1 Chapter 1: Moving Away

Omariis Ankaa Estrange is a strong and ruthless war heroine from the Second War with the Dark Lord, Voldemort. She is also the richest living being to ever walk the Earth. She is this because she gained the money of her best friends' family vaults: the Weasley's, Potter's, Granger's, Malfoy's, Zabini's, and Nott's. Why? You may ask; because they are all dead. Harry, Ron, the rest of the Weasleys, Draco, Theo, Blaise, and all of her other friends. She also got the Lestrange, Estrange, Dolohov, Avery, Mulciber, Parkinson, and more for their crimes against her. She also got the Black vaults, because Sirius, her practical father figure, along with Harry, died as well. The only friend left was Luna Lovegood, who stepped up to raise Teddy and Victorie, who were orphans now. Omariis would take them up right after she popped into Forks, leaving them with Luna during the day as a nanny.

She was one of the famous 'Scarred Sisters'. As the world liked to call herself and Hermione. They were called this because of their torture at the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange. Whilst Hermione got 'Mudblood', viciously carved into her arm, Omariis got 'Blood-Traitor' instead. She also was hit with half of the blast that Hermione got at the DoM, leaving her with an almost identical scar. Oh, and did I mention that she was also scratched right through the eye by Greyback, leaving her with another scar on her face. Which meant that full moon, were unhappy days.

But one of the things that she wasn't, was happy. She was hurting, a lot. And that is why she had decided that she was moving away. Where? Do you ask? Why the tiny town of Forks, Washington, of course. There resides her uncle and cousin. Charlie and Isabella, 'Bella', Swan. She would be moving there and would enroll in her senior year in high school. That is where our story takes us.

Omariis took her, once her best friend, Hermione Granger's beaded bag and placed all of her stuff inside of it. She still hadn't taken any of her, or their stuff out of it from the Horcrux hunt. That was one of the hardest times of her life. 'But enough of that now,' she told herself. 'I'm on my way to a fresh start.' That, she was excited for. She picked up her wand, slid it into her invisible wand holster, and then, her phone and dialed Charlie's number. It rang for a bit before he finally picked up,

"Hey! Is that you Mari?" he asked. Mari was the nickname that he gave to her when visiting as a kid.

"Yeah, it is Uncle Charlie. I just called to tell you that I'd be popping over in about a minute. "

"Ok! I'll see ya soon Mari."

"See you soon Uncle Charlie. Remember, Teddy and Victorie will be coming too!" she replied before hanging up.

'Alright,' she told herself, 'this is the beginning of a new life.' and then, with one last look around her flat, she apparated away to the front door of Charlie Swan, and her new home.

When she popped to the front door, and seconds later, so did Luna with Teddy and Victorie, who were squealing. "Mummy!" in unison. "Teddy Bear! Champ!" she replied as she hugged them, and picked them up in her arms. "Thanks Luna, I'll see you later.", "No problem!", Luna replied, "These two are as sweet as Crumple-Horned Snorkacks!" And that was all she said before she popped away cheerily. "Ready kids?", Omariis asked, "Yeah! Yeah!" they chanted. Omariis knocked deftly on the door and awaited her Uncle to answer the door.

Charlie opened the door and was immediately met by his niece and her two children. "Uncle Charlie!" Omariis exclaimed. "Omariis! It's so nice to finally see you again." he said before he narrowed his eyes slightly at the two children she was holding. "You have kids?". Omariis immediately frowned and said, why don't I explain this inside." Charlie gestured to the door and lead the way into the living room where a grumpy Bella was waiting.

Bella's eyes widened slightly when she saw her and her the kids. Omariis understood why. She slowly let the kids down before turning to them and saying sternly, "Now Teddy, Victorie, make sure that you stay away from the kitchen utensils, and Charlie and Bella's stuff ok? We don't wan't to intrude more than we already are. Behave alright?", "Yes mummy" the young children replied somberly. "And if you don't behave, I'll have Luna feed you to the Nargles!" Omariis cried before tickling the children. "Now run off now!". And with that, the two did.

