4 A deep fall and a hidden treasure

Berto continued running at the same speed for a while until he felt the ground beneath his feet soften until finally he was thirsty due to his weight and collapsed and swallowed Berto in the process.

Berto fell from above what was previously a high road and fell on a car completely sinking the roof.

"Shit, Fuck, FUCK !!!"(Berto)

Berto shouted with all his strength raising his head and realizing that his stomach was stuck with a large piece of metal.

A huge creature began to approach in the distance without Berto noticed this and a message appeared on the screen of Berto.

[Do you want to confirm getting level 16?]

"Seriously? Right now?" (Berto)

Berto confirmed having gone up to level 16 and placed all the points he got in "Strength" to remove the piece of metal from his stomach.

When he removed the piece of metal from his body it blew blood and Berto fell to the ground.

"Shit This hurts!!!"(Berto)

The creature was slowly repairing until approaching Berto and this attack against him and Berto leaned against the vehicle and had prepared for the end but strangely the creature was stopped with the arms of Berto.

Berto watched the creature trying to get close to bite Berto.

The creature was a giant creature of red fangs a creature that Berto had never seen.

When holding the creature Berto felt how his arms were beginning to give way and it occurred to him to let the creature ram with all its might against the vehicle.

Berto hit the head of the creature to move it away and it stood on his body and charge again but this time he threw himself to the side making all the force of the impact hit the vehicle.

A couple of seconds of silence passed and the creature had stopped moving.

"That impact was enough to kill him...i hope" (Berto)

Berto took the body of the centipede and made it back and saw that he had impaled himself with a piece of metal on his head.

"He killed himself ... hahaha shit." (Berto)

Berto looked down and noticed that his wound in the stomach was gone.

"Huh?"(Berto)

Berto touched his stomach everywhere but the wound had disappeared but in its place there was a scar as if the wound had healed a long time ago.

Berto stood up and looked around and could see many old buildings which seemed never to have been touched by other hunters.

Berto could no longer walk and defend himself whit just explosives and traps besides that he did not have materials to make them, so he decided to remove the two mandibles from the Centipede's head and store them in his inventory.

"Later on when I find something I will use them for a weapon." (Berto)

Berto ran to get out of the street and entered the first building he found.

The interior of the building was totally destroyed, broken furniture, television, refrigerated and many other things.

Berto decided to climb the stairs and on the floor above found a closed door and a couple of skeletons that seemed to be imps.

The door had about 30 holes in it and when observing one of them on the other side there was a skeleton of a human sitting on a metal chair with a rifle in his hands.

Berto opened the door and as he passed, he broke a rope and at that moment heard a small sound.

*Click*

"Huh?"(Berto)

* BANG *

Berto fell on his back and squeezed his shoulder watching it bleeding.

Without realizing it, Berto had pulled the trigger of a rifle trap which was shot, but luckily hit him on the shoulder.

"Shit..."(Berto)

Berto got back to his feet and ripped the rifle from the place and threw it on the ground.

"Fuck...damn you smart guy."(Berto)

Berto sat on the bed and watched the skeleton that had a rifle in his hands, but this was unusable as it was broken in some parts and it seems that the mechanism had exploded.

By looking at the fourth Berto I can see maps of the city as if this guy had explored it and drawn the routes.

"A scout huh?"(Berto)

Berto spoke out loud recognizing that this person was a scout.

Usually the scouts were paid to move quickly between cities and look for routes that were still usable for humans.

"Apparently, you've been here for a long time..." (Berto)

Berto observed the door and the position where the skeleton was and noticed a larger hole in the door.

"It seems that what made that hole bigger was what killed him."(Berto)

Berto noticed that in the room there were several wooden boxes and some closed metal with a small padlock, radios, electronic equipment, firearms which were broken and even an "inhibitor Bot" which previously worked to stop thieves when society still had not fallen for the monsters.

"Hahaha what a good find!" (Berto)

Berto could not help laughing and immediately began to check all the boxes and managed to find even a manual to repair and restart the "Inhibitor Bot" the only thing that was needed was a battery and parts.

Berto was thrilled to have found something that would be a very good help if it could be put to work again.

After reviewing each wooden box and breaking each metal box Berto found many pieces of which had to find the right ones for the robot.

Berto finally found all the pieces and tools necessary to repair it but all that was left was to prevent monsters from appearing to interrupt his work.

This under the stairs and block the door with all the furniture that had and went back up the stairs and decided to stay there at night working with the robot.
