"Oi Grey! How much longer?"

"Just a little longer, Master."

"Just how big is this mansion?"

(It's a good thing I wiped out the mansion's guards. Since I reached my goal, I don't wanna run into any more trouble.)

They ran for several minutes but still didn't reach their destination. But this was not a waste of time for Sou as he was able to check out his Titles and Skills.

{Destroyer}

-User's stats will be raised exponentially when health is below 30%.

(That explains the sudden elevation of stats.)

{Dominator}

-Servant's loyalty towards the user is greatly increased. The servants cannot disobey.

(No wonder they obey me without any questions...)

He looked at Grey, who was following him, with satisfaction. In return to his smiling face, Grey tilted her head sideways in question.

(Now time for the skills...)

-The user can make wandering souls his servants as long as their mana remains and monopolize their powers. Affected by the Title 'Dominator'.

-Naming servants will make them evolve by sharing the user's mana.

-The user can manipulate mana to use as his own to a minuscule extent. The mana can only be used for healing purposes due to the small amount of mana.

(I didn't know that it could only be used for healing purposes, but it takes a lot of time, so it would be wise not to use it during battles... Hm?)

He quickly moved his eyes downwards as though he has found what he was looking for.

"What have you been looking at so attentively?"

Sou's face clearly showed puzzlement.

<No, Master. Even though I am seeing through your eyes, couldn't see whatever Master was seeing.>

(Now that's unexpected. I thought that he knew everything and didn't ask any questions because he understood it but it turns out that he didn't know a single thing.)

Sou paused for a while before answering.

"I guess it is only visible to me. Pay no attention to it."

"Yes, Master."

They came to an iron door with artistic lines engraved in it.

"Master, this where Lady Junko's body is kept."

"Let's go in."

(I will check the others later.)

They slowly opened the door. An uncanny chilliness greeted Sou which made his hairs rise, it was as if he felt extremely hostile yet secretive gazes fall on him. His attention paced to and fro as he tried to focus on finding Junko, at the same time, finding the hidden assailants.

(How masterfully they have hidden! Even with my heightened senses and Mana's Authority, I can't pinpoint their positions.)

Grey nodded a bit but wore a poker face till they found Junko's pale body lying listlessly on a platform made of ice.

Her body's lining glowed in purple which was only visible to Sou.

(There are traces of mana here... I guess this is where mana extraction was done.)

Sou turned around restlessly, inspecting the whole room.

"Master?"

"Come out. I know you are there. There is no point in hiding anymore."

No response.

(So that's how you wanna play it, huh?)

Sou turned to Grey who was looking at him with a serious expression. She raised her brows a bit and understood Sou's intentions in an instant. She prepared for the incoming.

(It might be risky but it's worth a try.)

"Fuuuuu... Whew..."

Sou inhaled and exhaled deeply. Right after exhaling every single bit of air he had inside him, his eyes went blank. He activated 'Eyes of Destruction' but it was different from the usual. His eyes, devoid of the golden pupils, started to burn fiercely than ever, the yellow flames from before were replaced by blood-red flames which were even more merciless than the former. He was wrapped in his tyrant-like aura, releasing such a domineering bloodlust that could make veteran adventurers fall to their knees and choke.

As soon as Grey saw her master releasing the intense bloodlust, she rushed to Junko, picked her body up with ease and rushed to get away from the extraction room.

His health rapidly started to drop.

(Given how they were described to me, there is no way I am gonna hold back.)

A large amount of mana started to swell up the space of the room, but this mana wasn't the surrounding mana, it was his mana. He was directly exposed to his mana which allowed him to control it by using Mana's Authority and since it was his mana, he could use it for more destructive attacks.

The mana in the room has swollen up to such a frightening point that even a normal person could see the will o' the wisps like mana particle floating and spiralling in the air. And there was Sou, in the middle of the unachievable, hovering in the air so beautifully, his body radiating a strangely soothing glow and his eyes covered in brilliant gold. If any wandering soul saw the scene unfold, it would misunderstand it as the 'descent of God', not knowing the extent of the danger of the situation.

But they knew. The eyes hidden in the dark, spying on their target, realized the gravity of the situation despite being ignorant to it before. Three grey-dressed men appeared out of nowhere and two of them ran to get away from Sou while the other one rushed towards Sou, planning to wreck Sou's plans. But alas! He was late. Sou was already done with his work.

"Begone!" Sou screamed as a blindingly red light started to expand from Sou's body and swallowed the surroundings including the man who rushed at him.

"Wha- Aaaaaaah!!!"

The body disappeared- no, it was annihilated. There were no remains of the body except the pair of ankles.

(Now... the second phase.)

Sou strained his focus on the spreading wave of mana and tried to compress it. The spreading light stopped at its tracks and retracted back slowly to an orb similar to the size of a football and hovered over Sou's right palm.

Sou focussed on his own body and with his heightened senses and Mana's Authority, it was not that difficult for him to find the absurd amount of mana flowing throughout his body.

He looked up and saw that the room was wrecked beyond his expectations. It seemed like a meteor has fallen on the room, making a gigantic hole and then disappearing in thin air. He couldn't find the attacker also, except for the pair of ankles.

"Too bad... I could have made him my servant but it seems like his mana has also disappeared along with him."

Sou glanced at the room's door which wide open. He saw faint traces of mixed mana, making a trail that led to the outside of the room.

(So they knew what was going to happen yet they didn't try to save their comrade... What a bunch of scums!)

He made a disgusted face as he focussed on his legs internally and circulated a large of Lightning mana. A few lightning sparks formed around his feet due to the accumulation of the absurd amount of Lightning mana.

(They couldn't have gone too far. And even if they did, Grey will intercept them... I will catch up to them in an instant!)
