Yixing opened the door to Huobai's home with a code. It made Huobai raise his eyebrows.

"Mother?" he asked because he already guessed the reason why Yixing could punch in the code without a hitch. He nodded and walked in while excusing himself. Huobai only followed. 

To his surprise, there was a dark inside, and none was coming to welcome them. His mother would usually be already at the door, maybe even in the hall by the elevator, hugging Yixing and staring at Huobai.

"I'm going to message her," Yixing said and pulled out his phone. He wrote something and a moment later, he got a message. It was a voice one, so he turned his volume up and played it. 

"Yiyi, I'm sorry. I was urgently called in to stand in for someone. I forgot to write to you. That I will come back tomorrow afternoon, so wait for me there. Bai knows his way around." The message ended and a hugging emoji appeared after.
