21 Red Witch's Fealty
When I next open my eyes, I see a white unfamiliar ceiling. Looking around me, I see that I am in a very minimalistic room on a bed with a crimson haired girl on my bedside.
The red haired girl is wearing pink jacket and a black skirt. It looks quite good on her.
Anyway, the girl is question is looking at me with serious eyes, correction, serious eye. The other one was cut apart by none other than the original occupant of my body now.
"Why are you looking at me like that, Miss Hwaryun?"
"Who are you? Are you God?"
"What do you mean?"
I just say that and make a confused face, I didn't think anyone would recognize a change this quick. My acting isn't bad either, my plan was to slowly change people's perception of me from my experience in the Clock Tower dealing with those Lords.
Is it due to some destiny bullshit? Yeah that's a fair guess, otherwise that yellow haired guy would have picked it up before this Red Witch.
"You don't need to act with me, my lord. I know that you have changed since I last saw you, since paths of destiny themselves tremble at your presence!"
When she says the last part, she starts to get a fanatic look on her face. I see, so that's why she noticed. And she is the only Red Witch who has seen me before and after my descent so she noticed.
I just drop the facade then and there and my face turns serious. It's not like this is an absolute life and death situation for me anyway, so let's see what she has to say first before making any decisions.
"So? What do you want to do?"
I ask her with cool and firm voice.
"I want to swear fealty to you, my lord."
I just tilt my head at this. 'What is she saying?' is my inner thought.
"Isn't that a given since you called me your God before you restored that stone doll? In my eyes, you already were my follower when you became my Guide."
"That is not entirely true, my lord. My true allegiance didn't lie with you before, I became your Guide on the orders of the leader of the organization known as FUG, Lord Luslec who has given you your new name. In exchange for a promise from him that has a little chance of succeeding, we Red Witches agreed to ally with him.
"But since you are here, I want to affirm to myself and to you that you are my true lord from this day till my last breath. Everything of mine belongs to you, in exchange I only ask one thing from your esteemed self."
Wow this chick is a little crazy. Some things are a little iffy about her but first let's here her out on why she wants to ally herself with me rather than the God of FUG. I think his Rank was 15 or something.
"Tell me. What do you want then?"
"I want you to free the Red Witches from the curse of destiny that Jahad has put on us."
"Hmm so why do you want to swear to me, this would happen even if you do nothing right? Even if you were Luslec's servant, the same thing could happen without you swearing to me and telling me all this."
I ask her this since I am genuinely curious about why here. And it better be for a good reason.
"Well first of all, I would be betraying Lord Luslec if I don't tell him about you. And second, we don't know if simply killing Jahad will free us from the curse or not. So I just want to just commit myself to you rather than Lord Luslec who has a very minor chance of doing anything to that end."
What she says makes sense, but I don't know about having such an opportunistic follower. Well usually followers follow people to benefit themselves so I guess this is good. And I know how to control these kinds of people, plus she has that fanatic air about her that could be useful later on.
"Very well. I will accept your offer."
"Thank you, my lord. Then how should I address you?"
"Just call me Viole. I think that's appropriate."
"As you wish Lord Viole."
After that we talked about some things and then she went outside. I, on the other hand, was still on the bed thinking about what to do next since all this happened. Also it seems that I was passed out for like a week or so.
"Well whatever. I should only worry about getting powerful, the rest can wait."
I murmur to myself. I start checking out the Shop.
And I find some useful things that would be instrumental in my rise to power here. I should probably take up a weapon instead of entirely relying on martial arts since my body isn't going to become powerful that quickly. It takes time to get physically stronger in the Tower, hence the older you are the stronger you get.
But my body isn't that strong, even if it is more than 20000 years old since it was not inside the Tower for most of that time even if it was born inside it.
Let's buy these things.

[Black Hole Sphere Shinsu Control has been purchased for 160,000,000 SP]
Shinsu Loop technique to increase the amount and power of Shinsu that I have and take full advantage of my Shinsu blessing. It will help increase my Shinsu output tremendously.
Arie Family Swordsmanship is chosen because it's successful style of Swordsmanship inside the Tower. And I will that S+ Rank sword of Arie Family Head as an optional reward so why not.
Black Hole Sphere Shinsu Control is a necessary thing to have if I really want to reach the top, since it's only available to Irregulars 'the ones who have opened the Door'.

I feel a light headache in my head for a few seconds as new knowledge enters it.
Ah, I see. So that's how they work.
Sadly, I will not be able to use Black Hole Sphere Shinsu Control anytime soon it seems. My current Shinsu output is pitifully low for it.
But at least, I can practice the other two techniques. I get up from the bed and go outside the room.
As soon as I get out, I see Mr Jinsung leaning on the rail seemingly as if waiting for me while smoking a cigarette.
He then turns away from me and says.
"Follow me, let's get your training started."
I start to follow him while checking out my updated status.

BTW for non Tower of God readers/watchers, Shinsu is Divine Water that exists in everything inside the Tower. Hence having resistance and powers of manipulating Shinsu quite essential if you want to rise in power inside the Tower. Obviously this Shinsu isn't simply water but just acts like it. You can do almost anything with it, even creating living beings as far as the myths are concerned.
Hopefully, you liked this chapter and what I did with Hwaryun. I mean she is a Guide who sees paths of destiny so it would make sense for her to notice the change since she was the only Red Witch Guide there. Evan Edrok will not be able spot the difference if anyone wants to ask, since Silver Dwarves work differently than Red Witches. Also even if he notices some change in the MC later, he can just attribute it to a change in attitude over the years.
