11 Chapter 11, Conversation

"In what world would you not?" Eramus replied, releasing Kara's hand and circiling the pod.

"I have no reason to lie to you. In fact, as of now? I have the League's best interests in my mind. And not just the Justice League, but the entire League of Heroes." He placed a palm on the center of the capsule, a bright but warm energy seeping into it.

"But since you want him awake so bad, and I don't want you all to rely on me when Ghidorah awakens, I'll just speed up the process." Massive amounts of radiation and pure energy burst forth into the capsule, Kara being forced to take a step back and shield her eyes from the pure brightness.

The capsule clicked, Eramus removing his hand as it flung open.

Massive amounts of steam filled the room as heat blasted both Eramus and Kara in the face.

Eramus flicked his wrist, the half clothed body of Superman falling limply to the floor, swear all over him.

Looking at him, you could see he was almost pulsating with power, his muscles looking thicker and more chiseled than ever.

"With all the energy I just gave him, he should be strong enough to carry the weight of the world, and fly as fast as the flash." Kara's eyes widened at these implications.

Instantly she was on her knees next to Superman, her hand touching him.

With her senses and hearing, she could easily hear his heart beat, and feel there was nothing wrong with him.

Seeing this, she turned to Eramus.

"Why did you come here? What you did to Kal-El has brooded bad blood with nearly all of the Justice League." Kara said, standing up and approaching him.

She stood before him, her head up, making direct eye contact.

"You're fiesty, naive, and quite frankly stupid." Eramus chuckled, putting his hand on the girls head and moving her out of his way.

"But if you must know, I am here to answer some of the world's questions. I just decided to pass time with you while I waited for them all to arrive." Eramus replied, moving towards Superman's body and lifting him telekinetically.

"Right now Kal-El's power surpasses Thor's." He said, dragging Superman through the air as he made his way to the exit.

As the sliding door opened automatically, he stopped, turning over his shoulder.

"Are you not coming?"

Within the meeting room of the Watchtower, dozens of people moved about.

Many different figures were present, and only a select few were sitting at the table.

The leaders of the World Government, Monarch, the Justice League, and even the Avengers were present.

With the representatives of the Government and Monarch sitting down besides Batman and Cyborg, alongside Iron Man, and Bruce Banner.

Hal Jordan, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Flash, Shazam, and eerily enough, Doctor Fate and Plastic Man stood behind the JL representives.

Behind the Avengers was Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Hawkeye, and Doctor Strange.

With all these Supers in one room, most existences would feel threatened.

Yet, the one that had just blasted through the sliding door clearly was not!

"My apologies." His voice sounded, stopping the metal doors from landing on anybody as they were enveloped by a red energy.

He strutted into the room, a man levitating behind him, and a young woman walking in behind them.

The members of the Justice League squinted upon seeing their unconscious strongest member, and their member in training.

Eramus moved forward, reattaching the doors behind him, and placing Superman in the arms of Wonder Woman.

"Well why don't we get started?" He spoke, taking a seat and crossing his arms.

Batman looked at his colleague, shaking his head and taking up a sterm gaze.

He prepared himself to speak, but someone beat him to it.

"So why are we here mister Eramus? You called for a meeting with the world powers, and demanded us all be here? What is that you want." Iron Man, whom was in normal attire fired off his first questions.

"Well exactly that. I decided I would answer some of your questions, and maybe ask some of my own before I decide to enjoy life a little bit." Eramus replied, "I'll probably become undetectable for about a month, giving you all a heads up." He flashed a smile, Tony nodding in response.

"Then, what are you?" Bruce Banner instantly followed up, his hands being clasped together as he leaned forward.

"Hmm… Would you like an in depth explanation or?…" Eramus asked thoughtfully, turning his head.

"Yes." Hearing that, a hanf was found on Eramus' chin, the man struggling to form words.

"Well…"

I gave them a good summary.

I was once an orphaned young kid.

My mother was a world renowned scientist, winning 2 Nobel Prizes in her short life time. My father was… a criminal to say the least.

He was the leader of one of the largest gangs in the world, having took control of the entirety of mexico at his peak.

My mother who I lived with for the entirety of my early childhood unfortunately died in a lab incident when I was 10, and my father managed to kidnap me and take me in before the government kid.

I lived within his shadow, being cared for by an adoptive family so none of his enemies knew who I was.

I grew up that way, with a competent adoptive mother and father, and a demon dad watching me and providing for me in the shadows.

Unfortunately at 17, we would get into a car accident, both of my parents died in the process and I was left on my own once more.

Though this time I was old enough to fend for myself and that I did.

I graduated high school, went to college, lived life got jobs, all that.

My life was pretty normal until I was 23.

In fact, that was when it all ended!

Some random enemy of my father found out about me, and next thing I knew I was kidnapped and tortured, until the cops eventually found me and rescued me.

The culprits were incarcerated, the justice system failing me and giving them less than 10 years.

Furthermore, unfortunately for me, the henchmen of these goons led a follow up attack and this time, I actually died.

That was pretty much it for my first life.

"But that was a long time ago!" I lied, smiling.

"I was once human but… Now?… Perhaps I am a god." I tapped my chin, ignoring the surprised looks on the faces of all those around.

I told them I was born again in this new reality, with a special ability, and vast amounts of knowledge.

"I have abilities far beyond your comprehension, hell, even I don't know how they work! But what I do know is that I'm bound to become unstoppable in every way, shape, and form!" I said, raising a finger.

For a moment, there was a commotion amongst the Justice League as it seemed Superman had just awakened.

But they quickly shushed him, things in their area turning to a silenced whisper as Batman decided to take the attention away from them.

"What are your motivations? And why did you do what you did to Superman?" Sir Bruce Wayne asked, making me furrow my brows.

"My motivations… Fun, power, and exploration." I listed with my fingers, a smile on my face.

"As for why I utterly obliterated Superguy over there? Well I mean he struck first! And frankly, I am not the type to let my opponents off easy, like all of you. I may also add that it was a teensy bit fun" I said, tapping my chin.

"If he was not a key defender of this world, and someone I found interesting… Kal-El would not be here today, simply because of the fact he laid his hands on me." I smiled brightly.

"Don't be mistaken, my father instilled his teachings into me during my teenage years. I do not tolerate disrespect, even if I understand where it is coming from." With those words, some eyes glanced at the now awakened Superman, the Super in question turning away.

"What do you know about Titanus Godzilla and Titanus Kaiser Ghidorah?" A Monarch representative raised his hand.

"Well… It would be more appropriate to ask what you know… I know pretty much everything there is to know." I shrugged.

"Godzilla is an ancient, prehistoric titan that once ruled the world. Ghidorah is an extraterrestrial alien bent on destroying worlds. A malicious creature that finds joy in killing!" I exclaimed, making the Monarch representative gulp.

"The titans and I guess you heroes too, are like the Earth's immune system. You defend from foreign enemies, and you keep the world in tact. As for Ghidorah, he is a horrible disease. A plague that obliterates the immune system and destroys the planet as a whole! I guess aliens like Superman and Martian Manhunter would be equivalent to medicine, but even then it's still not enough." I explained.

"Will you be assisting in this battle with Ghidorah?" The World Government asked me, making me tilt my head.

"Now why would I do that? I don't wanna die…" I smiled.
