11 Lucky encounter

We could see our destination, but more dangerous everything got.

Mesla was scouting around, to avoid large groups or dangerous beings in the forest.

We made many circles to avoid forest monsters, it made our trip longer, but we were still on the right path.

It was the sixth day at night.

All of us were resting, and I was reading one of the Miklakla books, this was the last book he had, about history.

The book was boring, only about what happened and how our Sun Lion empire fought with glory and defended our land.

I couldn't sleep today, because I was excited since we were near our goal.

After that Mesla left, and we followed.

We were finally near the mountain.

Following Mesla I realized that he plans to gross with us the mountain from the left side, where a weird rising path to the mountainside come out.

We slowly started to move on the path.

Not long we all stopped because we saw a bush on top of a small cliff and cave near it.

Ains: I need something to eat, I understand our goal, but I rather take the fruits, it's clear that they are eatable since they are bright red.

I quietly watched their small fight from the side.

A bit later suddenly Mesla jumped down before ground his legs and hand shined and slowed his jump down.

He hastily whispered trough magic: pick the fruits and move.

I rushed near the rock and picked all my fruits, total nine, with the fruit that was still on my hand.

After filling my hands with fruits, we ran on, following the path.

We ran like crazy for a while until Mesla stopped.

James asked: What happened.

Following Evets: What happened there?

Mesla: It was a snake cave, I almost got bitten. Luckily snake queen was sleeping.

Miklakla: Queen snakes, arent those flying snakes?

Mesla: Yeah those.

Evets: Was running away enough?

Mesla: I hope, I even used all my energy to but as much wind I could to support our path, I am very exhausted.

Ains suddenly laughed and told: Don't worry about that, we got the fruits.

James: Are you sure we have time to rest right now?

Mesla: I think it's better to move, Queen was probably woken up by now.

Ains stopped with Mesla, to allow James to put his fruit on Mesla, then we moved on.

James didn't find anything dangerous. And we didn't face any danger on the rest of our trip.

Before night we arrived near the Lich Tree Cave.

It was the name I come up for the tree. I think it suited.

We rested near the tree, but not to close, because we didn't want to face unexpected danger.

Mesla was bit recovered, because of that he looked around to make sure this place is safe to rest.

At same time Ains counter our fruits, total fifty-eight.

All of us got nine fruits, but one was left over.

Ains hastily eat it and told: He suffered.

We all laughed at that because he did suffer in embarrassment.
