7 What? ****** is evolving.

"Theo!" Charlotte and Aurora shouted in unison as they wondered from places to places, but to no avail, they still weren't able to find Theo.

Below Theo was the two girls shouting his name, jumping off like a ROS player Theo landed successfully on Charlotte.

*Slap

Unsure of what happened, Theo felt great pain all over his body as he was slapped away by Aurora.

The pain subsided and heavy injuries were made so Theo quickly got up after being able to stand up.

Having no clue that the spider that Aurora slapped was Theo. Both of them continued for the missing "Theo".

Meanwhile, Theo was also trying his best to follow the girls, but even at the girl's walking speed, Theo was unable to get close due to his short legs. To make it worse the wind wasn't quite cooperative with him today and even was blowing against him. He also can't crawl wantonly as some birds definitely wouldn't mind a short snack and it wasn't just birds he got to be wary of. This forest was home to many insects and animals. Who knows what danger lurks in here.

Experiencing this harsh journey, Theo stupidly thought, "If only spiders could fly!"

But just as he was walking on the trunk of a tree, a sudden feeling of danger was sensed from his hairy legs. Spider-Sense! Spitting on an impulse, Theo spat his spit on the eyes of his attacker causing it to miss.

*Urrrk(BirdSFK?)

The bird tried to remove the corrosive material blocking its eyes. Without having its eyes to find the right flight path it unluckily got its head buried on a small tree hollow(hole).

"A chance!" Theo thought.

But instead of running away, Theo instead jumped on its neck as he sunk his fangs deep into it dyeing its green feather red. Meanwhile, the toxin was slowly released out of Theo's fangs flowing through the bird's bloodstream.

Minutes have passed and the poison still showed no effect to the struggling bird. Theo was sucked dry of his poison and already hid far away under a leaf in fear that it might escape and hunt him in revenge.

Soon enough, the bird showed signs of weakening as its wings finally lost its power. Theo then prepared to eat the unlucky bird alive. In truth, Theo could've done this earlier but the wind generated from its wings almost blew him away not mentioning getting hit by its wings.

Just as Theo spat his digestive juice on its feathery-skin, he found out that it wasn't working like it usually does. It wasn't even able to "liquify" a part of its feather. But it seems that he didn't need to kill it now as the bird finally gave up resisting and accepted its faith.

Ding!

"Emerald Shore Bird killed! Soul Obtained!"

"Would you like to assimilate? Y/N (Note: Host can't undergo assimilation stage when you're already in one.)

Originally, Theo planned to find the two after gaining the bird's form but now that he can't change form while assimilating his spider's form. Let's say even if he did become able to transform into a bird he will just be stuck in another form without a way to prove himself to the two. Well, there is a way but it would be troublesome.

It would be a miracle if Aurora didn't shot him down with a spell and being turned into a delicacy by Charlotte. Seeing a bird coming at you who wouldn't defend himself/herself unless you were a masochist.

Giving up on turning into a bird Theo finally remembered that he can actually just "edit" his forms!

How do I "edit" anyway?

Just as Theo thought of that, a 2d figure of his spider appeared in his mind similar to those where your about to pick your character in games like Tekken or something similar. Imagining of clicking it, all the other things were gone and all that was left were a 3d hologram of the Red-Backed Spitting Spider and something called "Evolution Points(2).

Suddenly, a cursor like a thing appeared and Theo imagined for it to move and it did! Trying to tap its legs, the whole body of the spider was highlighted. Then, different kinds of spiders started popping up in his mind.

Each of them was connected to each other with a line forming a big branching system. At the most bottom of the branching system were the Red-Backed Spitting Spider which was the only one that had vivid colors compared to the other that seemed dull and lifeless.

Theo then saw the five different spider connected to his spider form glowing. Moving the cursor to the biggest one which was just a bit bigger than the Red-Backed Spitting Spider. Information about it appeared within his mind.

Species: Poison Fanged Spider

Description: Invisible to most insects due to its camouflage color, this spider won't go for the kill until its prey is within reach of its forelegs. After securing the prey with its strong forelegs it would then dig its fangs which would induce paralyzing effect to the prey.

Although being invisible to insects was a great trait for a spider. In the future, insects weren't the only enemy he would come across with especially now that Theo decided to roam this world freely as "Great Beast" or maybe "Beast God"?

After reading all the other spider's descriptions, Theo reluctantly decided to evolve into a small but highly toxic jumping spider.

"Would you like to evolve into a "Darting Spider", Y/N"

Clicking yes, an unimaginable thing happened.

"Spider Form is not fully assimilated unable to evolve! Please try again later."

Theo couldn't help face palming himself but found out that his spider legs weren't even able to reach his face due to the limitation of his joints.

"This assimilating thing is even more troublesome than I thought!"

This time Theo was too rash and almost got himself stuck in a birds body for another day. Now that he's familiar on what consequences would happen he decided that he'd at least give Charlotte and Aurora a heads up whenever he'll assimilate a form.

Proceeding with the search for the two, unknowingly the sun has already begun to set without Theo noticing it.

Ding!

"Assimilation Complete!"

Hearing the cold voice in his mind, Theo said excitedly, "Transform into a human!"

Suddenly, runes of unknown origin begun to circle around him, different from the previous transformation where Theo's body heated up and was enveloped by a warm light. This time no burning sensation was felt and the process was somewhat comfortable.

As if a fish back in the water, Theo almost jump in joy as he said, "F*ck, Yeah! Being a small spider is too dangerous!"

What Theo didn't was his spider form was nothing in front of real beasts with humungous size even bigger than your average car on earth. Currently, Theo's knowledge about beasts was so little that earth's common sense wasn't even applicable here.

Before even Theo managed to tidy himself he smelled something very familiar as wafted through his nose. Unable to forget the summer nights which he spent with his father roasting meat. He naturally knew that someone near was roasting a delicious, juicy meat!

Smoke gathered up in the sky, and from Theo's point of view, it seemed that the sun itself fell down to earth with smokes following its trails. Oh, he forgot that this was no earth.
