10 Chapter 9 - Drop The Act

Everyone turns around to see First Prince Ryota with his brother, Second Prince Shin. Prince Ryota was the one who spoke and he grinned, "Let me search if you can't even take the time to look."

Ryota felt a little warmth when he saw Fujimura Miyu glance at him. He felt butterflies in his stomach when she continued to gaze at him. But, too soon, Miyu looked away. He felt the warmth leave and the coldness enter, but he ignored it. He walked into the room and spread his power around the room. He tried to be aware where everything was and Shin was a great help. He helped search the room. Looking through the bed, into the closet, and behind any paintings. Ryota was confused, 'I thought Hood was her, was I wrong?'

He was about to leave when looked into the open closet. Ryota neared the closet and took a greater look at it. A piece of wood was a slightly different color, close but a little lighter. He knocked on it and confirmed his suspicions. He looked for a handle and found none, so he fingered it with his long thin fingers and was able to get his nails underneath the piece of wood. Everyone was outside and Shin was focused on something else so no one saw Ryota. Miyu was confident that they wouldn't find any evidence, but was a little worried about her sisters. They would be jealous because Ryota searched her room and not theirs.

Ryota opened the compartment and grinned at his discovery. It was the hooded cloak and cloth from his mother's descriptions. He picked them up with one hand and stuffed it into his pocket. He walks to Shin and tells him to stop searching. They walk out and tell the group gathered there that they found nothing. They all nod, wishing them good luck on their search. Prince Ryota was heading back to his horse with his brother but was stopped by something. He looked down to see someone who resembles a small kitten to him holding onto his arm. Ryota, confused, tries to shake the woman off but she wouldn't budge. She grinned before saying, "Prince Ryota, it's so nice to see you again! My name is Fujimura Kasumi! I wish you luck on your search, but would you like to meet another time?"

Ryota begins to shake off the girl even more without hurting her and gives her a glare, "I'm busy."

Kasumi pouts, "Too busy even for me?"

Ryota frowns, "Yes."

With one more shake, Ryota was able to get Kasumi off his arm. This didn't stop her, she smiled and waved and cheered at him as he left the Fujimura residence. He felt a major headache creeping up to him as he left the household.

Fujimura Miyu sighs as she sits down on her bed and stretches out her arms. She hums as she feels relaxation for the first time today. Miyu glances over at the fox who began to sleep on her chair in the corner of the room. She sits up and sits down at her desk, not tired yet. She picks up a pen and takes out a piece of paper. She begins to write a song, something she does whenever she's bored. She sings out chords, testing out their sounds to see if they fit together. She's so immersed in her art that she doesn't notice anyone near her until they're still their window. Some knocks on her window and Miyu flinches and glances at the window. There she sees the one and only Prince Ryota. She acts shy and opens the window and glances and Ryota with lowered eyelashes, "W-what do you n-need, m-my princ-ce?"

Ryota, unexpectedly, climbs into her room through the window. Frightened, the skitters into the corner of the room and away from the prince. He brushes off some dust on his sleeves before looking up and seeing Miyu. He grins and sits down on the chair Arata was on. Arata woke up from his sleep and ran off and made himself hidden.

"Hello, Miyu, I must speak with you, " Ryota announces, acting a prince with every action he does.

"M-my pr-," Miyu begins to stutter but Ryota stops her.

"Drop the act, Hood, I just have some questions, " Ryota says, folding his hands in his lap.
