"So, you are telling me he was pushed to the side?" A deep adult voice resonated through the room. But someone hissed at him. 

"Calm down your voice. He is sleeping. Or I will take you out of here by your ear." A woman hissed and he could hear faint laughter on the other side of the two voices. 

Huobai opened his eyes and even though his chest was hurting a bit more than the first time he woke up, he felt a lot better. He looked around, trying to make out the shapes of people. It took him a few seconds to make out his parents on one side of the bed and Yitian on the other.

"Oh, you woke up?" His mom bent over to him and Huobai nodded and smiled at her. She helped him a bit up, but he was too weak and breathed heavily, so they only raised the head of the bed.
