of that, our ship was now quite famous as well.

Both of us were wearing cloaks with hoodies so people wouldn't notice us. But I'm not sure how much the cloaks would help but at least we are trying to not cause a commotion that moment people see us.

" We aren't rich enough to buy the kid from the auction since I have no doubt that the World Government along with the Marines will be there in the auction. We can't compete with them. So might as well set the kid-free days before the auction starts."

" And this way we won't have to deal with people we can't contend with," Bullet said after me. Since both of us were pretty sure either the WG or the Marines were gonna send some heavy hitters. After this kid has eaten one of the rarest types of devil fruit in the world.

" We are pirates after all. And that thing we are best at is stealing." I said with a smirk as we could see the small island of Lily.

" Let's try not to grab attention to ourselves. We don't wanna scare off the people since we need information on the auction." I said to Bullet as we docked the ship at one of the many ports in the town.

As I looked around, what I see was a town that was heavily industrialized, Factories were everywhere as far as I could see. Thick smoke was in the air making it somewhat difficult for both me and Bullet to breathe. But after a couple of minutes, we got used to the atmosphere here.

" Hey, you two. You need to pay to dock here." A worker, noticing us, walked up to us and asked us to pay 1000 berries.

" Wa-wait you two don't need to pay." The worker said in panic after looking at our faces and realizing who we were. I was about to say something but noticed Bullet had his right hand up telling me he got this.

" We are on formal business here. Don't worry about your town, we aren't gonna do anything. You just keep your lip tight on us being here, understood?" Bullet said in a calm voice with the same tone when I first met him. He spoke like a soldier, he also looked uncomfortable as well. Something which I noticed, the man wasn't comfortable when he was talking to strangers.

" Sir if that's what you wish for." The worker said with a crappy smile after Bullet offered some cash.

" I didn't think you had that in you," I said to Bullet teasing him a little as we walked around the town looking for a place where we could gather information.

" Did you forget I was in the military? Dealing with corruption was quite common. Money being the quiet root cause of them."

" Give someone enough money and usually they fold to your whims. Although I prefer solving things with my fists." Bullet answered with us looking around for anything suspicious. But we tried to stay out of the public's views to the best of our ability.

After wasting a couple of hours finding nothing, we decided to head towards a bar since I figured there were gonna be people there and someone might spoil something.

Bullet and I split up inside the bar so we would be able to cover more ground. I sat around people who I thought looked rich. But sadly for me, they were talking about a bunch of rubbish. I continued moving around different tables whilst Bullet stayed in the same spot. He was sitting behind a table that had 3 people around it, all talking in a quiet voice.

[ One Hour Later ]

" I got nothing, what about you?" After we were done with the bar, we rented a two-bedroom in a nice hotel. After everything we stole from Eldoraggo, we were pretty rich. And why have money if you don't use it? I couldn't find any information but Bullet did hear something interesting.

" I was listening to the Mayor of this town in the bar. From what I could hear listening to his table, they were planning out how to send letters about exactly where the auction will be held. And who to send the letters to after we killed Eldoraggo. Seems like the man we killed is a lot more important than we thought he was."

" That would explain why the letter we have doesn't tell us the exact location. Just the island the auction will behold in." I said after Bullet.

" Anything else you heard?" I asked since we needed more information.

" One of the people sitting with the mayor mentioned they already have all the items that are going to be sold off are on the island including the kid we want. It's just that they don't have everything planned out yet. Rather amateurish of them." Bullet said telling me everything he heard from them.

" So the one who knows where the items are being held is the Mayor!" Both me and Bullet said at the same time.

" Exactly, we get him and we will have everything we are looking for," Bullet said, rubbing his chin. I lay down on the bed thinking about what to do next.

" Hmm, we can't kidnap the mayor in broad daylight. It's best to wait until the sun goes down. By the way, stockpile weapons in case we have to fight anyone." I said thinking the Mayor might have some guards. Since it seems like the Mayor isn't your typical run-of-the-mill Mayor.

Although Bullet can disassemble inanimate objects and reassemble them into any configuration he wants with his mind. He still has to know what he's creating and how to make it. This is why he's always been reading books on the latest technology and mechanics whenever he has free time. Along with trying to come up with his own stuff as well.

[ Midnight ]

" You go through the front door and I go through the windows," I said to Bullet as it was finally midnight. And we can act on our plan.

We are currently in front of a very large mansion on the outskirts of the town. So no one was around and we already knocked out the 2 guards that were protecting the mansion.

Both of us are wearing masks and cloaks so no one can trace this back to us at least until we get the kid on the ship. By then if this gets reported on the news, I wouldn't care.

" I'll handle any member of the Mayor's family. You got the rest." I said to Bullet before I moon-walked towards one of the second-floor windows. I lightly broke the window in front of me without causing too much of a sound. While Bullet broke the lock on the front door quite easily with his strength just walking inside the house casually.

I checked the rooms before I finally entered the master bedroom. Oddly enough the mayor wasn't inside but his wife was sleeping soundly.

I made as little noise as possible walking up to her before taking out a needle filled with a sleeping serum. I quickly injected her with it before she could wake up as it wouldn't go right with me hurting an innocent woman. The sleeping serum lasts for a whole day.

I went downstairs where Bullet had an average middle-aged-looking man chained up with tape around his mouth. I walked up to the man who looked terrified.

" Listen, we are going to untape you. You scream and a bullet goes through your head. Nod if you understand." I said with Bullet behind him with a pistol to his head.

I untaped his mouth after he kept nodding his head showing he understood.

" What do you want?"

" My money? You can have it all." The mayor said crying trying his best not to scream.

" We aren't here for that. We need info on the auction your town is holding. Where is the kid being held?"

" I don't know what you're talking about."

" Don't play dumb." I slapped him breaking one of his teeth out of his mouth. Bullet brought one finger closer to the trigger and we made sure he knew that.

" Just don't kill me and I'll tell you everything! The items are being held underground in the basement of the factory closet to my house. Just please don't kill me!" The man quickly spoke in fear of what would happen if he refused to relay all the information we needed.

" Are you telling the truth?" Bullet asked him with me trying to sense his emotions. But I failed as I can barely use observation haki.

" Yes… Yes, I'm telling you the truth. I can even bring you to the factory."

" There's no need. You have my appreciation for saying the truth." Right after I said that Bullet smacked his pistol to the head of the mayor hard rendering him unconscious. As an extra caution, I injected the same solution that his wife received.

We knew he was telling the truth after he said he would bring us to the factory. And for a brief moment, I could sense his intentions.

" Let's go. We have a kid to save."
