23 THE FIRST FUNCTION-ENGAGEMENT

All the preparations were done for the wedding. it was time for the first function of the marriage. the starting point of being declared as official couple. it was our engagement. Usually engagement takes place 2 months before the marriage. it was the month of may and our engagement date was 15. I was getting ready for the first and big step of my life. I wore a lehenga. it was lavishly designed. it was peach with light green duppatta. I always liked dressing in a simple yet elegant way. I wore a white Kundan necklace with matching earrings and a mang tikha. Everything was perfect. I was happy on one side but on the other side i was scared and nervous. Everything was so perfect and going according to my plans that somewhere I was scared what if something happens...

Everything seemed like a dream but all of it was real. I was just praying to God for everything to go accordingly but he had some other plans for me....

something's are not in our hands. birth,death and marriage these things are not something that happens according to our will. God has plans for everyone. and those plans are completely opposite from ours.
