6 The Two Masters and The Disciple

In Saitama's Apartment, a cyborg was standing outside of the door.

He was unmoving as he just stood there as if he waiting for something to happen.

He wore a dark blue T-shirt but the sleeves were ripped off making it look stylish, and black pants.

The cyborg exhaled as he was finally going to meet his masters.

When he saw Saitama's slap and Kenji's kick, he knew these people were strong.

Without hesitation, he asked them that he wants to be their disciple and they accepted him.

"Saitama-sensei! Kenji-sensei!" The cyborg shouted at the door, as voices were heard inside.

After a few seconds, The door opened as a bald head peeked out.

"You really came." Saitama said as he looked at the cyborg.

He was not expecting for the cyborg to find them so quickly.

"Um." Saitama realized that he still did not now what the cyborgs name is, as he was perplexed on what to call him.

"It's Genos, Saitama-sensei." Genos replied as he looked at Saitama with a very serious expression.

"Can you not call me sensei?" Saitama was embarrased by the way he was calling him. So he told him to not call him that.

"Master!"

"Not Master either!" Saitama was tired of scolding the stubborn cyborg.

He signed and reluctantly let him in.

Genos went inside his sensei's apartment as he thought that it was quite small.

He soon saw Kenji-sensei as he was playing with a pen.

Genos was intrigued on how the pen can easily spin in his hands.

"Yo! um..." Kenji greeted the cyborg as he placed his pen down.

He also realized that he doesn't now what to call him.

"It's Genos, Kenji-sensei" The cyborg bowed his head to Kenji.

Saitama felt like it was deja vu as he saw them.

He then asked Genos to seat on the floor as they asked him about his life.

He placed the oolong tea on the table and passed it to Genos.

"Wait you're back in one piece?" Saitama looked at Genos as he thought about the damaged cyborg from before.

Kenji also noticed this as he was also curious.

"Yes, my body is mostly mechanical. As long as there are parts, repairs are quick." Genos explained.

"You're an odd one." Kenji said as he was still curious about their cyborg disciple.

"What kinds of parts do you use, Saitama-sensei?" Genos looked at Saitama as he asked a question.

"Don't use any." Saitama instantly replied as he looked at Genos with a deadpan expression.

"Then what about the skin-colored armor on your head?" As Genos asked another question.

"Yeah, that's my skin." Saitama replied.

Kenji was already holding his laughter, when he heard Genos whispering to himself.

"But that would mean you're bald despite being so young."

Kenji couldn't hold back as he laughed his ass off.

"I'm bald! You got a problem with that! and You! You were also bald in the past! So stop laughing!"

Saitama screamed as he was starting to get irritated by the two of them.

"I like you! you really are funny!" Kenji laughed as he looked at Genos.

"Kenji-sensei, do you use also use parts?" Genos asked a question again but now it was for Kenji.

"No. I don't use any." As Kenji looked at Genos, wondering where this is going.

"Then what happened to your eyes? not trying to be disrespectful but they look strange." Genos blurted as he stared at Kenji's amethyst colored eyes.

"They're natural okay?!." Kenji protested.

Saitama was already rolling on the floor laughing.

"Kenji, he said your eyes are weird!" Saitama laughed as he teased Kenji.

"Well it's better than being bald!" Kenji yelled as Saitama's laughing face frooze.

Saitama then went to a corner and hugged his knees as he sulked.

"Heh, you're right it's better than being bald." Saitama sobbed as he curled up in the corner.

"Okay! Okay! I'm sorry!" Kenji apologized to the depressed Saitama.

He really did step out of line there.

"So what are you here for?" Kenji asked as he looked at Genos.

"Me? WIll you listen to my problems?" Genos said as he looked at his two masters.

"Sure." Kenji and Saitama answered.

"Actually, four years ago, when I was 15, I was still a real human being." Genos told them about his past as they were listening attentively.

"Although we had to pinch pennies, my family and I lived a peaceful and fairly happy life. But one day, a crazy cyborg went out off control and began to massacre everyone in our town."

"That insane cyborg was most likely a failed body modification and a virus started to spread in his brain. He annihilated everything in its path."

