The main entrance.

"Alright, Scarlett let's get going. We have business to attend to." Cadence said.

"I hate that girl. Who the heck does she think she is? Princess Melody. What a stuck up bi-" Scarlett snapped before being cut off.

"Enough Scarlett. You're just as much as a princess she is. Now, let's get going." Cadence said, rolling her eyes.

Scarlett put her sword away and aggressively shook her head. Cadence rolled her eyes and shook her head. They proceeded to the gates and pushed them open, there was a huge screeching noise followed by a guard's voice.

"Who goes there? Who are you?" The guard asked.

"Really more? how many times-" Scarlett sighed.

"Hello, I'm Queen Cadence and this is my daughter Princess Scarlett. My husband was King Ogron Luna, this is our home and we just had to defeat those weird mermaid guards." Cadence explained.

"Really? please forgive me, but that doesn't look like the princess I know. She had blue ombre hair." the guard said.

"That bi- she pretended to be me. Forgive me, I'm princess Scarlett. I ran away when I was younger and changed my style a bit. That is my mother Cadence, and my father was Ogron Please, step aside. We are here to claim our castle back." Scarlett explained.

The guard nodded and bowed before returning to his duties. The castle stood huge in front of them. The smell of the sweet roses filled the air, the ivy was bright green and the garden was beautifully trimmed. Trees cut into shapes, roses of all different colours were blooming, pebble path and to the left of them was a little pool full koi fish and frogs. There was woodland just to the right of them, which looked like it lead to some secret garden. The entrance was covered by weeping willow vines. There were lights on the path giving off a soft yellow light, the birds were singing in their nests in the trees. Everything was bright and colourful, and the air was sweet and calming.

"It's even more beautiful upfront than, all the way back from the bridge," Scarlett said in awe.

"It is isn't it? The gardeners did a really good job on this garden. I can't believe you'd ever run away from here. Look at it, it's amazing." Cadence said.

Scarlett and Cadence walked up to the main castle doors and pushed them open. They were instantly blasted with the smell of Lillies, Jasmine and oak. Inside the palace, the floor was made of high-quality polished oak and the walls were a very pale peach colour, in the design of damask, a victorian crest style wallpaper. Inside there were two staircases on each side of the room. made of glass and crystal with white carpet and silver lining. On the roof was a massive real diamond chandelier. Each side of the room was a set of 4 windows, equally opposite each other with light shining through. At the very top of these stairs were a pair of huge white oak doors that lead to the balcony outside with a view of everything. On the walls, photos of many generations of royal families. There were Scarlett and her parents and their parents and their parents. The stairs then split into two directions, left and right.

"This must be the main ballroom? It's beautiful. It's so spacious, big, rich and regal." Scarlett said.

"Yeah, this is the main ballroom. It's where we have all the parties, balls and coronations," Cadence said, pointing to the front.

At the front of the room, just under were the stairs finished, were a set of three thrones. One large one, red cushions and gold lining, a typical throne. A second one a little smaller with blue cushions and a silver lining and lastly a smaller one. This throne was white cushioned with black lining.

"That throne there. The black and white one, that's yours. The red and gold was your fathers, and the silver and blue is mine." Cadence explained.

Scarlett and Cadence walked around the castle. They counted about seven bedroom and 10 bathrooms. Every bedroom that belonged to a royal had an on-suite bathroom. The windows in the castle were carefully framed with emerald green silk and occasionally sapphire blue curtains. They walked up to the very top of the castle, about two flights of stairs and to the right and across a little outback bridge. It led you right to the door entrance of the royal princess tower and bedroom. You could walk all the way down to the bottom of the tower, which would lead you to the garden, or through the large black doors which led you inside the princess bedroom.

They walked in to find the walls decorated with a red and black victorian crest style wallpaper, the same as the ballroom. the floor was white wood and black real fur carpet. The bed was princess style with sheer black curtains over the top, king-sized and made of silver. The covers were black and red, with little tiny gems on the covers, making a quilt-like design. At the end of the bed, was a stood like bench with pale grey cushions. The giant windows were framed with black curtains. One window had a window seat with about ten black cushions on it. To the left of the bedroom, were a pair of giant glass doors that led to the balcony, outside on the balcony were red roses curling in-between the bars. The makeup dresser inside her bedroom was the same as the one back Ash's and her house. On the far end of the bedroom, was a huge fireplace which surprisingly was already lit. The room smelt of fresh roses like outside. She had a huge dresser that took up almost one entire wall with a secret compartment at the back that led to another room-sized dresser. At the very top of her roof was an Aquamarine and diamond chandelier. There was a black sofa-like chair with a black table at the side of the room with a pile of books.

"We got rid of that bookcase you had in here to make room for your huge dresser. We know how much you liked your bags, shoes and all that. So, we moved it to the library just down the stairs and to the left." Cadence explained.

"I can't believe this was my room. It's been all sorted and redecorated since I was last here. Did you and dad do this?" Scarlett asked.

"No, the staff did. We asked them to remodel it, just in case you ever came back home. I wish your father was here to see you now." Cadence smiled.

"I mean, this is huge and I love it. I may have to move back here and bring Ash and Jacklyn with me. This room is huge, I forgot it was all mine. Please tell me you don't have those annoying maids who keep knocking on the door at 6 am every day to dress me?" Scarlett asked.

"No, we stopped that ages go. I mean, this isn't even it. Have you looked inside your bathroom?" Cadence explained.

Scarlett walked into her bathroom to find a black diamond bathtub with a gold lining. A silver shower to the side with a black skull curtain. The sink and toilet were both made of silver with gold lining and gold taps. The floor was black and white checkered and the walls were just plain white. On the roof was a mini chandelier.

"This is just amazing, Look how big and rich everything is. I mean, silver, gold and aqua. This place must have cost a fortune to remodel." Scarlett exclaimed.

Cadence smiled and closed the bathroom door. Scarlett and cadence walked out onto the balcony and took a deep breath in of fresh air. They admired the roses on the balcony bars and Scarlett let her long black hair down to flow in the wind. Cadence smiled at Scarlett and gave her a quick hug before they returned inside to explore the rest of the castle.

"What's next? Royal queen and king bedroom? Kitching? Dining room?" Scarlett asked, closing the door and meeting cadence back in the main palace.

"Come, I will show you mine and what was your father's bedroom," Cadence said, walking in the direction of their bedroom.

They walked down the flight of stairs and past a few staff bedrooms, They walked back to the main ballroom with the generations of pictures and across to the left-hand side. Cadence and Scarlett reached the end of the corridor and came face to face with huge gold and white doors. Cadence's and what was Orgon's bedroom was on the opposite side of where Scarlett's tower stood. So, they could see her leaving her bedroom.

"I can see my own bedroom here, Spying much?" Scarlett laughed.

"When you were younger you'd try to sneak out. So, we had to have our bedroom here so we could at least give you some privacy, but also keep an eye on you." Cadence explained.

"Creepy. I'm not 10 anymore, You don't need to spy on me. Anyway, let's see what the royal queen and king bedroom looks like, I'm dying to see." Scarlett said with twinkles in her eyes.

"This is my bedroom. Trust me, you'll love it." Cadence said, opening the huge doors.
