Faded Water

The smell of flowers, and the sound of crickets singing filled my heart with hope and joy. My feet touched the soft moss as I walked near a stream. The moon reflected its light across the water, as the wind began to blow, ripples formed and fish came from the bottom. Tears weld into my eyes and slowly ran down my cheeks, as I slowly stepped into the water, my gown floating at the edge and I stood there remembering my life and the mistakes that made me want this more and more. Taking another step as the water slowly goes pasted my ankles, and my eyes begin to swell from tears, remembering how my mother was kind enough to risk everything so I could have something, I take another step remembering out good my brothers were that they let me have another chance to try something, and taking my last step I remembered my friends for they gave me a chance to speak even if there wasn't a stand, taking my last breath I remembered loosing them all in a flash.
