29 Chapter 28: The Divine Arrival

"Oops! It seems Lucifer has fallen for it," the wise Supreme Kai remarked as he gazed into the crystal ball, discovering that Son Goku had entered the enigmatic black hole.

The black hole sealed shut rather swiftly.

"Are they intentionally luring Goku into the depths of Hell?" Supreme Kai pondered, his face filled with concern.

"Yes, it appears that's their primary objective," the ancient Supreme Kai affirmed with a solemn nod.

"But what can I do? Even I am unable to escape the clutches of Hell," Supreme Kai wiped his brow, anxiety washing over him. "Is Goku destined to be trapped there for eternity?"

"There will be a solution," Old Supreme Kai reassured him.

Earth.

Temple.

Two unexpected visitors had just descended onto the temple grounds: Sabo and Dodoria, both from the infamous Frieza Legion.

They had recently returned to Earth from the abyss of Hell.

"I never expected such a mysterious place to exist on this planet. Is this a city suspended in the sky?" Dodoria exclaimed with a wide grin as he surveyed the temple's grandeur.

"Dodoria, I believe this must be Earth's sacred temple," Sabo remarked, smiling. "I've heard stories of planetary deities residing on certain worlds. This location is undeniably unique, and I suspect it is the temple."

"The temple? Does a deity truly exist?" Dodoria questioned with a malicious glint in his eye. "If one does, then I shall relish slaying a god with my own hands today!"

"Hmph, my thoughts exactly," Sabo added with an equally sinister smile.

"Excuse me, but you two are not welcome here. Please depart immediately," a stern voice interrupted them.

Dende and Mr. Popo had emerged from their chambers and were now staring coldly at the uninvited guests.

However, upon getting a closer look at their faces, Dende's complexion turned ashen.

"You...you are..." Dende stammered, trembling with fear.

These were the very individuals who had mercilessly massacred everyone in their Namekian village during the crisis on Namek. Had it not been for Gohan and Krillin's intervention, Dende might have met the same fate.

"Namek? This fellow is a Namek, Dodoria," Sabo exclaimed, his eyes lighting up with recognition.

"It is indeed a Namek," Dodoria confirmed, recalling, "I vaguely remember that Earth's deities were once Namekians."

"But why does this Namekian look so familiar?" Sabo wondered aloud.

"I just had the same thought. Isn't this the kid who slipped away from our clutches back then?" Dodoria questioned, his memory surfacing.

"It is him; it must be," Sabo confirmed with a twisted grin. "What a twist of fate—escaping Dodoria's grasp, only to meet again in this place."

Dende furrowed his brow.

Mr. Popo stepped forward, positioning himself protectively in front of Dende.

"You insolent pests! You dare come here?" Dodoria sneered, eyeing Mr. Popo.

Dende remained silent.

"I shall make this clear—ascension to godhood is not a privilege afforded to all!" Dodoria taunted, pointing towards Mr. Popo. "This corpulent man is your follower, correct? Well then, I shall start by eliminating him."

With those words, flames erupted in Dodoria's palm, and he advanced to strike down Mr. Popo.

But Sabo's sharp perception interrupted their intentions. He turned to gaze at the sky.

"What's that?" Sabo inquired.

"What?" Dodoria followed Sabo's line of sight.

In the heavens above, a brilliant diamond-like flame suddenly materialized. Its velocity was astonishing as it streaked towards the temple.

"What is this? A shooting star?" Sabo was perplexed. "I've never seen a shooting star of this hue before."

"It's no meteor; it seems more like a humanoid..." Dodoria discerned, squinting.

"Humanoid?" Sabo questioned in disbelief.

"Whoosh!"

Before they could fathom its nature, Lucifer descended from the sky and landed gracefully beside Dende.

"It is as I suspected!" Sabo exclaimed, wide-eyed.

"Who is this individual?" Dodoria's countenance shifted, and he remarked, "He seems to move at an incredible speed."

Dende also gawked at Lucifer in astonishment.

"God of Earth, it appears you are in need of assistance," Lucifer smiled warmly at Dende.

"You... who are you?" Dende stuttered, sensing an overwhelming aura of divine power.

Why did this being radiate such boundless, untainted divinity? What mysteries were unfolding before them?

"You two, this is not your rightful place. Return from whence you came," Lucifer calmly commanded, waving his hand towards the two intruders.

"Bang! Bang!"

With two muffled thuds, Dodoria and Sabo were swiftly dispatched by Lucifer's effortless gesture, dissolving into the air.

Moments later, their essence transformed into souls, returning to the underworld.

Sabo: "…"

Dodoria: "…"

Who was this enigmatic figure?

How could he be so overwhelmingly powerful?

He hadn't even touched them; a simple wave of his hand had ended them both?

The souls of the two intruders exchanged bewildered glances, unable to comprehend their abrupt fate.

"Thank you for rescuing me and Mr. Popo," God Dende expressed his gratitude earnestly.

"May I inquire as to your identity?" Mr. Popo queried.

"Ah, I am a deity," Lucifer replied with a gentle smile, "You could say I am the paramount deity in this universe and, indeed, the entire world."

Mr. Popo was rendered speechless.

Dende, too, was dumbfounded.

"Lord Tenjin, did I not hear that Supreme Kai is the paramount deity in this universe?" Mr. Popo whispered discreetly.

"Hush..." Dende urgently signaled, "Evidently not... I sense that his divine power far surpasses that of Supreme Kai."

"Well said, God of Earth. You possess a remarkable sense for divine power," Lucifer commended, "In this aspect alone, you surpass Supreme Kai."

"Thank you..." Dende offered a respectful salute.

Mr. Popo followed suit.

"You both should continue your duties. Do not let me impede you, as I have pressing matters to attend to," Lucifer stated before vanishing to another corner of the temple in an instant.

In the ensuing moments, the scepter in Lucifer's possession emitted a radiant beam of light towards the void.

"Crack!"

As the flames intertwined with the void, it shuddered violently.

"Hush!"

In the blink of an eye, a black hole, approximately two meters in diameter, materialized out of thin air.

This black hole resembled a swirling vortex, concealing boundless darkness within.

Dende and Mr. Popo could sense a shifting of space, drawing them closer.

"What is that?" Dende inquired, his astonishment unabated.
