12 Usopp

Luffy walked towards Zoro and freed him. He gave him two of his swords, the third was still in his hands.

"Hey, Pirate Hunter. Join my crew."

"Who the hell are you guys, pirates?"

"No? Can't I have a crew without being a pirate?"

"Yes, you can. But I will not join you."

"Oh. But if you join me, I will make you the strongest swordsman in the world."

Zoro frowned towards this stranger.

"Let me show you", Luffy grinned at Zoro while pointing a sword towards him.

"I never used a sword in my whole life. The only sword I used was a knife, and that only to eat a piece of meat."

"What do you want to tell me?"

"Look at the sword, idiot."

Zoro looked at his own sword in the hands of this guy and couldn't believe what he was seeing. The sword started to slowly change color until it was completely black.

"This is the basis for everyone who wants to be a swords master.", Luffy said. "It's called Haki."

"I can beat the shit out of you with that, even though I'm super bad with swords."

Zoro felt challenged. This guy was holding his treasured sword, the one that he got from his childhood friend Kuina. He didn't believe that he could lose to that arrogant guy.

But what happened next shocked him. When the two swords clashed against each other, his own sword was destroyed like it was made of paper. Zoro could clearly see that the guy in front of him never wielded a sword, he saw it at just the way this guy was holding a sword.

"Well, what do you say? Want to join me?"

"What's your dream?", Zoro asked with a smile on his face.

"To be the very best, like no one ever was."

Zoro laughed.

"So I will be the very best swordsman, and you will be just the very best. I think it's a good team. Alright, I'll join. But you have to teach me this Haki you used."

The girls watched towards the guys with disgust.

"Why are men so simple? The very best, such a stupid dream. What does it even mean?"

"Hina doesn't understand men. Men are idiots."

"Well, another monster in our crew…", Nami sighed. She was losing her common sense since Luffy kicked Arlong's ass a couple of days ago.

Luffy summoned Gyarados, shocking Zoro again.

"This guy wasn't an illusion?", he yelled.

Luffy looked at Zoro like he was an idiot.

"Let's go, the next one will be the weakest member in our group. I think he is some kind of sniper? But he's a good guy. Let's pick him up."

Nami walked to Hina with a confused expression.

"Why does he know everything, Hina? He knows everyone he wants in his crew, but he clearly never met these guys. And he knows where every island is, why does he even need a navigator? Is this guy a god? Does he know everything?"

Hina laughed.

"Well, this guy has powerful Haki. When Hina thinks about his Haki, Hina blushes", she said and was a little bit turned on by the power of her boss.

"What is this Haki?"

"You will learn it soon enough. Hina can only tell you one thing. The boss can see things like a god with his Observation Haki like he has eyes in the sky that can watch over a whole island. Hina believes that his range is so wide that he can see several islands at the same time. Ain and Hina call it 'The Eyes Of God'"

"What the hell is wrong with this guy?", Nami gasped, shocked by this discovery.

The crew left Coby with the marines. Luffy gave him a letter for the old monkey.

After a while, they arrived at the next island.

"East Blue is too boring, we have two quickly pick up two other guys and then we can go to the Grand Line. My little monsters are itching for a fight."

"He has more of those…things?", Nami stuttered.

"Yes, I don't know where he finds them. You will see the little egg soon enough."

"You are talking about the Grand Line like it was the playground for little kids…", Zoro said. Something was wrong with his new crew.

Before they could talk any further, they saw a guy with a long nose.

"Intruders! Identify yourself! My name is captain Usopp and I have an army of 8000 men! If you…", Usopp stopped his speech because he saw a huge Chinese dragon.

"A DRAGON!", he panicked and ran in a circle four or five times.

"I'm screwed! Screwed!", he ran away after that.

Luffy's crew was watching this funny guy with sweat on their faces.

"Luffy", Hina was annoyed. "Don't tell me it's this guy…"

"What a coward", Ain glowered with an arrogant expression.

"Come on, don't act tough. How would you react when this monster would arrive in your home town?", Nami mumbled. She understood Usopp's feelings.

"Hina, do you still have your uniform? If I remember correctly, then you were a captain. On this island is a little pirate, not someone strong, but you can take care of him. Bring this stupid swordsman with you, or he will get lost."

"Hey, that's not true!", Zoro yelled in an angry voice.

"Alright, we take care of that guy. You pick up the guy with the long nose, Hina doesn't want to stay on this boring island for too long."

It was a matter of an hour and the pirate that was hiding in the house of Usopp's childhood friend was taken care of. The crew with the addition of a long nose was now on their way to the Baratie.

"KIDNAPPED! YOU KIDNAPPED ME!"

The guy who screamed was Usopp.

"Well, he told the truth, boss. You kidnapped him."

"Ah, I don't have the time to convince this guy the whole day to join me. He will understand in the future."

"I HAVE 8000 MEN ON MY SHIP! I'M CAPTAIN USOPP! LET ME GO OR I WILL-", before he could finish his sentence, he was knocked out by Hina.

"Hina is annoyed. Hina doesn't understand why the boss picked him for our crew."

"Don't judge a book by its cover, Hina. The next stop will be more exciting. A strong guy is not far from here. It's Mihawk."

"MIHAWK IS HERE?", the crew was freaking out. Well, only those who knew how strong the Samurai truly was.

Thanks to Gyarados' flying ability, it didn't take long for the crew to arrive at the restaurant on the sea.

Time to pick up a cook.