"Buildings, parks, schools, my house. He even took my family's life. By a stroke of luck, I survived the incident. But being only a weak 15-year-old, I was alone and the strength of my body was slowly slipping away."

"That's when Doctor Kuseno happened to be around. Doctor Kuseno, a scientist for justice, was on a mission to stop the destruction caused by the rampaging cyborg."

"I asked Doctor Kuseno to perform body modification surgery on me. That's how I was reborn into a cyborg who fights for justice."

"I see-"

"I sympathized with your situatio-"

Just as they were about to respond, Genos continued his story.

As what it feels like eternity,

Genos didn't stop his rambling as tick marks appeared on Kenji and Saitama's head.

"Enough, you idiot! Shorten it to 20 words or less!" They scolded Genos as they cut him off.

Thanks to him, they were genuinely pissed off.

Just as they were arguing,

A man was informed of what happened as he was inside a tower somewhere deep in the forest.

"Mosquito Girl was defeated? With one slap, you say?" As the man was inside room filled with books and high-tech technology.

He received a report that the monster he created was defeated in one slap.

"Well, she was merely a prototype, after all." The man snickered as he looked at his high-tech screen.

The screen flashed as a deserted district was seen.

The screen kept flashing as it finally stops at Saitama's face.

"Why does he have a dumb look on his face?" The man questioned.

"Unknown." As a voice similar to him replied.

"Well, whatever. He'll make an excellent specimen."

"We shall study his physiology, by force if it is necessary. Send him a gift and invite him here, to our House of Evolution."

As a man with slick hair that extended to his cheeks as it covered one of his eyes, he is wearing glasses, has pale skin, and a smirk can be seen on his face as he voice out his order.

Back to Saitama's apartment,

Genos could be seen being scolded by his masters.

"Kenji-sensei, Saitama-sensei, here's the short version:"

Genos apologized to his masters.

"Please teach me the way to become strong like the both of you." Genos exclaimed as he looked at them with determination.

Both parties stared at each other with serious faces.

"Genos..." Saitama called Genos with a serious expression on his face.

"Yes!" As the cyborg immediately responded.

"How old are you?" Saitama asked the cyborg.

"19." In which Genos immediately answered.

"So young." Saitama exclaimed as he looked at Genos.

"I'm sure you'll surpass us in no time." Saitama said as Kenji agreed with him.

"Do you really mean that?" Genos replied as he was happy that he can also be strong just like them.

"Me and Kenji are in the same age we are both 25 years old, but I was 22 when I started training in the summer."

Saitama explained as he looked at Genos.

"I was also 22 when I started my training but I was behind 3 days as I was recovering when I was injured by a monster. Luckily, I managed to beat it."

Kenji joined in the chat.

Genos was shocked from both of their answers, he praised his masters in his mind.

They became this strong in just the span of three years, just what did they do to themselves to have come this far?

"Sure, we'll teach you. But it won't be easy." Kenji said solemnly as he looked into the cyborg's eyes.

"I'll try my best!" Genos yelled, he will train so the he can become even stronger!

Suddenly, The cyborg's eyes flashed. As if he sensed something coming.

Genos squatted in front of the door, he looked as if he was ready to fight in any moment.

Kenji also put his guard up as he also sensed something is coming and stood up.

Saitama looked at the other two with confusion.

"It's here!" Genos exclaimed as his thrusters started rotating in fast pace.

Kenji took a battle stance, as he was also ready to fight.

"What?" Saitama was confused as asked.

The ceiling broke, as a mantis at the size of a human appeared.

"Kiekiekiek!, My name is... huh?" The mantis' face frooze.

A punch struck him in the head, The mantis' head flew and hit the wall.

Blood was oozing out from his neck as he was insta-killed.

"Pay for my ceiling!" Saitama scolded the mantis.

Outside of Saitama's apartment,

Two monsters were talking to each other.

"So..." A slug like monster said. It has arms and its size is the same as a human being.

"Hm?" A frog as tall as a human being replied, he wore a necklace in his neck.

He also wore pants that samurai's wore in the past and was holding a wooden sword.

"It seems our advance agent, Kamakyuri, is down."

"I can't sense him with my telepathy anymore."

