17 First meeting with my mate

Travis's pov

He started his story, "My first meeting with her."

(Flashback: In our town named Harvey hill, there was three part of this town. One dark place named 'Opaque Murk' of this town. This place was situated in the corner of our forest This place is only for vampires. In this place, no human beings were allowed to come here. They also did not have the courage to come here because they believed from a myth from somewhere that they know in this place the vampire creature live who harm human beings and also kill by drinking blood.

There was a forest which was for animals include werewolves means us. All human beings believed that in forests other creatures lived in the forest. So they did not come here alone also. And humans lived in the whole town except the forest and the 'Opaque Murk'.

But from every human being, knows that danger is waiting for her here but she came and met me. When I turned 16, I can only smell her fragrant but now I have the chance to meet her. While hunting, I was trapped in a man-made net that could catch their prey, I mean they caught animals to eat. I keep howling for a long time to call my friends. But no one came. After a long time, I got to see her. She came to me to help me because she heard my howling. She was not afraid. She was so brave. She was especially forbidden to come to this forest because her family had already known that her partner will not be a human being by an astrologer. Now she knew her mate will be from another species. So she came to meet her mate secretly in here. She had come here with two of her friends. They didn't want to come to this forest, but she requested them so much so they had no choice but to come with her. She brought them because she was afraid to come here. They came together but return without her before they even come to mid of the forest because they have to return by 6 am. They could not reach her for a few hours as they thought she was back from there.

Meanwhile, she suddenly heard the sound of mine. She came into an alley which was made of trees from where my howling sound coming from. It was so dark. When she was afraid, she looks back and found they were already gone. She went inside of this alley and saw my leg wrap with a net of human-made which I couldn't get rid of it. I was also injured from this net. Seeing me, she rushes here and hurriedly opened the net from me. Then she wraps my leg where I get hurt with her handkerchief. While she was helping me, I smell the same fragrant from her which I go from my mate a while ago. Then I acknowledged her as my mate. I just thought that my mate has had not only the prettiest face I have ever known but also had a huge heart. She was so kind and generous. So I was so happy for having a mate like her. I just stared at her without blinking.

She told me, "This is a net which we made to catch animals. Sorry that you get caught by it."

I said, "Don't be sorry. You've helped me. Thank you very much for helping me"

Then we begin to introduce ourselves. I said, " My name is Travis wood. It was nice to meet you. What's your name?"

She told me, "My name is Sierra Cassidy."

When I'm about to ask why she was here in this dangerous forest at night. Suddenly full moon comes out and I turned into my real form. I couldn't control myself. I want to stop myself but failed. What could I do if she never ever want to meet me after seeing my real form? I was so afraid.

I thought she would become frightened and ran away from me or start screaming so loudly. But she didn't. I was shocked by her act. She didn't get afraid of me, it's really odd but it makes me feel so good. I immediately get to know her as my mate when she comes to help me that she had a great heart. But now I get to know that she knows something about me.

I told her, "You should go now, I'll show you the path of your home."

She asked, "How do you know about my home?"

I get nervous but replied, "You'll tell me. I know all paths of this forest."

She said to me, "I don't wanna go home."

I asked, "Why?"

She said, "Because I want to roam this forest."

I told her, " You can come here tomorrow."

She said, "No, I can't."

She plopped down on the ground and didn't listen to me.

Then I told her. "I can hurt or even kill you, Aren't you afraid?"

She refuses to go home and said, "No, I won't go home now."
