2 The Father Of The Child

Releasing Lin Chuxia's hand from hers, Su Bei felt a chill pass through her body. Suddenly, she felt a little sad. There was a time when she really, really wanted a kid.

However, today she had no choice but to kill a child!

After receiving the consent form for the surgery, she signed the document without even looking through the details. As she released her pen, her hand shook uncontrollably.

After changing her clothes and laying down on the operating table, Su Bei suddenly felt her heart beat faster.

Her eyes started to grow foggy. There was a reflection of her pale face on the white ceiling.

She really, really wanted to be a mother!

However, she could not keep this child!

As she closed her eyes, two lines of tears came out from her eyes.

She didn't even know who the child's father was.

What happened that night floated back into her consciousness once again. She remembered it vividly.

Her heart started to ache painfully. She could not bear the pain.

A sharp pain shot through the back of her hand. The nurse readied the IV solution.

A chill slowly flowed into her body, chilling her entire body through her veins.

More and more people came into the surgery room.

The sound of equipment being set up, the placing of utensils, and the chatter between the nurses could be heard.

Su Bei closed her eyes firmly. Her palm was wet and soaked with sweat.

Someone walked beside her. "I will give you the anesthesia now. Please relax!"

Su Bei slowly exhaled to make herself calm down.

Suddenly, the door of the operating room was slammed open.

"Doctor!"

After hearing the sound, the room suddenly became very quiet. Only rushed footsteps could be heard.

As Su Bei opened her eyes, all the doctors and nurses were out of her line of vision. The only thing visible to her was a tall and large figure.

He was crowded by a bunch of people. However, his importance as a leader was distinguishable.

His beautiful eyes, his sharp nose, and his fine mouth further emphasized his arrogance.

He simply stood out from the crowd!

Su Bei hurriedly sat up. Her clothes were messy, and all she could see was a green cloth on top of her body.

The man seemed to realize that too. He waved his hand and said, "All of you get out first."

The men in black beside him walked out of the room.

"Who are you? You are in the wrong room. I don't remember you!" Su Bei looked at the man who slowly approached her with frightened eyes.

The man stopped beside her and gave her a smile that sparkled like the stars in the sky.

Suddenly, he lowered his body and whispered beside her ear, "When you climbed into my bed, you did not ask for my permission. Do you remember now?"

At that moment, Su Bei froze.

He was the man that night!

The father of the baby inside her!

His moist breath was tingling beside her ear. She felt as if an electric current had passed through her.

The struggling and wrestling that night immediately came to her mind.

Su Bei's voice suddenly turned harsh. "What do you want?"

The man did not answer her. He reached out his hand and carried Su Bei from the operating table.

"Let me go!" Su Bei would never have expected him to be so daring.

Su Bei struggled to escape from his grasp, but the man grabbed her with an iron grip and his tone was firm when he said, "Let you go so that you can get rid of my child?"

Su Bei almost fainted. What in the world was this man thinking?

She calmed herself down, and said, "That day was simply an accident. I don't need you to be responsible for it."

"Mm." The man did not stop.

"Then why aren't you letting me down?" Su Bei started to panic.

The man looked at her with a stern face and said, "However, I need you to be responsible!"
