46 Chapter 44 - Reunion

Shinobu couldn't believe that she was embracing her sister who had died a few years ago. She couldn't help but cry her heart out letting go of every pain that she had been carrying. Ryuu stood silently letting them have their moment pondering if he would be the same embracing his brother. 

Meanwhile, Kanae warmly smiled looking at her little sister while patting her head. She was confused how it was possible for her to be alive when her memories clearly recall being in her sister's embrace before a warm light shine afterwards woke up to see her sister and a young man standing beside him. 

Ryuu saw her curiously looking at him before blushing seeing that she was naked and quickly removed his yukata as a way to cover her.  He smoothly caught the heart of Kanae who looked at him drawn to his air. 

"Here use this since you're currently naked. I'll let you two alone and oh yeah, Shinobu uses this to change her appearance since it would be troublesome if someone saw her alive."

He took out the [ Change Appearance Ticket ] giving it to Shinobu who nodded before going to her leaving quarter letting the two bond. 

Ryuu didn't want to ruin their reunion by standing around or even interrupting them like a certain fanfic mc dumbass. Furthermore, he still had to test the reward of his recent mission. 

"Who was that handsome young man, Shinobu? Is he your lover?"

"A matter of fact, Yes he is, Onee-san."

Kanae heard her sister's give a sweet smile, finding that despite her death Shinobu was able to live the way she wanted and not be burdened by her death. Shinobu helped her stand up and fortunately the [ Revival Stone ] allowed the person to be at their peak condition. 

"Tell me, Shinobu. How did I come back ro life and what happened after I died?"

"Before that let's change your looks and give you some clothes."

She nodded as Shinobu took her to their room where Kanae was able to wear her old uniform that fit perfectly. Kanae saw her sister smiling that real as she was finally unshackled by everything. 

Shinobu used the ticket that was simple enough, changing her sister's appearance enough that none would recognize her. Few minutes later sat down to explain everything upon her death.

"After your death, I have developed my breathing form and became the Insect Hashira."

"Ara~ that's an amazing thing to do and I'm glad that you've attained such a position. How about Kanao? How is she?"

"She's fine but currently studying your breathing form."

"Has she finally been able to decide on her own?"

Kanae asked, recalling that Kanao had been unable to make a decision for herself and used a coin to decide what action he would do. Shinobu downcast and shook her head.

"Unfortunately, she hasn't changed one bit."

This caused her sister to frown worried about their adopted sister and her well being. However, Kanae quickly changed her mood and tried to brighten the mood.

"Then who is the current Hashira? Is Oyakata-sama doing well?"

"Oyakata-sama had been well and recently got healed by a new medicine while the Hashira still hadn't changed beside Ryuu-kun being a new Hashira." 

"Ara~ you really sound intimate with that young boy? How did you two meet?"

Shinobu smiled and happily told their meeting showing how much of an impact that Ryuu had made for him. Reviving Kanae was the final force that push her to have a committed relationship together.

"He has a lot of mysterious abilities and I'm still shocked to see you alive, Onee-san."

"That young boy brought me back to life? Is he Kami?"

"No, I don't think so."

"Well whatever he is. I can see that he is a kind man and alluring as well. You should be prepared when other women are courting your man."

Kanae jokingly said, slightly attracted by the air that he radiated from him like a rose that was pleasant yet thornful. Shinobu only remained indifferent upon hearing her words.

"I already know that and Mitsuri seems to be starting to fall for him."

"Ara~ then you don't mind sharing your mind?"

"I do but it's clear that wouldn't be possible since I'm only second."

"Second? Who is the first?"

"His childhood friend but I can't do anything about it besides being by his side." 

"Fufufu then you don't mind me joining you?"

Shinobu paused from Kanae teasing words since she was only attracted and hardly spoke to each other. 

"If he accepts you then I don't mind. Anyway, you must be hungry?"

Meanwhile, Ryuu returned to his room and quickly closed the door before opening his system panel to claim the rewards of [ Yamato (DMC) ]. He decided to bring the weapon out inside the newly acquired [ Dimensional Training Room ] that has a dilution of 1:7 days. 

'How do you open it? Just imagine a gateway?'

Ryuu took a moment before a circular misty portal appeared before him and peered his head to see it was similar to the Hyperbolic time chamber and went inside. He looked around but there was nothing but misty white. 

He used his [ Byakugan ] to peer through the misty fog but felt something blocking him from seeing the things over the edge. Ryuu at least knew how far it gets and quickly sat down to bring out [ Yamato ]

[ Side Mission (Accomplished)

Task: Become a Hashira 

Reward: 3,000 points, Yamato (DMC) ]

Ryuu scanned the blade and by looking using his [ Byakugan ] could see that it had an enormous compressed demonic energy trapped inside of it. They were similar to Demon (Oni) but more thick and prominent.  

He held the weapon and tried using his breathing technique, vanished from where he was and performed [ Third form - War Slash ] that had a few second delay from the speed he did it. The weight for the blade was extremely light as if it wasn't there and had little resistance when cutting through the air. 

"Now I'm motivated!"

Ryuu smirks, practicing the blade and finding it a weapon for speed. He still preferred these dagger chains but the [ Yamato ] gave him more power.

'I'll just use this when I mix Stone and Fire breathing.'

He stopped performing practice swings before trying to create a portal using the [ Yamato ]. Ryuu was unsure how much limits that the Dimensional Slash could do and tried imagining his home.

Unsurprisingly, it didn't allow him to create a  Multidimensional portal. Ryuu soon tried another world like Draconic Deus yet nothing happened. 

'Guess it only works in what world that is in the verse….I wonder if I could travel through Underworld and Afterworld in my world?'

Ryuu recalled that his world is separated by three realms, Underworld, Afterworld and Terra Mundo or Earth. He would explore those worlds when he gets the chances. 

"I should stay inside for now. Wait? Would the [ Gacha ] still work inside a Time Dilution? Probably not."

He shook his head at the idea and spent the next three days improving his breaking technique and once he's done, returned back to Butterfly Mansion. 

Ryuu went to find Shinobu and saw her having a warm conversation with Kanae. They turn upon hearing his footsteps and receive a smile from Shinobu. 

"How are you feeling, Kanae-san? My name is Ryuu, it's nice to meet you."

He gave a light bow out of respect before receiving a giggle from two. Ryuu could already guess that she told her about him. 

"Why don't you have a seat? I want to know more about my little sister's lover."

Ryuu didn't refuse and sat down between them with Shinobu giggling at his stiff body being beside Kanae since she was her elder sister and worried about his opinion about him. Kanae giggled weakly, finding how cute his personality changed rather quickly.

"You don't need to be stiff. I won't bite but I'm curious who you really are? How did you bring me back to life?"

He stared at here pondering if telling the truth was optional knowing that the chat group rules were too vague that it was easy to take the loophole.

"If I told you, I'm from another world would you believe me?"

Ryuu sees no reason to lie since Kanae obviously would ask after what happened unlike Mitsuri who he planned on telling some of his secrets until the mission ended.
