5 PAST

I didn't know the reason why he was upset and nervous. he suddenly said "I want to tell you something" then I said ok. Then he told me his deepest secret,which he hadn't told anyone. I was curious to know what deep secret he had kept inside him. He then started telling me about his past. He told that he had a girlfriend who ditched him in a very bad way. She not only cheated him but also humiliated him by making a scene in front of his friends. She became the victim in the eyes of everyone and told everyone that he was trying to force her to bed and when she refused he beat her. I was literally numb for sometime...I didn't know how to react to this. The guy who always had a smile on his face,had kept so much inside him. He composed himself though his voice had so much pain. my heart was aching seeing him in pain. he told me that he trusted me and so he told me about his past. He told I was the first person after his girlfriend Naina whom he felt he could trust. I thought to myself "is this the right time to convey about my feelings?". Then I finally decided not to rush. I decided to console him and to bring him out of this mess that was created by Naina. I wanted him to be happy. I wanted him to accept me and love me but not with bitter memories of past.
