6 Chapter 06

Next morning they decided to ride on horses. After breakfast they headed to stable. Quinnie pointed towards a white beautiful horse and told Evan that it's her horse. They all selected horses for themselves and enjoyed till afternoon. After lunch they decided to head back to city. Quinnie dropped everyone.

After one week new semester started. Everyone got busy with studies. They all study together in library after classes. After one week they were all studying in library, Elizabeth had to go as her brother called her to come home early.

Hey Elie's birthday is coming. What are you planning to give her this time??? Sheryl asked to Quinnie.

Not decided yet. What about you? Have you decided? Quinnie asked

Not yet, Sheryl replied.

What you girls are talking about? Evan asked with curiosity.

Elie's birthday is coming on 28th of this month and we are discussing about what present to give her this time. Sheryl informed Evan.

Oh My God….. Elie's birthday is coming and I was still unaware of this big tragedy, he laughed and said.

Shut up Evan, Quinnie glared.

Oops sorry, Evan apologized.

Leave it guys. Think about present, Sheryl remind them an important thing.

Let's go to shopping after completing this assignment, Evan proposed.

Sure. Both girls agreed.

After leaving library, all of three went to shopping mall. After couple of hours they finally got success in finding presents for Elizabeth.

After a week, they all gathered at cafeteria after class when Elizabeth handed over invitation cards to them.

What is this for???? Are you getting married???? Congratulations Miss Daniel. Evan laughed and teased her.

Read it yourself, Elizabeth replied with a pout.

I'll be there on time and "Happy Birthday" in advance, Evan greeted her.

Okay then I'll be leaving. I have something to do. Bye guys!!! Sheryl said and left.

I have to go to my Dad's office as well. I am leaving too. Evan left as well.

Elizabeth glanced at Quinnie, she was a in a deep thought.

What are you thinking????? Elizabeth asked

N-Nothing…. Hey Elie!!! Have you noticed something????? Quinnie asked

Yeah…The weather is getting hot day by day. I told my brother to install new air conditioner in my room but he refused. Sigh!!!!! Elizabeth replied in sad tone.

Quinnie hold Elizabeth's face in her hands and asked her. Idiot!!! Have you noticed something about Evan's behavior?????

No… I didn't notice anything strange. Is he a playboy???? I've never heard something like this about him. Elizabeth replied.

Nothing. Leave it. Sigh!!!! Let's call it a day. When will your driver come??? Quinnie asked

He is already in parking lot. Elizabeth replied

Then why are you still here???? Quinnie frowned and dragged her and said; Drop me first at my home.

After leaving cafeteria Sheryl walked towards the gate when Evan called her from behind. He was running towards her.

Hey, if you don't mind can I drop you??? I am going from your route. Evan said.

N-No…. Thanks but I am not going home. I have to reach to my brother's school. They need me for something. Sheryl replied.

Ohh so this is the case…. Then it's alright, I'll drop you at your destination. Evan said.

No thanks. My destination is on the other side and your company is on another direction. You don't have to be so polite. I'll be fine. Thanks anyways. See you tomorrow. Sheryll said and left.

Sigh!!!!!! My bad luck. Evan thought and headed to parking lot.

He reached at company. As usual his Dad's secretary was waiting for him in hallway.

Mr. Evan I have done all the preparations for meeting but Mr. Raymond wants you to go through the material before tomorrow's meeting. Here are the minutes of the last meeting. Evan took those files and entered in his father's office and start checking all the material. He was physically here but his mind was with Sheryll. She was looking cute in white dress today,he thought and smiled.

After leaving campus, Sheryll went to "AB High School" where her brothers study. Abraham was waiting for Sheryll at school gate, he was 4 years younger to Sheryll while 1 year older to Shawn. He waved to her. Sis!!! Here you are. Time is short. Abraham said.

They both entered to administration dept. They needed to submit some documents. After that they headed to hallway. Shawn's class is about to end Sis.. We should wait here. Abraham said.

Sheryll nodded.

Ringg Ringg....

Hey guys. Shawn waved when he saw them and ran towards them.

Let's go. We need to buy some groceries as well in a way to home. Sheryll said.

In a super market, they bought the grocery her mother asked to buy. They were leaving when Sheryll saw Jack and Barirah going inside a luxurious restaurant opposite to Super market. They were holding hands like a couple. Sheryl thought for a moment that they are the people who were close to her once. She felt her tears coming out of her eyes.

Abraham saw that. He handed a hanky to his sister and asked her to wipe her tears. Stop shedding your tears for a bastard. You don't need to waste your time to think about them, your time is more precious.

Sheryl smiled and left with her brothers.
