28 Chapter 27: The Power of Divinity

"In another time and space? Is that what you're saying?" inquired the old Supreme Kai once more.

"That's correct. I'll check if it's urgent," Lucifer replied with a grin. "This location is on Earth. I may be gone for a while or return immediately. If there's any issue here, you can handle it on your own. Don't fret. It all depends on me."

The Supreme Kai and the old Supreme Kai were left somewhat speechless.

"Let's go," Lucifer stated, tapping his scepter on the ground.

"I'll take you there," volunteered Supreme Kai.

"No need," Lucifer smiled.

"Whoosh!"

With that, Lucifer transformed into a brilliant flame akin to a diamond, broke through the void, and vanished in an instant.

Earth.

Son Goku swiftly arrived on Earth using Instant Transmission, standing beside Pan and the others. In addition to Pan, Son Gohan and Son Goten were also present. Shortly after Son Goku's arrival, Trunks limped back from outside.

"Boom!"

As Trunks returned, he collapsed to the ground, almost fainting.

"Trunks? What happened?" Son Goku rushed forward to help Trunks up.

"It's No. 17... He suddenly attacked me!" Trunks said before fainting on the spot.

"Trunks!" Son Goten called out with concern.

"He'll be fine when he wakes up later," Son Goku reassured them. "Be cautious. I've heard that Dr. Myuu and Dr. Gero have joined forces in hell to create a new No. 17. The black hole in the sky was formed by two 17s connecting through their thoughts."

"Grandpa, who's Dr. Gero?" Pan asked, surprised as she had never met him.

Neither Son Goten nor Trunks had met Dr. Gero, and Trunks had only been a newborn when he was last seen.

"Dr. Gero?" Son Gohan was taken aback. "The one who created Android 17 and 18, as well as Cell?"

"Yes, that's him," Son Goku confirmed. "I'll go check... By the way, where's Vegeta? Do you know where he is?"

Son Gohan and the others shook their heads, indicating they didn't know.

"But, Dad, what's with the earrings you're wearing?" Son Goten couldn't help but ask.

"They're Potara earrings," Son Goku replied with a slight smile.

"Potara earrings? What are those?" Son Goten inquired curiously.

"We can discuss that later," Son Goku said.

"Whoosh!"

After finishing his statement, Son Goku disappeared instantly using Instant Transmission. Within moments, he appeared near the black hole.

Shortly after Son Goku's arrival, Dr. Myuu and Dr. Gero also materialized.

The two doctors began searching for Son Goku. "Hey, Son Goku, come out!" Dr. Gero shouted.

"Son Goku, are you hiding? Are you too afraid to face us?" Dr. Myuu taunted.

Son Goku: "…"

I'm right here, don't you recognize me?

Oh well, it's understandable they might not recognize me in this Super Saiyan 4 form.

"Hey, the guy with the long tail, have you seen Son Goku?" Dr. Gero asked, eyeing Son Goku suspiciously.

"Spit it out quickly, or you'll meet your end!" Dr. Myuu added sharply.

"What? I'm Son Goku, don't you recognize me?" Son Goku grinned.

Dr. Gero: "…"

Dr. Myuu: "…"

The two doctors exchanged confused glances.

"It's normal if you don't recognize me. I'm currently in the Super Saiyan 4 form," Son Goku explained.

"Are you really Son Goku?" Dr. Gero asked, still in disbelief.

"Of course," Son Goku affirmed.

"I don't care about your Super Saiyan nonsense! Son Goku, we've been waiting for you," Dr. Myuu said with a smile.

"Son Goku, do you still remember me?" Dr. Gero didn't take Son Goku's new form seriously and smiled.

"It seems you two are working together!" Son Goku snorted. "I had a feeling something was off."

"Son Goku, Frieza and Cell are waiting for you. Are you eager for a showdown with them?" Dr. Gero asked, smiling.

"Frieza? Cell?" Son Goku scratched his head.

"Yes, they're waiting for you there," Dr. Gero pointed at the black hole in the sky. "And they've become incredibly powerful. You might not stand a chance."

"Really? The more you say that, the more I want to check it out," Son Goku's face lit up with excitement. "I've been looking for strong opponents to sharpen my skills."

"What skills?" Dr. Gero was puzzled.

"You wouldn't understand, so there's no point in explaining," Son Goku replied indifferently. "Alright, I'll head over there to find Cell and Frieza. Are you sure they're there?"

"Absolutely, hurry up," Dr. Gero urged.

"Alright, I won't waste any more time," Son Goku said without hesitation, flying swiftly toward the black hole in the sky.

"Swoosh!"

In the blink of an eye, Son Goku entered the black hole, disappearing from view.

Shortly after Son Goku entered the black hole, it began spewing out numerous beings from Hell. These were individuals who had been defeated by Son Goku and his comrades, including Cui, Nappa, Dodoria, Zarbon, Ginyu Force members, Android 19, and others. They landed on Earth and launched a violent assault on the inhabitants.

Once again, Earth's inhabitants found themselves facing a grave crisis. Son Gohan and the others rushed to the scene to provide assistance after learning of the dire situation.

Supreme Kai's world.

"Lord Ancestor... Look at this," Supreme Kai wiped his brow. "Earth is in trouble again."

"What a tumultuous time," Old Supreme Kai sighed.

"What should we do? Should we go help?" Supreme Kai inquired.

"You fool! With your strength, it's practically a death sentence," Old Supreme Kai scolded. "You'd better stay here and observe. If something happens, do what you can."

"Understood," Supreme Kai nodded and asked softly, "Lord Ancestor, why are you following Lord Lucifer's lead and not intending to help?"

"You fool, Lord Lucifer is the most powerful deity in this realm. He can't possibly focus on such a small matter as Earth!" Old Supreme Kai reprimanded loudly. "Don't you understand? We're talking about the entire Universe here. Do you have any idea how vast the Universe is?"

Supreme Kai fell silent.
