13 what a wonderful surprise

little did I know that there'd be a surprise waiting for me at school.

It was around 8am when I got to school and had some time to spare so I went to the girls block in the departments, one floor above where my class was.

School was fairly empty since it was still quite early. The corridors were some what silent, just a few teachers walking up and down. The toilets were at the bottom of the long corridor.

They were modern, relatively large, with grey cubicles, white tiling and lit up mirrors directly above classy white ceramic sinks.

I got into the cubicle furthest to the exit, a habit more than anything, but the I heard some girls come in laughing and chatting.

I could vaguely hear their conversation but I got the jist of it since they were almost shouting. I assumed they thought there was no one in the toilets.

But when they got deeper into their conversation, I could hear each word crystal clear.

I honestly couldn't care less who they were or who they were talking about but i couldn't help stop being curious so I decided to stay in for a little longer.

They were talking about a boy. And a hotel. And a girl.

It clicked. It was the hotel I was in. The hotel I stayed in yesterday. But why.

The person they described looked like me, and the boy they described. Who was it? I couldn't hear properly, because for a second, I zoned out. Wasn't it all too much of a coincidence? Who was the other boy?

They were saying unpleasent things about, supposedly, me but then all of the sudden, one of the girls mentioned the word fiancé. Wait. What!??

I think it was time for me to leave. But why are they talking about someone who looks like me. Did I do anything?

I immediatly opened the cubicle door, and sprinited out of the toilets without even looking back. I didn't want then to recognise me. I didn't want them to see me. Because all I knew was that they were targeting someone like me, for whatever reason there was.
