Chapter 19 - Grateful

Miyu nods, brushing her fingers on the map. Ryota looks up at her after a while at looking at the map, "You can take off your cloth and hood, you know? No one will interrupt is, the servants are probably thinking that we're doing something naughty and won't come in."

Miyu controls her emotions and wishes while she lifts off her hood and unravels her cloth. She fingers the bottom of her hood that was burned off, "You're going to have to buy me a new hood, you burned mine."

Ryota sniggered, "That's what you get for trapping me with roots. It was uncomfortable."

Miyu looks at him with mock worry, "Oh, I'm so sorry. Did I hurt the poor little princeling. Oh, what must I do to repay my dear prince."

Ryota stands up quickly and traps her with his arm around her waist. He grabs on tight, while Miyu tries to resist, trying to push his hands off her body. She doesn't want to use her gifts, worried that she might hurt him.

He breaths in her ear, making her feel hot, "Wifey, how will you repay me, may I ask?"

Miyu stops and trembles, feeling his warm voice fill up her body.

"S-stop...."

Ryota chuckles softly, continuing to breath into her sensitive ear, "Stop? Are you sure?"

Miyu whimpers, "Yes... I-I'm sure."

Ryota pouts but releases her, making Miyu drop to the ground. Her legs felt like pudding, jiggly and unresponsive. She knew her face was red, but she still glared at Ryota, "Why are you tormenting a poor maiden like me? What have I done?"

Ryota chuckles once more but returns back to the map, "Let's get back on track."

Ryota didn't want to get back on track. He wanted to take her right there, shivering like a little rabbit in his room. She was too damn adorable and he didn't want anyone else to see that. She was his. Only his. And no one will be taking her away from him.

Ryota didn't say this though, not wanting to frightened her with his possessiveness, "You'll start school on Wednesday."

Miyu nods her head, "Alright, where is it."

He points at a building on the map, "Its in the middle of the palace and the trading center near the forest. It's quite large, with around five stories to it. It's actually a really nice place with good food, the only problem is the people inside. The teachers are unfair to the students and treat the richer and more powerful students than the actual intelligent ones."

Miyu nods, "Thank you, anything else?"

Ryota nods his head, "Why were you at the tea shop?"

Miyu's face brightens, "Right! I also forgot. I was there to gather Intel from the gossiping old men who drink there. One of the servants there was talking about a secret organization against the other empires. They want to create another war to throw the kingdoms into turmoil, and the organization will rise and become the rulers of the whole land. It sounded stupid and far-fetched, but I believe that I'm onto something. I'll look more into it."

Ryota nods his head, "Thanks for helping. I'm really grateful."
