4 Chapter 04

After class Sheryl was planning to go to library when Evan called her from behind.

Hey Sheryl are you going to library? Can I tag along? Actually I need your help regarding today's lecture, he said.

Sure. By the way I didn't know that you took the same subjects as mine, she said.

Oh yeah. Actually I had no choice. I had to take any subject otherwise my father would force me to waste my vacations in his office and coming in university is better than going to his office, he said with a sigh.

Hahahaha, why do you always run away from your father and his company??? Eventually you have to go there, she said.

In library both sat together and started discussing about the today's lecture.

Hey Sheryl if you don't mind can we have lunch together? He asked Sheryl with hesitation.

Ohh yeah sure. I am feeling hungry too. Let's go to cafeteria. She said and stretched her arms upwards.

No!!!!!! Not cafeteria... I mean somewhere else… He exclaimed

Where? She asked

Well I was thinking that we should go that restaurant where we went last time with Quinnie and Elizabeth. It's a good restaurant and I liked the food there plus ambiance was good too and I am kinda bored with the food of cafeteria, he explained.

She hesitated for a moment then said "Okay…. But let me inform my family first" and she left hallway to call her mother.

Hello Mom…. I'll be late. I am going out for a lunch with a friend. She informed her mother about this sudden plan.

Okay dear. Enjoy yourself and take care.

Bye Mom… then she hung up.

In a meanwhile Evan came to her… Have you informed your family? He asked in a concerned tone.

Yes, she said.

Okay let's go... He said and walked toward the parking lot.

Why are you going toward the parking lot???? She asked surprisingly

Because I parked my car in parking lot, he said with a smile

Sheryl didn't say anything and walked with him to parking lot. She wanted to refuse but she thought something and sat in his car.

Hold on girl, your flight is about to take off… he said with a laugh and start the ignition. He was driving very fast and it was making her feel more uncomfortable. Then he realized and slow down the speed. I am sorry; I am used to drive fast. He apologized quickly.

She didn't say anything. She was quiet and watching outside the window. She was thinking about Jack. How he betrayed her and even didn't allow her to clarify anything. How her own friend stabbed her. She came out of her thoughts when Evan touch her shoulder.

Hey we have reached… What are you thinking???? He asked

Nothing, she said in a low voice.

They entered in the restaurant and chose to sit on the table at the corner besides large glass window.

After ordering food Evan asked Sheryl, Hey what were you thinking in car earlier???? You didn't seems fine, is everything alright? He asked in a very concerned tone

I am fine, she said with a smile.

Her smile made him feel happy. He didn't know why but her smile was dazing him out. His heart suddenly started beating fast. He suddenly changed the topic.

When will Quinnie and Elizabeth returning back from abroad????

Quinnie is coming back next week but Elizabeth is planning to spend whole vacations there, she replied.

Elizabeth is a lively girl but why she is afraid of her brother? He asked with curiosity.

Because her elder brother raised her. Her parents travel a lot due to their business. He is very strict, not only to her but with us as well. She told him.

Sigh, he is a dangerous person then, he said.

You will know his personality when you'll meet him, she said with a devilish smile.

And that smile again made his heart to beat fast. He didn't know what is happening but he wanted to see her smile again. He cracked some jokes to make her laugh but in the end he was regarded as a bad comedian. Almost all of his jokes were lame, but still she smiled that made his heart to skip beat. He wanted to stop that moment. After lunch he told Sheryl that he is going to drop her off as it's getting late. She refused but he persist and she had no choice but to accept. Evan wanted to spent some more time with her.

After dropping her, he went to his home. After reaching home he saw his father waiting for him.

Where were you son???? I don't think your class end at this time, his father asked him with strict tone.

I was with my friend. He justified and went to his room.

He took shower and lie down on bed. He was thinking about what happened earlier in restaurant. Why his heart was beating so fast and why her smile became so attractive to him suddenly.

Sigh!!!! She looks so beautiful when she smile. She can kill anyone with that skill. He thought and laughed.
