Waking up, the young man found himself lying down on the floor of some rundown house.
Yet instead of panicking after finding himself in an unfamiliar place, the young man who goes by the name Kei began surveying his surroundings, trying to get a better grasp on his current situation.

Kei asked hoping that someone was there to answer him, and he wasn't disappointed as subsequently after he spoke a voice rung in his head.

The sudden voice in his head surprised Kei but he was able to quickly get over it as he asked the most crucial question in his mind.
"What am I doing here? Isn't Danmachi supposed to be fiction? And what are you anyway?"

Kei was taken aback by the revelation.
His current situation is just that unbelievable.

[Based on the information I have titles is a form of recognition of the 'voice of the world' for either an achievement, reference, or something else and at one point titles can birth skills but right now, due to your low EP, the chances for a title to become a skill is impossible.]
"How much EP do I need to acquire a skill out of my titles?"

Kei stood up and walked out of the house.
*Rustle* *Rustle*
Coming out from the bush two rusty daggers were shot straight to Kei.
Kei just tilted his head and nonchalantly avoided the shot daggers aimed for his head.
He caught one of the daggers.
Seeing that their sneak attack had failed the creatures instead of backing off after a failed assassination which should have been the most logical response, jumped out from their hiding spot revealing their identities.
"Goblins?"
Short stature similar to that of a child, a long big nose, pointy ears, and only wearing a cloth.
[Affirmative.]
"They look grotesque in person and they stink. I hope goblins in the cardinal world aren't this unsightly."
*Goblin Noises*
The goblins began letting out annoying noises trying to intimidate Kei.
But Kei just cleaned his ears and slowly closed their distance thoroughly ignoring the actions of the two goblins.
Seeing this one of the goblins couldn't hold back anymore as it pounced on Kei like a beast.
Kei took a step to his right at the same time raising his right knee delivering a hard knee hit to the goblins gut sending it smashing onto the nearby dilapidated crumbling house.
*Boom*
Seeing its companion easily taken down by the human the last goblin tried to flee unfortunately for its Kei isn't so merciful.
Using the dagger that it threw earlier Kei launched it back to its owner in an unprecedented speed, piercing the goblin in its neck killing it.
Kei walked by the corpse of the goblin that didn't dissipate for some reason and placed his hand on its body.
"Defiler, aren't monsters in every world made of energy?"

"Can you extract the energy in this one to replenish my own?"

A few minutes later.

After finishing off the goblin that was knocked down first and done extracting its energy Kei followed the trail left behind by the two goblins that attacked him.
On his way nothing much happened expected for Kei constantly stopping by and picking up edible fruits and herbs.
Currently Kei is hiding behind a big tree scouting the surroundings trying to familiarize himself with the area while making plans in his head on how to efficiently deal with the goblin that had built a settlement.
A few meters from his hiding place we're four goblins guarding the cave entrance.
'I don't have any efficient way to deal with these monsters, and fighting them head-on isn't an option either, I'm only slightly stronger than the average man. I can use my magicules to enhance my physical prowess, but that wouldn't last long, and if I were to be surrounded I'll be screwed.'
"Defiler, is the scan complete?"
[Affirmative.]
[There are 24 goblins in total living inside the cave in the four outside isn't included in the count. I also sense 6 life signatures that don't belong to that of a goblin.]
"Probably from the people they kidnapped, highly likely women, if it were men, they'll be killed and eaten instantly, as for women they'll be used for breeding purposes."
Kei utters in a nonchalant manner, though a cold glint can be seen on his eyes.
*Swoosh*
Kei's mere step that should have destroyed the ground was silent as the wind, appearing an instant later before the four goblins which caught the group completely off guard.
Both of his hands were extended on the faces of the two goblins, supported by the momentum of his jump he smashed the heads of the two goblins straight flat onto the wall killing them instantly before they could react.
The other two goblins reacted fast after witnessing their comrades die before their eyes, but Kei was far faster, he immediately grabbed and crushed the necks of the remaining two goblins killing them in an instant.