She then sat down on a chair and looked at the shocked looking relatives of hers. "Alright, so, as you know, I am a witch, and there was a recent war. You see, Teddy is the son of two good friends of mine, Remus and Nymphadora Lupin, who died in the war. Harry and Hermione, were his godparents, but they died too." she stopped to mourn them quickly before going on, "And Victorie is the kid of other good friends of mine, Bill and Fleur Weasley. They died too, with the rest of the Weasleys. I am Victorie's godmother, and Charlie, the second oldest Weasley brother, was the godfather, yet he died too." she finished with a strong voice. Charlie broke the silence between the three of them with one last check-in, "So, they aren't actually your kids?", Omariis stopped short and with a firm tone, said, "While I didn't birth them, they are every bit my children. And it will stay that way.", "Yes ma'am" Charlie reprimanded. "Good", "Now, can I set up our room?" Charlie's face contorted in his own version of horror. "Yeah, of course! It's right upstairs; the second bedroom. It's a little small, but it should work right? But try not to make it too, eh, magical?" Omariis smiled. "Of course! Victorie! Teddy! Come on! Let's go decorate our new room!", "Coming mummy!" came the two replies.

The small, yet close family opened the door to their new room. It was rather small with white walls and a plain carpet. Omariis, being as smart as she was, found a way to alter the room to enlarge it to be at least three times bigger, and it still didn't look like much had changed on the outside. She created a corner for her bed, which was tucked away and had a notice-me-not charm on it. She then, made Teddy and Victorie's bed. She created a small castle that reached the roof of the room.

It was two stories high, much like bunk beds. The bottom was pink and purple. It consisted of a small dresser fit for her clothes, and one for toys. Her small, toddler sized bed was in the corner of the tiny room. In an opposite corner of the miniature, castle bed, there was a ladder, which led up to Teddy's bed. The top was a sandy color with pictures of werewolves and mountains on it to symbolize his father. Teddy's bed had four walls and a window with a ledge. He also had a dresser and toy box for his things, and in the corner was his bed. To finish off, he had a slide to get down from his 'room', and on the left side, on the bottom, there was a small, childrens, training toilet for them along with a small sink and mirror, which held their dental supplies.

The carpet was now the colors of the Hogwarts houses, along with the overall theme of the room. Omariis had decided that herself and the kids would paint the walls the muggle way. Teddy had chosen red and gold, a true Gryffindor, whilst Victorie chose purple and green, her favorite colors. Omariis chose black, red, silver, and dark blue, for the houses. It was a colorful room, but beautiful all the same. the last thing added to the room, was books.

Omariis took out all of her second copies of her books and placed them on three bookshelves. At last, their room was done. Omariis and the kids smiled proudly at their hard work. That's when they heard two pairs of footsteps rising up the stairs. When her relatives reached her room, Bella let out a gasp, and Charlie lowly whistled. "Wow kid, you really know how to do things." Bella just glared at Omariis with hate and jealousy before turning and mumbling something about going to bed. "Goodnight Bella!" Omariis yelled sweetly and she heard, with her advanced hearing(Courtesy of Hermione), Bella mumbling something about her being a bitch. After chuckling to herself, she took Teddy and Victorie's hands and told them, "Now say goodnight to Papa Charlie", "Night Papa Charlie!" they chimed. "Night kids," he said, before leaving them alone.

Omariis lead the two kids to their castle beds and ordered kindly, yet sternly, "Now Teddy, Victorie, I want you both to take turns using the loo and getting ready, then, mama'll tuck you in." The two nodded and set off into their castle for bed. Not long after, they came out in pajamas and ready for sleep. Victorie layed down in her green bed with a purple comforter, just her size, and Teddy climbed up the ladder to his room and lay down with his stuffed werewolf. "Night mummy" they mumbled sleepily, "Night Teddy Bear, Champ." Omariis said before she too, changed into her pajamas and climbed into her bed. Omariis, pulled her long, red, hair behind her and closed her green eyes, ready for the nightmares to come.
