Chapter 38 - Just a Thank You?

Ryota frowned, "Just a thank you? I was expecting more!"

Miyu raised an eyebrow, beginning to try to sperate from Ryota, "What else do you want?"

Ryota grinned, "A thank you kiss!"

Miyu shoved him, finally getting out of his embrace, "No way! You are not getting anywhere near these lips!"

Afraid he was going to act on what he said, she put a bit more distance in between them. Seeing this, Ryota felt that he went a little overboard on the teasing. He didn't want to tease her so much that she'll leave him!

He rushed over to her side, "Hey! Sorry I teased you so much, I just like your cute face when you're embarrassed."

Hearing these words, she got embarrassed. If he likes her cute face so much that he'll tease her, then she won't let him see her face.

Worried that she's still mad, he tries to meet her face to face. But every advance he makes, she looks the other way. Frustrated, he grabs her shoulders. She jolts and gives out a little gasp when he forced her to turn around.

Glaring at him, she yelled, "What may you need, my first prince?"

Hearing those words, it made Ryota's face turn dark and Miyu's worry go up. 'Oh no,' she thinks, 'I made him mad!'

She closed her eyes and braced herself, but there was nothing. Nothing but a sigh. He let go, making her confused. 'Isn't supposed to yell, maybe even kiss me? What is he doing?'

She opened her eyes slowly. She sees him walking farther down the path, father and farther away from her.

Miyu chased after him, "Hey, what's wrong? Are you really mad?"

He didn't turn around, he only said, "Where's Arata? Isn't that what we came here to find?"

Miyu nodded, relieved that they're back on track.

"This way!"

Kasumi was mad. Actually, she wasn't. She was furious!

Because she was caught by the one and only Second prince, she knew that she would lose favor from the first prince. She makes an oath, 'Once this is all and over with, I'm going to kill and weak and idiotic sister myself!'

She walked to the carriage that waited outside for her. It was different from the one Miyu rode. This one was classier with more riches surrounding it. There's was diamonds and gold and expensive paints splattered all over the carriage, giving it a rich feel.

Kasumi hopped into the carriage and ordered the guards to send her to school. The school was called the Kaito Prestigious Gifted School for Young Talented Persons. Since Kasumi was one of the strongest Lady's for her age, she was able to go to the school, for free!
