16 16. Pack house

About 3 to 4 months ago

Werewolves

When they got to the giant mansion that housed the McReynolds pack he got down from the car carrying Gloria on his shoulders.

The pack watched him as he came in without speaking. He moved to his room in silence. Even the humans living amongst the wolves could tell that the alpha was angry.

He dropped Gloria on the bed and walked to his office to continue with the paper works his was handling about pack issues. The McReynolds pack was handed to him by his father and handed to his father by his grandfather but it was during his time that it became the most feared pack.

Noah was vicious and slayed with ease, blood giving him an orgasmic feeling. He was told that he could not have a mate because of how cruel he was, that in fact he didn't have.

He didn't want a mate he wanted no weaknesses. Mates to him were weaknesses. This was until Aiko decided to open up to him that he had a mate and was no different from any other wolf.

Although deep down he already knew this. Luna could not be so cruel as to create him without a mate, would she?

He didn't know if to kill the Japanese witch for telling him about his mate or to kiss her. He didn't do any.

He wanted his mate not to love her but to break her just like his father did to his mother before she killed herself on that cold night he would never forget. The night that changed his life.

The night he could never forget no matter how had he tried to. He didn't want to remember that night anymore yet the memory clinged to him, a second skin. He remembered how he had watched her stab her heart with silver.

He remembered her bleeding to her death and gasping for air. His beloved mother broken by his father.

She had said that she loved him but he didn't believe her, she can never love him and leave him. She didn't love him if she did she would have lived for him she would not have left him, she would not have taken her life when she knew how much he needed her.

All she cared about was his father and he meant nothing to her. He meant nothing to his mother. If his mother could not love him, he who came from her, who suckled her bosom. Him who she nurtured how much more another woman. He believed that no woman could ever love him if his mother didn't and even his mate would be no exception.

Luna could never make some one love another if she could then why didn't his father love his mother? If his made could not love him then he would break her so at least she feared him enough to never leave him.

He sat quietly in his office studying and approving the documents for the pack. The office was more like an ancient library passed down from generations of Milena wolf each destined to live for three centuries and not more. His was doing this meticulously with fervent concentration the kind alined to him. But he still made sure to listen out for when his mate would awaken.

A few hours later Gloria's eyes fluttered open. Her eyes studied her environment as she sat up to take in all that was before her. She was in a dark room only illuminated by the moon peeking thought the huge window.

The bed she laid on was so huge it was bigger than her whole apartment. The bedside table sparkled in the dark drawing her attention to it. The room looked Like something from the ancient time that was modernized to suit the taste of modern people.

After a minute had passed she remembered how she got here in the first place. Her head ached but it was not something she couldn't handle she was so used to pain it sometimes excited her.

She swallowed hard and stood up whilst trying her very best to be as quiet as possible. Her white trouser had blood stains on it. She was sure that the blood stain was hers seeing that her kidnapper was inhuman. Her blue shirt was all rumpled it looked like it had been squeezed by really huge hands. Luckily her flat shoes were on and still intact.

She stood up on her toes studying the environment. She was as Silent as ever as she walked to the window of the room and looked down. When her eyes adjusted to the darkness that trailed the whole area she tried to find a possible way out.

She wanted to know how she could escape. She realized that she was on the fifth story of a huge mansion but that wasn't all that bothered her. The people she saw around guarding the mansion worried her more than it's height, they looked vicious although less vicious than the man who brought her here against her wish.

First things first she thought trying hard to to get too scared and end up chickening out of escaping. She was aware that she had to leave now that the monster was not in sight but how was she going to escape? Does she jump down to the tree or try using the door? she was thinking of a possible way out when she heard footsteps behind her followed by a growl.
