Chloe's Mall Trip

I walked out of Rick's room feeling comforted and happy that I could talk to a sibling. I went in my bedroom to change for the mall trip that I planned for myself, I really need clothes for school tomorrow.

Since I have green eyes, I wanted to match it with my outfit. I picked out a matching dress and tied up my blonde hair into a neat simple topknot bun. My face does not have pimples so I don't use makeup. All I needed was a pair of shoes to go with the outfit. I picked out my green pair of shoes and tied the shoelaces into a ribbon. All set! I exited the house, holding my purse and phone in my hand.

The Uber I booked came and I got in. Once I reached the gigantic white mall, decorated with Christmas lights, I spotted Superdry clothes that were on sale during this time of the year, Christmas. There was a wide variety of shirt designs that I like.

I walked in and picked out shirts, shorts, skirts, jacket, and a bag that's for school tomorrow. The queue was long but it was worth it! After an hour, I finally was able to get out carrying two full bags of my items.

Next, I went to the food court and ate Teriyaki Chicken rice. It was a dish made out of chicken glazed with teriyaki sauce, rice, and mayonnaise on the side. The food was delicious, the ambrosial smell of the chicken made my mouth water. I could never get enough of this dish.

The last place I went to was the sauna. I thought that a sauna was something I needed since I just moved in to a house full of man. I took off my clothing, shoes and wore a towel around my body. I untied my hair and walked into the hot, steamy room.

It was full if fog that I couldn't see properly. I was afraid, afraid that I would fall because of the wet floor, afraid that I would be unconscious. I tried to get it off my mind and I stepped forward trying to locate the hot pool. While I was walking, I heard footsteps and stopped moving for 10 seconds to hear. I didn't care anymore and continued walking when suddenly someone pushed me and I fell, hitting my head on the ground. Blank.

I opened my eyes and my vision was blurry, all I could see was steam. "Am I still in the sauna?" I wondered. "Wait, what's the time?" I walked out of the steamy room cautiously and then realised that my head had a deep cut, there was blood. I ignored it and grabbed my watch that was beside my purse on a shelf. "8pm!"

I grabbed my clothes, took a quick shower and bandaged my head using a med kit that was on the side of the wall. I changed back into my black dress that I had on earlier, took my two bags of clothes that I bought and booked an Uber. Relief came over me when I got in the car, "I have school tomorrow too" I thought.

I reached my house and got out of the Mercedes Benz car. The lights in everyone's room were turned off, that should mean that they have already slept, thank god. If they were to see my bloody bandage on my head, I don't know what would happen.

I scanned my finger and the door opened, the living room, dining area and kitchen is empty. I walked towards the lift and pressed the button with a 3 on it. Before it stopped at level 3, the lift opened at level 2. The doors opened and I see an unknown face.

"Oh, how are you? You must be the little sister, I'm Hikup and you-" Hikup's face was in shock and he hurried into the lift.

"What" I said rudely.

"Don't give me that attitude, I'm bringing you to Freoli so that he could have a good look at your head"

"No, I'm not going!" I shouted when the lift doors opened, dropping my belongings and bags on the lift platform.

"Just go!" He grabbed my wrist and pulled me.

"Let go you freak!"

He knocked on Freoli's door and he opened the door.

"Hikup? You're back!" Freoli said in a happy tone.

"Freoli, look at her head"

Freoli turned and realised that my head was wrapped in a bloody bandage. I wasn't fighting back any more because of the blood loss from the gash on my head. I turned my gaze to Freoli who was looking at me with his eyes widened.

"Hikup, what happened to her!" Freoli shouted.

"I don't know, she was like that when I saw her"

Freoli unwrapped my head from the bandage and looked at the cut while I stood up. It was bleeding non-stop. Tears filled my eyes as the throbbing pain was too much, it became worse.

"The gash is too deep, we need to bring her to the hospital" Freoli added.

"I'll ready the car" Hikup said before heading down to the garage on level 1.

"It's ok, I know it's pain but hang on a little more" Freoli comforted me.

We walked to the elevator and went to level 1. My vision started to get blurry and I felt dizzy that I couldn't walk straight. My hand was against the wall to prevent myself from falling.

"Chloe? Just hang on, hang-"

I couldn't hear anymore, my vision became blurry and I fell to the ground unconscious.
