On top of one of the towers in the Holy City, an individual was standing there looking at the rising sun.

"Quite a beautiful view." The figure said looking at the sunrise. The figure was none other than Ryuu. As he was watching the beauty of the sun he suddenly turned his head back.

"I wonder what happened." He said.

A strong wind blew there and he disappeared from the place where he was standing.

Inside the main Holy Knight headquarters today the tension was quite high. All the knight's captains had gathered to discuss an emergency meeting.

Hinata waited for the arrival of all the holy knights with a solemn face. As the captains, they also had serious faces except one but he quickly hid it.

"You may all know why have I called you here," Hinata spoke.

"Yessss" All the captains replied.

"I see the information we had previously was too sallow so Litith please tell them the result of the investigation," Hinata asked while taking a sit.

"Yes, Hinata sama." Litith stood up and started to tell about every detail of the investigation of the situation.

The situation is quite severe a cult group has massacred an entire town near the border of the Holy Empire. That was the initial news they got but after some investigation, it has been found out that they used that massacre as a sacrifice to summon demons.

It is estimated that more than 10 ancient demons have been summoned and more than a hundred old and modern demons have been summoned.

Measuring up the threat they possess it has been estimated to be an S-rank disaster. If not quickly solved many countries in the Western Union may fall.

Listening to such a situation there was a grave silence in the room.

"Now that all of you are up to date it's time to make plans for the Demon subjugation," Hinata spoke and all of them nodded their head.

All of them can defeat an ancient demon but due to their numbers, it may pose difficulty for them. After all each ancient demon's strength is calculated at A+ rank.

"I want Litith, Lennert, Arnard, Glenda, Bacchur, and Geregori to command 100 Knights to watch and attack the town from all directions. I on the other hand will directly attack the town center destroying them from inside. As for the remaining of you, I want you to stay here to protect the holy city." Hinata gave her command and all the captains readily accepted as the situation was quite grave.

"Then you all are dismissed," Hinata said and all of them left the room to prepare for the coming subjugation.

Normally the Rook Knights would have complained but as Sare was so silent in the meeting they didn't dare raise their voice.

As all of them left the room, Hinata sat back in her seat.

"So can you look after the city on my behalf?" Hinata said without looking back. 

As she said that a strong wind blew in the room and the figure of Ryuu appeared.

"Sure but I don't think the city needs my protection have such a strong barrier protecting it," Ryuu replied and took a seat.

"I am not worried about the outside threat but an inside one," Hinata said while managing the paperwork.

"...Sare, so that's why you left him here." 

"Yes, he has been acting quite weird these previous weeks."

"Yes, he is, but also not so much that he can be investigated," Ryuu said while lying his head on the desk.

"I don't think the investigation will work, I tried to see any sign of mind control or the like but the result came null."

"Hmmm, Hope our speculation is wrong after all even though he is a prideful prick he still believes in Luminiousim," Ryuu said while looking outside the window.

"I too hope so," Hinata replied.

"Well then don't worry as long as I am here no harm will befall the city," Ryuu said and stood up from the seat.

"Also can you not use that wind when appearing and disappearing," Hinata said while looking dead in Ryuu's eyes.

"But it's cool," Ryuu said while giving puppy eyes. Though he isn't a kid but looking at his face currently most people will just give up. But the one we are talking about is Hinata and she has been subjected to such situations many times this month so she is used to it.

"No means no." Hinata sternly said.

"You are no fun," Ryuu said while taking one of his tongues out and disappeared from that place.

"Sigh, how can a person be so childish and serious at the same time," Hinata said looking at Ryuu's behavior. On the first week in the city, he explored every part of it eating all the food items available. The behavior he was showing was of a child who found his next toy.

But as if it all was a mistake he becomes way too serious when training and other such related matters.

Hinata couldn't help but give a smile while remembering all the things that had happened. Finishing all the paper work she strapped her weapon on her waist and left the room. After all, time was of the essence currently.

Appearing in his room Ryuu laid down on the bed and started to remember all the things he had experienced in this place.

On the first weeks of arriving here his adventurous spirit took over and he couldn't help but explore the city.

After that, most of his time was spent on training and sparring with the Knights and Hinata.

He realized that he seemed to sometimes behave somewhat childish but as it didn't hinder him in any way in fact he found it fun to act like that so he continued to do so.

Though he was salty about a thing and that was the fact that Luminous didn't show any interest in him. It seemed he had overestimated his worth. Due to this, he won't be able to meet a demon lord except Ramiris now.

"Well enough with this rambling, True sage tell me the result of your investigation on Sare," Ryuu spoke as he stood up.

[Master after completing various scans on the individual Sare for a week the chance of mind control and the like has been found to be zero.] True sage answered just as Ryuu finished his question.

No chance, but how can that be? His behavior has shown changes throughout the month and not the natural kind. Normal people won't be able to tell but due to me being able to read emotions, I can feel that he is becoming a different person every day.

[Master no outside interference has been detected but as it could be something we cannot process, so the exact data is hard to find.]

Hmmm, this situation has gotten quite complicated but I guess I can handle it. Let's see Sare what you have in store for me.
