14 (Chapter 12) Strange fruit

'Ah' "This shit isn't as good as the one is Sphinx" Thought the giant man, as he drank from a barrel of sake Shiki's crew provided
It's been a few days since they resupplied on Dressrosa, During which he had nothing to do, After they got done Shiki moved most of the sake on one of the other ships to get Newgate off his hair
It's not like he didn't know what was going on and more of him not wanting to deal with Shiki the same way he didn't want to deal with him
They were quiet and we're 8000 miles off the coast of wano, and needed to get info on the island they were going to raid, "Honestly I don't know why the captain wanted a blade from here, he could have bought one with the wealth the crew has accumulated over the past 2 years" he thought as he took another swig of his sake
He closed his eyes and tried to sense as far as possible using his observation's haki, he wasn't the best at it but he was very good
As he thought this a loud sound of an elephants trumpet reached the small fleet of ships, they shook as the waves grew more frantic, as a large grey pillar almost crushed one of the nearby ships
'Shiki, What in the world is this' said Newgate, as Shiki landed next to him using the power of his devil-fruit
The pillar moved once more as it kept going in a singular direction, a three more of those pillars appeared as it came apparent that those were legs
Shiki was about to fly and investigate what in the world that was before a voice rung in everyone's head
"LEAVE NOW!"
It said as it rose one of its hind legs before stomping back down, Giant waves came forth as they dwarfed their ships
Newgate clenched his fist as he jumped towards the waves coming their way, a white halo covered his fist before he punched the air
*crack*
The air started collapsing in itself as shockwaves came forth from his punch and hit the waves point blank
The waves exploded into themselves before dispersing, "Thankfully he's here" thought Shiki as he floated back to his ship
Newgate landed on one of the ships as he screamed out, 'Get me another berral, I need a damned drink' The star-struck crew just stood there before one of them snapped out of his daze and ran into the storage room
Newgate sat down on a giant chair that he requested before the man brought a giant barrel with The help of a few more crewmates
They got close enough as he grabbed the barrel with one hand as he opened the lid before gulping the contents down in one swig
"Seems like this won't be as boring as I thought it would be" he thought to himself as they brought more barrels

Ryu just woke up as he looked around his bedroom, he was surprised that he wasn't on that mountain and for once slept in
He just stood before making his futon, he soon got done and closed the door, last night uncle Akira came to pick up Aunty and Marco-chan
Jiji talked with him for a bit and told him to play with Marco-chan as he brought out a bottle of expensive sake and shared it with the man
Soon after they all left and Jiji went to sleep soon after as Ryu helped him to his room, "I wish Akira-san stayed a little bit longer I wanted to ask him what kind of sword he was carrying with him" thought Ryu as he entered the living room before picking up the blade Masamune-san gifted him
He strapped it to his waist before leaving the home, "I'll look for Kaido-chan he should be somewhere near the mountains" he started running into the forest but before he could go any further he heard the sounds of what seemed to be a trumpet coming north from his direction he looked towards there to see nothing
Soon he heard a voice "Leave now" it was such a low pitch as he couldn't understand what it was trying to say
Ryu just shrugged before he ran inside the forest as he picked a fruit from a random tree and almost taking a bite of it, It felt rough and firm, he looked down to see a blue fruit
It was blue and had scales going down it, while the stem was purple, he shrugged before pocketing it, "Not sure what this is ill ask Jiji when I get home"
He thought as he jumped across a small ravine, he kept his pace looking around to try and spot Kaido
He soon spotted him fighting a bear, "That bear looks familiar" It was a giant black bear and had a scare that went across its stomach
Kaido screamed before he bashed a Metal club on the bear's head, killing it instantly as his strength was unmatched
'You can come out Ryu, I can smell you from here' he said as he put down the club he held before sitting on a tree stump
He walked out as he said 'Your nose is as sharp as ever kaido-chan'
He just snorted as he took a water skin from inside his new set of pants, Hisho has been knitting him some clothes since he didn't have much to wear
'How's Aunty doing' he asked as he drank from the water skin, 'She is doing well' Ryu replied as he sat next to him
'what about you?' he asked as he looked towards the large boy, He just shrugged before replying with a grin 'The old man made me a new club' he said as he showed off his spiked club
Ryu just smiled and nodded as he nibbled on some of the candy aunt Rika gave to him, He offered some to Kaido as he threw them into his mouth not even removing the wrappers
'What's with that weird aura coming from your pocket' asked Kaido as he stood up and went to the other side of the field
Ryu shrugged before pulling out the strange fruit 'I'm not sure myself I picked it out of a tree randomly' he said as he placed it on the stump
'Looks tasty' He said and looked at him 'I challenge you for the fruit he said, as Ryu's sweat dropped looking towards Kaido that had an awfully serious expression
He just sighed before going to the opposite side of the field, 'Ok kaido-chan don't expect me to go easy' as he unsheathed his cutlass and pointed it towards Kaido
He just grinned before rushing Ryu, Spiked club in hand ready to bash him into the ground
