One of a Kind: The Path of Destiny

Someone was coming for me, coming to hurt me, hunting me, and only a few people knew why, and I knew my father was one of them.

My father once told me that whatever happens to him, I needed to fight for my life to live long enough to be here for the end of the feud. He had always made it seem as though I was somehow the source or a source that had started the fighting between the races, or the source to end it all.

All of us were once friends, all the supernatural beings, werewolves, shifters, portal walkers, necromancers, vampires, and witches.

The war had begun when my father was in his teens. But the war hadn't reached his neighborhood till after I was born. My mother had died after I was born, and my father had kept me a secret.

When I turned 10, my father decided it was too dangerous for me. He took me to Europe so that I could live with his best friend John Duchane and his werewolf family.

I didn't understand until my 18th birthday when my brother and father had promised to be there and never showed. No one in the outside world of ours knew I existed, till I stepped out to find my family.
