1 Flower Shop

Alex had worked in the flower shop, 'Flowers Fly',for about a month. He tended to the Bermuda Roses when he heard the door burst open. The male twitched slightly before sighing, forcing a smile on against every instinct. His hands were still stinging from the flowers he had been working on, but he wanted to know who in their right mind would act like that when opening a door.

"Welcome To 'Flowers Fly'. My name is Alex, how may I help you today?" He asked softly, returning behind the counter with a bittersweet smile, his eyes shifting to the young woman who had stormed in. She was surprisingly young looking, which went against her old-looking eyes in almost a calming way.

"How do you passive-aggressively say 'Fuck You' with flowers?" The woman asked loudly, Alex slightly being taken aback before smirking to himself. The reason as to why is because he completely understood what she'd need to get, and likely the reason why. He was curious, yes, but he still had a job to do.

"Well, darling, you need some orange lilies and yellow carnations. That's what you need," He hissed softly as he watched her hurry to the flowers, shooting him a glare over her shoulder. "Who're they for?" She went back to the register after thinking about how many she needed. Alex looked her up and down with a sense of careless bliss. Maybe she had some kind of enemy she'd like to speak of.

"I need five orange lilies and ten yellow carnations. The flowers themselves are for my ex boyfriend. He cheated and now I need to say 'Fuck You' with flowers. I'm fine with it, though. Got my revenge," She answered as Alex grabbed the flowers. A small look of sympathy formed in his eyes before chuckling. It amused him to no end with the stories people brought in when they needed flowers. If this lady would choose to stay, he'd like to hear more about that man for no reason.

"Well, I'm helping you drop them off, doll. You'll need help with this deal," He smiled happily. If he was being honest, he just wanted to get out of there.

The woman smiled gratefully, laughing softly at his answer. She seemed grateful for him as she handed over the money and got handed her flowers as Alex went around the counter, watching as one of the other employees went behind the counter.

"My name is Rebecca. It's nice to meet you, Alex."
