61 Chapter 56 - Stretched

Miyu glared at Ryota before punching him in the gut, trying not to hurt his private area.

He groaned before clutching his stomach and moving away, "Come on, why can't I have some romance time with my wife?"

Miyu sighed and said sarcastically, "Because we're on a thin branch, in the middle of the forest, in full view for anyone to see us, especially my sisters!"

Ryota sighed as he slumped against the tree trunk and threw each leg and both sides of the branch. A tiny black hair flew in front of his eyes, and he kept blowing it, trying to get it out of his face. Miyu giggled and scooted towards him. She flicked the piece of hair behind his ears before giving him a soft smile, "How was your day?"

Ryota smiled as he looked at her, "Better."

Miyu giggled. She flipped her hair and rested her palm on her forehead, over exaggerating, "Oh my stars, did I make YOUR day go better? I'm honored."

Ryota frowned and grumbled, "Funny. Wow, it's so surprising that a nobody in disguises can make a heir prince have a better day. WOW!"

Miyu frowned when she saw this, "I was just making fun of you, I didn't want to make you truly mad!"

An idea popped inside her head and she smiled mischievously. Ryota didn't notice the smile because he was too busy brooding. With a deep frown he thought, 'Is it that surprising that somebody like you could make my day? You make me happy! I don't know why but every time I tease you, make fun of you, or even be around you, it makes me happy, truly happy! Not a fake happy that I have to be in front of others or have to make myself feel when I feel empty. You fill that void, is it that surprising? Do you think you're not good enough for me?'

Before he could finish his thoughts, Ryota felt something on his face. Coming out of his daze, he looked up to see his guardian angel... squishing his cheeks?

Miyu took her pointer and thumb and squished Ryota's cheeks like he's a little misbehaving boy. She pushed them around, making his face turn red from the slight pain and embarrassment.

Ryota caught her wrists before saying, "What do you think you're doing?"

Miyu smiled before saying, "Trying to distract you from your moodiness. You're acting like a teenage girl with love problems and is on her period!"

Ryota flung her arms off and got up. He put his arms about his head and stretched, bringing his short shirt up above his belly button, giving Miyu a view of whats underneath.

She looks away before she could see anything, though, thinking it's an invasion of privacy. Sadly, Ryota didn't notice that she looked away, so he didn't tease her.

He yawned and looked around, "Yup, no one saw us. Let's go to your room, m'kay?"

Miyu stretched as well and said, "Sure, why not?"
