12 Lich Tree Cave (1)

Before I started eating my fruits, I asked Miklakla what fruit those are.

Miklakla replied me: According to book those are Bright Red Thron Blood Fruits.

I nodded, but I was a bit confused because fruits didn't have thorns.

Miklakla saw that I got confused and continued: Only bush has thorns, but the name was expanded to fruits seems.

I nodded, thanked and left, but I was bit mad at his last line, even I started to guess that.

I looked up at the sky and breathed to calm my mind. After that, I searched for a place to sit down and eat the fruits. Fruits were too big to carry around, because of that I was planning to eat all.

Now that I thought about it, we weren't even given a bag to bring food back. I laughed in my mind, after realizing that.

I decided to ask later from James. But right now I finally took a bite from the fruit. It tasted sweet and watery, like a Melon, but the aftertaste was made me feel like I drank blood.

Thanks to fruits being watery and furthermore that I was quite hungry, I eat them all quite fast.

After I finished eating, I looked where James was. When I saw him near a nearby tree, he was eating already last fruit.

Because of that, I decided to go and ask about a bag or about something we can use to carry.

When I asked my question from James, he took out a bag under his armor and told me: We can use this later, but right now not wise to carry those fruits too long, they attract squirrels. And make sure to practice today, we haven't so much for a while, even I got almost full.

I answered: Of course.

And after that, I went back to my eating place since I found it comfortable. I took a deep breath and focused on myself. Soon I could feel how mysterious energy went through my blood system and every time it reached to heart I felt the excitement.

Also every time I felt that the energy reached to heart I felt that energy exploded and spread to every blood vessel in my body and slowly strengthening my body.

I also felt how blood moved to my head, and I felt how my mind got cleared and brighter.

I trained and trained and better I felt until suddenly I felt like something freed my body and mind.

I heard James laugh and after laugh, he spoke: Congrats Chris, you finally peak of mid-stage. Only one tougher step in stage more to reach the seventh stage in both mage and warrior path.

Other told me their Congrats as well, and I thanked them all, but I could feel their envy.

James comes and sit down next to me and asked what I experienced. I told what I could.

I nodded and thanked James for his good will. But after he went away, I wasn't happy. I felt sticky and uncomfortable.

I guess that this is the training side effect, but I couldn't wash here.

We did have water thanks Evets, but I can't bother him about this, so I started training on. Luckily for me, I fell quite easily back into training state.

At morning I got out from training easily, since I felt that someone moved, and when I opened eyes, I saw Mesla, moving near Lich Tree Cave.

Soon others got out from training state, and we all moved next to Lich Tree Cave hole.

Mesla spoke: Don't worry about the height, its quite shortfall, and we can step and hold thanks to roots.

We all nodded.

Mesla: Are already?

Ains: I would like to drink something before and to my business if you know what I mean.

Mesla angry replied: Go to it now then.

We all laughed softly, and it's not like we didn't want water, and to our business, unlike Tesla.

Soon we were back to Lich Cave Tree, Mesla was first to go down.

I was second to descend. I got quite easily below because roots that came out from soil were large and I could and step on them.

Soon all of were in the cave.

I asked: Should someone be for lookout?

While Ains and Evets argued I finally decided to observe bit around with my eyes.

Cave was wide enough for four people to move together, height was also acceptable. Also made from stone, like a cave should be on a mountain.

While I was observing Mesla stopped Ains and Evets and spoke: Don't fool around, this cave is quite new. Prepare your sword, and Chris and James use your hands to light path for us.

James closed and his hand and suddenly hand shined in bright red.

I breathed in relief because I didn't know how to do that.

We started to slowly move, following Mesla and Ains who were the first.

Not soon we heard a wailing, it sounded like men were crying.

It was even worse than hearing women cry. I felt goosebumps all over myself.

We walked even slower, and Mesla told us to be ready.

Even though we didn't need to hear those words, because after wailing we all reacted and prepared ourselves.

I took my sword finally out, it felt like it was lighter than before when I tried to use it, but I remembered nothing about swordplay.
