There's no term like mate in vampire but they can fall in love. After death, they become like that. For this, they are very cold and pale white. They are said to be immortal which means they can live more than a thousand years or something like this. Although I don't believe it. But there are some ways to kill a vampire for example anything made of silver or wood access through their heart, somehow take out their heart, decapitation them, or make them contact with any kind of fire like exposure them into the sunlight.

However, a new rule formed for werewolves and vampire that both of us can't harm human without any reason because we were just myth to them but now they have found out us and they even have the ability to save thyself from us.