The slug said to the frog as he was looking at the apartment.

"What? Wasn't he one of our stronger guys?" The frog asked as he looked at the slug.

"There are two more outside." Genos reported.

"Kenji-sensei, Saitama-sensei, leave them to me!" As Genos jumped of from the balcony.

He landed on the ground with style. He then saw the two monsters pounded in the ground.

"Don't bust people's ceilings!" Saitama grumbled as he scolded the monsters.

"Oh nevermind." Genos said as he looked at Saitama.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed Saitama below and pulled his body down as only his head could be seen.

"Master!" Genos roared as he was about to help him.

"Nah, I'm fine."

"I kinda feel like a bamboo shoot." Saitama replied as he closed his eyes and started feeling the ground.

"Elevated energy levels detected." A robotic voice sounded behind Genos.

Something exploded and dust were flying everywhere.

After the dust resided, Genos saw a cyborg that was twice the size of him.

'A cyborg? Could it be... ' Genos thought as he glared at the huge cyborg.

"You are not the target." The huge cyborg recited.

"You are in the way!" The huge cyborg roared as its eyes started glowing.

He jumped and throwed a punch at Genos, Genos evaded as he jumped up.

Cracks on the ground formed when the huge cyborg fist came in contact with the ground.

Genos spun midair as he activated his thrusters and struck the huge cyborg with a round house kick.

Genos back stepped as he rushed to the huge cyborg.

The huge cyborg's roared as he swung his huge arm at Genos.

Genos blocked the attack as the force from the strike blew the dust around 2 meters.

Just as this was happening at Saitama's side,

A large lion appeared infront of Saitama. Its eyes were red, and his arms is as large as a tree trunk.

"Well done Ground Dragon!" A mole appeared from the ground.

It's size was the same as an average human height. Ground Dragon was written on his chest.

"Master!" Genos exclaimed as he was worried of Saitama.

"You dare look away!" The huge cyborg punched him.

Genos evaded as rushed to the huge cyborg. Sparks was seen as Genos slid his mechanical hands.

He put his hand out as he charged it up and slammed it to the huge cyborg's body.

*BOOM*

The hand struck the huge cyborg's body as flames erupted.

A huge explosion occured around 10 meters. Dust and fire ravaged the surroundings.

Genos stood there as he took a battle stance.

A huge cyborg jumped out from the large fire as he strucked Genos.

Cracks formed in the ground, Genos could be seen doing a backflip as he evaded the strike.

He slid on the ground and landed.

At Saitama's side,

"He-" Before the lion can voice out, he heard a voice behind him.

"Stampede." The lion's body exploded as a series of kicks hit him.

Parts of him was all over the place as blood splurted.

The Ground Dragon was shocked but before he can escape.

A flash appeared before him as a roundhouse kick struck him in the head.

The Ground Dragon's head flew as blood splurted. He died without even knowing who killed him.

Kenji then flashed as he teleported to the two monsters and beheaded them.

This all happened in a split second,

"Geez, when it comes to monsters you're just as ruthless as ever." Saitama commented as he watched Kenji with no blood ever landed on his body.

"The world of monsters shall know pain." Kenji recited a line from a certain manga he liked.

Before he arrived, he was actually still in the room as he mourned over his manga that was wet because of the mantis' blood.

"What?" Saitama said as he easily got out from the ground.

"You will not understand even if I explain it to you." Kenji brushed hair up as he tried to look cool.

Saitama was staring at Kenji as if there was something wrong with his head.

At Genos' side,

The ground was leveled and holes were everywhere. Trees were burned as it crumbles into dust.

A man could be seen pointed his hand at the defeated cyborg that was actually a gorilla.

"Even if I'm defeated, you will never defeat the Beast King, the second most powerful." As the gorilla's mechanical voice sounded.

Kenji and Saitama walked to Genos as Kenji stretched out his hand.

"Is this the guy?" As he showed Beast King's eyes to the gorilla.

The gorilla glared at them for many seconds before breaking down.

"Look, I'm really sorry. I'll tell you everything! Please don't kill me!" The gorilla cried as he pleaded.

The three of them looked as the gorilla told them everything he knew.
